On the day of the wedding, they arrived on time and took care of hair and makeup for six people in an efficient way while making sure everyone was happy with their look. Viktoriya took the time to redo my mom's makeup, and Amy was my saving grace when I threw a curveball at her and asked for her help to create a traditional South Asian bridal look. I have thinner hair so I was nervous how this was going to turn out but she was able to execute an updo that made my hair look very full and was very elegant (not overly curly or "perm" like. She takes great pride in her work and understands the intricate dance between photographers coming in and the wedding itself. It was effortless to have her do my hair.

Not only that, but she was also willing to travel to my hotel room to help me and my wedding party get ready at 4:15 AM (on her birthday, no less!). And when COVID-19 forced us to change our date, she was extraordinarily flexible and understanding. The work she did on my wedding day was even more beautiful than the trial. Her professionalism, skill, and talent are unparalleled. (Plus, I took a nap between the wedding and the after party, and my hair DID NOT MOVE while I slept.) I’m beyond thrilled with her work. I wish I had another occasion coming up so we could work together again. In addition to Amy, I hired La Sabrina’s makeup artist Oana to do my wedding makeup without even getting a trial first. I’d had a disastrous experience with a different artist a few weeks prior, and I hadn’t budgeted money to do a second trial, so I wasn’t sure how to move forward. Then, during my hair trial, I watched Oana do another girl’s makeup for her wedding, and I was absolutely sold. She’s professional, kind, and “wants to make people feel good on the inside and the outside.” She’s also a nurse and made sure to explain the products she was using and double-check with me about skin allergies before we got started—a HUGE plus for someone like me with sensitive skin. Oana’s work perfectly fit the natural look I was going for. She color-matched the lip color I wanted based on a worn-down lipstick I dug out of my purse. She taught me how to cry without ruining my makeup, which came in handy at the altar later on! She also created a look for my mom, who is infamously anti-makeup, that my mom adored and didn’t want to take off at the end of the night. You would be missing out of you skipped over La Sabrina

I went to my trial and we did a down and an updo, both were beautiful. Later decided I wanted something a little different. I wanted old Hollywood. I felt very confident in Amy that I didn’t need to go to another trial. On the wedding day Amy delivered. My hair was exactly what I wanted. It was beautiful and I felt like an old Hollywood actress.

via phone/email, so finding ones that I trusted had its challenges. However, this was not the case with Amy! I was so appreciative of how she handled our postponement, and ultimately our cancellation. While I cannot comment personally on the work she does (although I can see the beautiful pictures!) I can definitely leave this rave review for her personality and professionalism!

estination wedding in Florida was one of my bigger concerns in planning. But as soon as I heard back from Amy and did a little research, I felt confident that everything would be fine. I was SO right! In working with Amy, I quickly learned that she is personable, efficient, and very skilled with hair. I think what stood out most was her ability to listen to what I wanted and apply every detail or change to my hair just as I’d hoped. I’m very particular about my hair (it needs a lot of taming) and somewhat of a perfectionist, and Amy nailed my vision for a loose, sides-wept look that felt beachy but was also refined. I would highly recommend La Sabrina Hair Design to anyone who is getting married in or around the Naples, FL area. Amy is so good at what she does.

discussion as my crazy family wanted to involve her in. My hair was beyond perfect. After the trial, we had a few issues getting my tiara to stay on and she thought about it and came to the wedding with ideas she had come up with to solve the problem. We were running late getting ready (story of my life) and she remained calm and did everything I asked her for and more. She made sure that I was happy with everything that she did and if I wasn't, she was more than happy to adjust anything. She even helped out one of my girls who we weren't even paying her for! I honestly would have hired her to just come there and be a calming presence. But since this is a hair review, guys, she's good. Like really good. Like I was told I looked like a princess (which was my goal) by multiple people good. If you still need a hair stylist, please hire her. You will thank yourself later

ne? Amy was so accommodating and helped me schedule all the appointments. Jessica did my makeup, and did an amazing job. She knows so much about makeup, especially for weddings and special events. My pictures turned out fabulously because of her flawless application. Jessica also really cares about proper sanitation with make up products and applications which is super important to me. She did my bridal party's makeup just as equally fabulous and in great time. We were all so happy with the results. While planning the wedding I got super behind and i desperately needed a cut and color. Amy squeezed me in with Christina who brought my hair back to life! Christina gave me a thorough consultation, calming any worries I had about color change right before my big day. She was super friendly, and knows so much about color and the proper haircut. She even added an Opalex treatment to help repair and give extra shine and I really did shine! I was so impressed. And finally, Miss Amy. I cannot get over how sweet and very talented Amy is! She did my up-do and helped me decide on a style that was right for me. I wanted something soft and pretty, but also secure enough to last the entire evening and withstand the humid climate. And she certainly met all my requirements. I didn't have to adjust a single strand on my big day. Amy was super patient with my bridal party and me. One of the best parts of the whole process was that Amy and Jessica came to our hotel to do our hair and makeup. It really helped ease the stress of the day. They were absolutely wonderful! Most of all, I truly admire the charity work Amy does with her salon. Blow Drys for a Cause gives a percentage of each blow dry package toward the fight against human trafficking. I'm so happy the salon I chose, not only made my wedding day more perfect, but also contributes to a very important cause. Thank you again, La Sabrina Hair Design, for making my day so special. She maintained the timeline perfectly throughout the day and her no one at any point felt rushed or like they needed anything redone. During my trial she took the time to really chat with me and understand the style I was looking for and then she went to work far exceeding my expectations! On our big day, Amy and her assistant arrived and worked with myself and my 7 bridesmaids. Each girl had a different style they wanted and Amy again went above and beyond to provide each of us with gorgeous hair :) I honestly was blown away with how beautiful each hairstyle was. It was absolutely perfect :) My hair was exactly how it was during the hair trial - I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out!
