such a blast! A few notes I am very outging and love performing and attention. My husband is a sweet intorvert who never performed on stage in his life. He had a lot of anxiety about this dance, and our dance instructor Anne did a fantastic job helping him learn and become more comfortable. I think she was great at building him up and also being critical when necessary to help us look good. They did a great job at creating a dance that worked for both of us and really tailored the dance to us as a couple! I picked a non-traditional song (Simply the Best by Tina Turner) and the team at La Vida totally embraced it!! I was able to be seductive and flirtatious and fun while my hubby was strong and stoic. With the package offered you also get access to many group dance classes. We were really busy with wedding planning and didn't get the chance to do any of these, but I am a little sad we missed out! Lastly, dancing together was a great bonding experience. It really helped us feel more united as a couple and was a fun activity to do together. We practiced a few nights a week on our own and I really enjoyed it. While training we were able to see a few other couples first dances and they were spectacular! It is clear to me they can tailor the dance to be as complicated or flashy as you are capable. It definitely gave me my dancing with the stars moment!
