a gorgeous floral arch for the ceremony (which we repurposed as a sweetheart table backdrop), and centerpieces for the guest tables. She also added some decorative greenery to the dessert table and photo booth, which was such a nice touch.
One of my favorite details was something really special she helped put together for my husband—his boutonniere was attached to a small photo of him and his mom, tucked into his front pocket. It was such a sentimental touch, and I loved that she made it happen.
Now, full transparency—the first consultation? Not my favorite. The images she showed me felt a little random (think Amazon finds and stock photos rather than an actual portfolio). The conversation also moved a little too fast for me, and as someone who isn’t fluent in floral design, I felt a bit overwhelmed. I actually considered switching florists, but my planner reassured me that she knew her stuff and would deliver exactly what I was looking for. And honestly? She did.
By the time the wedding day rolled around, she and her team were in full-on stealth mode—setting up everything without a hitch. I remember seeing her crew hustling before I walked down the aisle, and then I didn’t see them again until they came back at the end of the night to break everything down. Seamless execution.
Would I recommend her? Absolutely. If you’re looking for a bridal florist who delivers great work at a fair price, she’s a solid choice. My advice?

nd La Petite Fleur and the owner, Carra Otten and I emailed back and forth a few times, I sent her my idea for my flower crowns (no traditional flower bouquets or centerpieces, just 3 flower crowns and 3 boutonnieres) and she sent me a bill via PayPal. That's it. I didn't see any examples, just trusted that the pics I saw on her website were authentic and I must say, I WAS SO IMPRESSED. My sister picked up the flowers on the day of the wedding, I put on the flower crown once my hair was done and WOW! I felt like a princess. he planning was really difficult for me. Carra was clearly very knowledgeable but she might as well have been speaking a different language while trying to describe her vision for the wedding. She was very patient with my questions and uncertainty. I was encouraged by my wedding planner to simply let Carra be the artist and allow her to use her skills and just trust her and I am just SO glad that I did. but somehow -- probably by witchcraft or magic -- Carra not only delivered exactly what the insanely picky grooms asked for, but gave them the flowers of their dreams. Honestly, I have never, ever seen arrangements done with such care and thoughtfulness (i.e. she tied each centerpiece into a bouquet so the local quests could take them home. I mean, who does that??). What is equally crazy are the prices. For the quality, care, and creativity she gives you, you'd expect to pay thousands of dollars more. You SHOULD be paying thousands of more dollars -- and you don't! Do yourself a favor: Hire La Petite Fleur and touch greatness!

Carra never once made us feel like just another client. She made us feel so special. I don't know much about flowers and I was very unsure of what I even wanted. I had a basic idea and a budget range which Carra took and ran with it and our wedding was so beautiful. I was overwhelmed by the bouquets and the center pieces. We had about 4 different center pieces scattered throughout our LARGE reception area, and she was able to tie the whole thing together perfectly. I was blown away when I walked into the reception! We eventually landed on a Classy/Mexican inspired theme to incorporate some of my family heritage while also keeping it tasteful and fun. Throughout the year Carra would send me pictures of things we could incorporate into the wedding, and with each email she sent I would get more and more excited for the big day. I honestly didn't expect such service from a florist, but now I tell all my recently engaged friends that they have to find a florist that is as awesome as, if not, La Petite Fleur.
Fast forward to our big day on June 29th, and I am still in awe of how beautiful everything was. Carra and Jessica did such an extraordinary job bringing the vision to life. Family and friends still talk about how gorgeous all the arrangements were, and I couldn't agree more.
To top it all off, Carra and Jessica from La Petite Fleur will work their magic to make your vision come to life no matter what your budget. How can you beat that?

She also did a great job of using the decorations we provided (photo frames with pictures of us in them) in a way that looked cohesive with the floral pieces. rvous, or scared about how things would turn out when it came to the flowers for my wedding. Carra exuded confidence and artistic flare. She was also very responsive to any email or phone call I had. She had me complete a survey about my style, taste, flower ideas, colors, etc. before our initial consultation appointment. At the initial appointment she came to the meeting prepared with ideas, pictures, color schemes, etc. to help gauge to see if we were on the same page. It showed she was already excited to share with me her ideas and thoughts. I especially liked that and one of the top reasons I chose La Petite Fleur. Carra had great ideas for centerpieces, reception decorations, church decorations, etc. She was very helpful and accommodating to any requests that I had wanted. I never felt pressured or that I was a burden my requests. I think the icing on the cake was when I emailed Carra around 6 am on the morning of my wedding requesting extra corsages for programs attendants and greeters at the church. She had about seven extra made and had them delivered to the church by noon. It was great! :) I also liked how she labeled all the boutonnières and corsages for all the groomsmen, fathers, mothers, grandparents, ring bearer, greeters, readers, program attendants, etc. That made things easy and simple. I also loved my bouquet as well as all the bridesmaids’ bouquets. I was truly impressed with Carra and her true professionalism and dedication. I am very happy and pleased how everything turned out!
