lie Fleur for our first Valentine’s Day. In following years, he would continue to surprise me with STUNNING arrangements from the La Jolie Fleur team. When it came time for our wedding, we wanted the shop to represent the stunning live element for the day. We had been in love with the team’s style, presence, eye for detail, and the atmosphere created by their works of art. Seán, Charlie, and their team worked with us to help make our floral dream come true within our budget! When our wedding was postponed in 2020, then again in 2021, we got to know this group even more closely and grew to love their personalities and charm (who knew about “florgasms”??)! We have been so touched by the time taken by this team in an industry (weddings) that is often chaotic and extremely busy. After we decided to postpone our May 2020 wedding in March of that year, we stayed in touch with the team as we were unsure if we would be able to have a last-minute, immediate family only ceremony. Two days before, we finally confirmed with the venue that we could have an extremely small, extremely short ceremony on site, outside. I reached out to Seán and he graciously agreed to make me a bouquet and Ryan a boutonniere so that we could help make the unexpectedly different day more special. I LOVED what he was able to do on such short notice! As we approached the big day (May 2022), Seán stayed in close contact, reaching out with questions and being open to questions related to providing us with the vision we were hoping for. He helped to adjust when something I hoped to have in my bouquet was unavailable (oh Mother Nature, you fickle creature). He provided an incredible alternative, and I could not have been more in love with my bouquet!! He worked in a pearl bracelet inherited from my very special Nana, as well as a light blue ribbon to serve as my "something blue". His tips to me and my bridesmaids ("hold your bouquet by your belly button") were extremely helpful. I later had my bouquet preserved in several pieces through a resin artist, and now I get to enjoy them forever! On the day of Seán and the team worked like floral fairies to create their art pieces throughout our venue. From our bouquets, to the front door, to the cake and card table, even to the dried lavender and apples (which were the talk of the day), every single piece was stunning. Even the venue owner, who typically serves as the florist at the venue, admired La Jolie Fleur’s gorgeous work. I adore looking through photos as I get to relive how everything looked and felt on the big day! We have continued to utilize La Jolie Fleur to surprise our mothers for holidays and birthdays, as well as a thank you to our parents for supporting our favorite day ever. Even after moving to Delaware, we continue to call our friends at the shop to place orders to our Worcester- local family members.
