our daughter and she went above and beyond to find all our vendors and make sure everything went smoothly. We had a year of planning where she answered every email, text and phone call immediately and always with the happiest attitude, which kept us at ease the whole time. When the wedding weekend finally arrived she made sure everything went without a glitch. We never worried knowing Jill had it all under control. And Wow!!!! She got our vision to a tea. It was exactly as we had hoped. We literally were blown away that the welcome party and whole wedding ceremony and reception was 100% what we had in mind. I can’t recommend Jill enough. A true professional with the sweetest demeanor. You would be lucky to have her and by the way her son Jake is an incredible videographer too :) Kristin Poulsen

anner. Picking Jill was easy - as easy as it was to talk to her, get to know her, and realize she was the perfect person to handle all the questions and details and stress of the process. We didn't necessarily have the strongest vision for our wedding other than wanting to prioritize our guests' experience and keep the aesthetic minimal but meaningful and elegant, so Jill made for the perfect collaborator. Without ever overwhelming us, she found vendors who worked within our budget and growing vision for the wedding day. During the planning process I had more questions and changes about anything that could possibly come up, and Jill was not only patient but superbly organized and quick to respond. She never left a doubt in my naturally very indecisive mind that whatever we would end up choosing would be just right for us. When the day came, it was absolute bliss to hand over the reins and live completely in the moment. As someone who tends to overthink or worry about how everyone else is doing, having Jill allowed me to remain present the entire time. On top of mastering the orchestration of the day, she was equally as present and encouraging every step of the way. Without a doubt, feeling at ease that a professional is in charge is one thing, but feeling like you also have a dear friend by your side as happy as you are is indescribable. Of course, any hiccups of the day were small and hardly noticeable. The foundation for which Jill builds up your confidence in the success and happiness of your wedding day is through months of patience, positivity, attention to detail/bigger picture, a highly honed skill set, and trust. Her expertise is not to be missed for any event planning opportunity. We could not recommend her more!

e process, she was honest, responsive, extremely organized, provided practical guidance and advice on whatever we needed her help with and we trusted everything was in good hands right away when we started working together. She gave us many vendors to choose from and her design expertise literally helped our vision come to life - everything was BEAUTIFUL. One thing I didn't think about when considering a planner was how much of a role they will have on your big day, in addition to everything leading up to it. On wedding day, Jill was so calm, helped with every last minute detail, and fun! As the bride I felt so comfortable around her and so did our families and bridal parties. We cannot thank Jill enough for everything. We truly enjoyed planning our wedding and are so grateful to say our wedding weekend was PERFECT because of Jill's planning with us every step of the way!

Jill, I don't know what we would have done! She was so helpful with our venue and vendors, all the changes, state mandates, etc. When we were picking our wedding coordinator, we did not seem to put much focus on his/her personality. Looking back, this is so important and one of the things I enjoyed most about Jill and her team. On our wedding day, she was so calm, collected, friendly, patient, warm, welcoming, everything you would want ! Not to mention, all our of family, wedding party and guests commented about how much they enjoyed her. I highly recommend Jill and her team!

dings she has planned. I knew she needed to be our day of planner and also our ultimate resource for vendors in Santa Barbara. Meeting with her was essential and key because we wanted her to see who we were as a couple and how we were envisioning our wedding day. From meeting her in October to the actual day, she was so transparent and accessible via email (which I prefer when it comes to communication) and text leading up to the day. I did follow the checklist from the Knot and she wanted to make sure she was in the loop when it came to our vendor choices because in the end, she corralled all of the vendors together, created the most extensive day of timeline (btw, my photographer was super impressed with) down to the very little details. She was there when I was in panic mode but with her guidance and her expertise, I knew I was in great hands. I wanted it to be a local Santa Barbara wedding, with local vendors, local flowers, and a full female force of women who were going to make this happen. I felt so empowered during our wedding day and the response and feedback I got from our guests left me speechless. To say that my wedding was one of the most fun and beautiful weddings they've ever seen, it's all because of Jill. My advice to the brides out there, please trust your planners and trust your vendors -- especially Jill. I knew she was the expert and has seen it all. The only thing I requested from her was not to know the big mistakes and just to let me be like Dory from Finding Nemo. I think our relationship was fantastic because I did not demand or go bride-zilla on her or anyone I worked with. Treat people with love, respect and kindness, you will get the best wedding ever. Jill, thank you again for your support, love and energy, you made this day happen and I am so sad that it's over. <3

a area. When my husband & I told her our budget she said that would be totally do-able. Looking back she was always telling us what we wanted to hear. So that's where it started, the budget. We felt ok w/her high fee b/c she made us believe she would help save us money by advising us on how to cut costs & b/c of her strong relationships w/vendors. None of that happened & as an additional punch in the gut, she gave us a budget that was 2.5x more than what we'd agreed on. We paid more for her "design" package when we should've only paid for her to be our day of coordinator as we never could figure out what she "designed." She did have great taste in vendors but we could've found them on our own w/a little digging. And she did initially correspond w/lighting, the florist & the rental co, which is evidently what the design pckg gets you but when she wasn’t responding in a timely fashion, that was more stressful than helpful. And I should say Dina, Jill’s mgr, corresponded b/c soon after we hired Jill, she handed us off to her. We were willing to overlook that until documents continued to be turned in w/typos, mistakes & were just sloppy which felt unacceptable considering what we were paying. At times we wouldn't hear from Dina for a wk! The only times we ever spoke to Jill was when we requested a call. Not once did they ever call us. We got so frustrated w/the gaps in communication we reached out to the rental co ourselves. Then Dina had the nerve to scold us for doing so. Then how about responding to us! At times we felt like our wedding was being held hostage. We couldn't make decisions b/c they wouldn't get back to us & when we did connect they weren't incredibly helpful. There was no advice on how to cut costs, if anything they kept wanting to add to our orders & no consulting on the design or our vision. It became clear they only wanted to do the bare minimum. My husband & I worked so hard on a lot of DIY & that coupled w/the flowers & candles is what ultimately made our wedding come to life like it did, not Jill. To be honest, she just placed things on the day of the wedding so again our regret is that we paid so much more for a design pckg when their services were ultimately more on par w/a day of coordinator. We were also disappointed in how some things were handled at the wedding. Some guests told us she’d said something about the option to pack things up that night! It wasn’t appropriate to even be having that conversation w/anyone when we’d previously agreed she would be responsible for breaking down & we’d pick everything up in the AM. This is the last thing you want your guests who are just there to enjoy themselves to be worrying about. Isn’t that why you hire a planner? It seemed like things were just carelessly thrown into boxes & bins. One of our expensive frames was missing the glass. We felt she should’ve been more on top of it & stuff like that should’ve somehow been communicated to us after the wedding. Communication in general is what was terribly lacking right up until the end. After the wedding, they didn’t bother to follow up, no update on how things went, where things were packed, what was left at the venue, nothing. I had to check in to get that info & even then the response was unsatisfying as was this entire experience sadly.

, we were blown away. She really exceeded our dreams for our wedding. She is super creative and has an amazing eye for style and design. She really brought to life exactly what look we had in mind. She also took care of so many details and kept me calm!
