We had them cater our wedding with a taco cart. The food was AMAZING, and we got so many compliments!!! However, we ran into some major problems with the company regarding contract...
issues. They promised things that later they refused to do. Make sure you get everything in writing, and even then, be cautious with this company. They will say anything to just get your business, but when it comes time for the event, expect them to back down on some things. Be cautious.
We hired La Taquiza for our November 2010 wedding in La Jolla because we love mexican food and wanted our East Coast guests to experience the amazingness of carne asada (steak) and...
adobado (pork) tacos. They did a fabulous job and our guests were raving about the food! A great thing about La Taquiza is that the owner, Lolita also manages an event party rental company, Exclusive Events, so we got all of our tables, chairs, plates, flatwear, linens, etc. from one person - which makes coordinating a wedding sooo much easier! I would definetly recommend using La Taquiza and Exclusive Events for your next big event!
