Vicki was so great to work with and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL! I sent her pictures of what my wedding vision was, and she brought it to life. The centerpieces were beautiful and I...
received so many compliments on my head table flowers.
They had good customer service, very nice people. However, they forgot about my babies breath runner for my wedding. They ended up putting some dry old babies breath and putting it...
together fast.I didn't get any kind of apology and I paid the same price. Luckily I had extra roses to add and that saved it some.
Vicki was a pleasure to work with. She did a wonderful job with the bouquets and centerpieces. She helped to keep my stress level down by her calm personality. Everything was super...
easy! Thanks La Tulipe!
La Tulipe is incredible. Vicki is a pleasure to work with and she immediately understood what I wanted. The end result was exactly what I pictured and more. The centerpieces were a...
bsolutely stunning and the ceremony decor was beautiful. She was very flexible and was able to work with our budget and came up with great ideas. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.
Vicki was a dream to work with. During our initial consult, she really took the time to understand what I wanted. She gave me a complete, detailed proposal with sample pictures t...
o show sizing, etc. She revised the floral plan throughout the process based on new ideas and feedback I had-including finding specific glassware based on a picture my sister found and I loved. She offered her ideas and expertise on the floral plan, and was a great resource throughout the planning process.
The final result was AMAZING. The bouquets were exactly what I pictured. There were four different centerpieces and a variety of other arrangements. The flowers were so lush and gorgeous, and perfectly done. When I saw the room, I was so happy! I knew it would be beautiful based on Vicki's talent and professionalism, but I couldn't have been happier with the final result.
Vicki is AMAZING!
We met with two different florists prior to booking La Tulipe for our wedding. First we met with Vicki, the owner of La Tulipe. The meeting was everything I ho...
ped it would be -- she worked through each piece with us, one by one. I was worried that I would have to enter the conversation with way more input than I had (I only know so much about flower arrangements), but she listened to everything I knew I wanted (color schemes, comparisons to Pinterest images I had seen, etc.) and knew exactly how to fill in the blanks for things I didn't (different kinds of dahlias? Don't know the difference. What's a dahlia? Oh there's a dahlia in all the pictures I showed you?). She was perfect. The conversation/planning process of all our pieces was so flawless. She was able to understand/figure out what we wanted each step of the way...especially when we couldn't verbalize what it was that we wanted. And when there were things that we knew we wanted (ie. I wanted orange ranunculus in July...which I didn't realize was out of season), she noted it and told us whether or not she expected a conflict with it. She also gave us a fairly accurate quote of what she expected final costs to be, and when she invoiced us a few weeks later with the actual quote, it included details that explained what went into the cost of each piece (the flowers, the colors of each flower, etc).
In brief summary, we met with The Flower Lady afterward...mostly because we had already booked an appointment (a month out! Come on man...that's almost a ridiculous wait). Our biggest complaints with them: 1) They expected us to know the exact flowers that we wanted in each piece (why are we paying you?? I can just go to a flower store on my own and arrange everything if I'm the flower expert). 2) They told me orange ranunculus were out of the question at that time of year (NEWS FLASH: Got the orange ranunculus. They were perfect). 3) The invoice they sent me for the quote was $2000 more than La Tulipe's...and they didn't detail why (ie. "Bride's bouquet...$350"...um, why? What's in it? What am I committing to?)
Vote La Tulipe.
Vicki at La Tulipe listened closely to my vision and worked with me to get the details just right. She offered great insights and fresh ideas to help me make final decisions. She w...
as also very responsive down the stretch to last-minute details and such. And the greatest part, she did it all within my budget that was discussed during our first meeting.
