Beth and the whole La Pera crew were such a delight to work with! They were professional, experienced, and well prepared for any and all issues! The food was beautiful but more importantly it was absolutely fantastic.

La Pera made our wedding a memorable and savory event for all of our guests. The food was amazing, service was seamless, and the coordination ahead of the event left no detail to spare. Beth and her team are truly incredible and I highly recommend booking them for any event. Beth and her team at La Pera were, in a word, astounding. From the moment we met at the tasting, we could tell they were going to take the time to create something custom and unique for our wedding. We felt that she listened to our needs and was very easy and flexible when we wanted a different option or needed to change something. On the day of, her team was very efficient with their time and were very willing to work around our venue's needs in regards to set up. The staff was very caring and attentive to our guests, and it was apparent that they put a lot of love into their work. The overall presentation of our food was stunning, and guests could not stop complimenting the food. We will be dreaming about that meal for the rest of our lives! Beth was a wonderful person to work with for such a stressful occasion, as she made it easy and comfortable to make decisions and work through various options. La Pera catered our wedding and the food, drinks, and presentation were INCREDIBLE. We wanted something delicious and special, and La Pera really delivered. We did a buffet style for ~50 people, cocktail bites, limonada (including a boozy version behind the bar), and a dessert table with lots of mini bites. They also made us a special version of the cheesecake for us to cut. Working with the team was such a smooth process as well, they made sure we had all the info we needed and were happy ahead of time. The presentation was gorgeous as well. We had many people come up to us/tell us later that it was the best meal they've had at a wedding!

We loved working with LaPera for our wedding event. The quality and authenticity of the food is what stood out to us above everything when we were making our decision. LaPera has a unique menu and makes most of the food onsite. From their homemade tortillas to creative drinks, they take that extra step to create a menu that is more than just your average Tex-Mex They made the planning phase easy and working with Beth was wonderful. We appreciated their flexibility and approach for personalization. We really wanted to have a fajita family style package and they were willing to make it a reality for us. We loved the atmosphere for our tasting and their willingness to incorporate our tasting notes. La Pera was one of the first vendors we got onboarded. They were proactive in the planning process and would solicit information as opposed to us constantly following up with them. They were great at responding to our emails and setting up phone conversations. They helped us strengthen our vision for the dinner and helped give suggestions for rentals that would tie nicely with the theme. We appreciated their open communication and clear expectations of what they needed from us. They were exceptional during the day of the wedding, they set up on time, food was served warm and the staff was friendly. Our guests praised the food and continued to talk about it months later. We especially enjoyed finishing the leftovers throughout the week after our event. We could not recommend them more.

The food was outstanding! We tried numerous caterers in the Austin area and La Pera was, by far, the most unique, original and flavorful. We requested Spanish-style cuisine to be served family style, and they offered many surprising dishes to choose from (the cabbage was amazing!) in addition to traditional staples like patatas bravas. Speaking to our guests after the wedding, we heard numerous times that the food was considered outstanding. We'd highly recommend them for the food. In looking at the 1 star reviews, they both note poor communication from La Pera in the early stages. We would agree that communication was a challenge at times early on, but once we got things squared away they showed up and delivered on the big day. Definitely would recommend.

La Pera is awesome to work with. Their food tastes amazing, and they present it beautifully. They were very accommodating of requests, as we custom-requested a nutella banana empanada and a honey chipotle butter chicken biscuit. Our wedding day was a dream, and the food La Pera prepared for us was equally memorable.

They ghosted me after two revisions of the quote! Do not waste your time! I wasted a month on them when i could have went with another caterer. I scheduled two meetings for which they did not show up to. I took off work/left work early for both of those meetings and they obviously dont care. Horrible service!!!

We were so excited to book La Pera and they ghosted us after asking for two contract edits. They could have simply told us their agreement could not be altered and we probably would have still signed as we loved the food. Our Venue reached out as well in attempt to help us get a hold of someone and they never responded to them either. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

La Pera is always supportive to my event planning team and appropriately reactive to the inevitable changes that occur on event day. La Pera brought our wedding dinner dreams to life!! We wanted an informal yet formal meal with tacos. They absolutely delivered. Their tacos are absolutely delicious; the food presentation is gorgeous; the team is helpful and diligent. My husband and I would choose them again in a heartbeat, and you should definitely choose them!!

We absolutely loved having La Pera cater our wedding! Not only were their food and cocktails delicious, but their team was organized, efficient and ON POINT. Alex and Brittan were so amazing day of, making sure everything went off without a hitch. We had a few unique requests such as cocktail table service, specific drink orders, etc., and they were so easy to work with. We highly recommend La Pera to anyone looking for a caterer!

La Pera were the masterminds behind creating and delivery the most extraordinary gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free menu for our Laguna Gloria wedding. Every one of our guests were completely floored by the catering and bar and still can’t stop telling us how much they loved it (especially the prickly pear paloma!). They went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs with such ease and style. The food was spectacularly flavorful, original, and satisfying (e.g. chili-rubbed salmon, paella, brisket bolinho). The honey lavender goat cheese balls went so fast that our photographer only got a picture of the toothpicks! La Pera’s full-service staff handled every aspect of our reception seamlessly and gracefully. We would work with them again in a heartbeat!

This food is some of the best food I’ve ever had. Not to mention, the cocktail concoctions! Do not look any further than La Pera. Our guests have been raving for months now on the food and drinks at our wedding. Their staff was also so wonderful and helpful! I don’t think there was a single hitch in the day. If you want good food that creates an atmosphere in and of itself, pick La Pera!

We had the pleasure of having La Pera cater our micro wedding. Without a doubt, the food we served at our wedding was the most talked about element. The food La Pera serves speaks for itself - the dishes our unique and flavorful, yet received SO well from a crowd which had both adventurous and pick eaters! The team at La Pera went above and beyond and worked tirelessly on our day to make sure our guest were well taken care of. As for my husband and I, the team completely spoiled us, constantly making sure we had food in front of us and a drink in our hands. I am SO glad we found them and cannot recommend them enough!

We recently celebrated our wedding in Ausitn, TX and hired LaPera for catering and bar services. THEY KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. On the day of, the staff was friendly, timely, and our guests couldn't say enough nice things about how delicious the food was or how amazing the drinks were. We worked with LaPera to create a custom menu that incorporated food from each side of our families (lumpia, pierogis) that they used from local shops. In order to promote additional safety measures, we worked with LaPera to have chef-attended food stations (food fest style) and serve passed appetizers. They created these cute 'jarcuterie' cups to serve their famous LaGraza board but individual style. Our guests LOVED this. They were also very accommodating with any food allergies and dietary restrictions that we provided for our guests. For our main courses, we had a perfectly crisp but juicy salmon and a mouth-water short-rib with purple potato mash that our guests still talk about today. Honestly, one of the best meals we've ever had and we are so glad we actually got to enjoy the food at our wedding! They also provided us 'to-go' boxes for us to eat after the fact. For the bar, we had a signature cocktail 'Make your own Gin and Tonic' that had multiple tonic options and fresh berry/fruit/herb additions that you can customize for your drink order. It was a hit! We also were able to serve this in a mocktail format for those guests who do not / or were unable to drink. Would definitely recommend them for bar services as well since it's such a seamless experience! We absolutely loved the taste and service the day of! We did have a few issues with communication - with the pandemic and a few other things (as most places were this past year and a half) - we did not receive as timely of a response as we were looking for, but we were able to work together and get everything sorted out before the big day! La Pera catered my wedding on 4/17/21 and it was a 10/10. They are a dream to work with! After our destination wedding was cancelled in Mexico, we still wanted a Latin flare to our wedding and La Pera delivered!! The food was off the charts good and their cocktails were an absolute hit with our guests. Seriously, we ran out of whiskey because the old fashions were SO GOOD (everyone was talking about them). Their staff was professional and kept our guests happy all night. The process of working with the team on the menu was easy. They also created our menus, table numbers, and bar signs and y'all... THEY NAILED IT! They took inspiration from my wedding invitations and really added a cool design to the overall look of the wedding. Look no further, please book La Pera for your event. Working with La Pera was so easy and they were so accommodating from staffing, bartending, rentals & the amazing food. Presentation was beautiful from the appetizers to dinner & dessert. They worked so well with the other vendor team and service was top notch. Would recommend to any that loves food and needs a full service caterer for their wedding, La Pera is one of a kind!

Bethany and team were amazing! We held a 5-course dinner with wine pairings for our wedding and they knocked it out of the park. They created a beautiful custom menu based on our story and created appetizers that were fun and playful. They executed on site and used fresh ingredients that shined through. On top of that, the service was amazing. The presentation of the dish was beautiful and they captivated the audience by sharing their inspiration behind each dish. The servers were fun to engage with during dinner, creating a warm and inviting enviroment, from bartender / somm, to servers, to chefs. We felt like they were part of our group. I cannot wait to have a reason to work with them again for another event!!

My husband and I got married back in March 2020 and La Pera catered our wedding. We were extremely happy that we chose La Pera! For one, the food was incredible. Every dish was super fresh, colorful, unique, and delicious. We got so many compliments on the food. Even now, many months later, guests still talk about the food. Also Lisa and the rest of the La Pera team were awesome to work with. We were somewhat high maintenance and had a lot of questions, specific needs and requests, and a budget that we wanted to stay within. Throughout the whole process La Pera, especially Lisa, were incredibly accommodating and patient. Thank you Lisa! Not only were Beth and Lisa the best team to work with, they really customized our love of food into our wedding. They communicated with us really well. Not only did they include the food but also the silverware, linens and favors for our guest. They also did a custom menu and bar menu. Their signature cocktails list is to die for. Hire them!! La Pera catered my wedding early 3/2020 and did an incredible job. When we first contacted La Pera as a potential vendor, they were friendly and accommodating to the wide range of dietary restrictions (some people are vegan and others are meat and cheese people). They put together a gorgeous tasting menu and worked with us as we went through to design our wedding's menu that fit our taste and our budget. They were kept in contact through our year of planning., being very flexible as a few needs changed, and when the day came, CRUSHED it! They were very attentive to each guest and as well as my new husband and I. Everyone loved their custom cocktails, apps, dinner, and latte night snack. I could not recommend this group more.

Oh man, the praises I could sing about La Pera. We fell in LOVE with the many tastes and textures of their food - their menu ideas are so unique and delicious; I was dreaming about our wedding day brunch menu for months after our tasting. The team is thoughtful and responsive and was incredibly helpful in making our day special, including bottling their incredible salsa for favors and helping personalize small details, like a boudain fritter tower in place of a groom's cake. Friends and family raved about their food and my partner and I found ourselves looking forward to leftovers when we had a few guests not be able to make it last minute. All this to say - please book with La Pera. Their team and work is incredibly special and unique, and they contributed more to the overall vibe of our wedding than I could have ever believed possible. You will love them!

We loved working with La Pera! Our wedding guests all loved the food (as did we!), and they were the nicest and most communicative vendor we worked with. The menus was incredible, and every dish (and drink!) fantastic. Will absolutely hire again next time we need catering!

La Pera did an excellent job for our wedding!! We had a previous caterer go out of business literally three days before our wedding, and La Pera was recommended to us. They were able to step in last minute and create a menu that aligned perfectly with our overall vision. Our guests were raving about the food, and the specialty cocktail (prickly pear Paloma). They turned a disaster into a perfect dinner. All of the staff were excellent as well!
