It was not easy finding a reception venue that fit our needs. We had exhausted a lot of the ballrooms and restaurants that we were initially interested in, though in the end did not work out. We kind of fell into La Tavola after another appo...

intment in the area. On a Thursday night, we stopped by on a whim and a server showed us the upstairs room. We stayed for dinner that night, since we had been there before and knew the food was excellent. During dinner and discussion we thought we may have just found our place. We contacted Mike Goldsmith and sat down with him a few weeks later. Over the whole process of coming up with a menu and signing a contract, Mike was very easy to work with and he was accommodating to both our needs and our budget. Our 12/7/13 wedding was held only a few blocks away at St. Leos Church so La Tavola was convenient for all our guests. And on the big day, they did not disappoint. We were thrilled and all our guests raved about the food, the drink selection, the room décor, and the high quality service. Our day-of wedding coordinators had a very easy time as well working with the La Tavola staff. Thumbs up all around. We would like to applaud Mike Goldsmith, Mike Papa, Chef Carlo and all the staff at La Tavola for making our reception better than we even dreamed. On the most important day of our lives your professionalism and high caliber restaurant really went above and beyond and we can never thank you enough.
