La Vie en Rose

Violette was amazing to work with through the whole process...she was super nice and extremely responsive, and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. No wedding band comes close to La Vie en Rose, and the best part was how affordable they were (even traveling to Philadelphia) compared to our other (lesser) options. Thank you Violette!

d the money we wanted it to be the best we could get. La Vie En Rose was one of the best decisions we made as they set a fun and lively tone throughout the evening. Most importantly, La Vie En Rose had everyone out on the dance floor despite the extreme heat. The night went by so fast for both the band and our guests because everyone was having the time of their lives!

 Their song repertoire is extensive and diverse and they even learned a number of songs per our request. They played one of the best versions of “Hava Nagila” during the Hora! Every member of the seven piece band was unbelievably talented and were very interactive with the crowd. It was a pleasure working with Violette from the start. She is incredibly organized, friendly, and accommodating. Family and friends made a point to say to us how amazing the music was. The value of this band was absolutely phenomenal. Undoubtedly, I would not hesitate to recommend La Vie En Rose to anyone looking for a wedding band!

They learned one of our favorite songs to perform for the processional, and their rendition was so meaningful! During the wedding, La Vie En Rose kept the pace of the reception moving forward elegantly, and the repertoire of music was a spectacular balance between old standards, French chansons (a personal favorite), and modern dance music performed with verve and class. We had guests ranging from 15 to 85 all dancing to the same music with the same enthusiasm! Throughout the evening, guests kept coming up to me saying how impressed they were with the music and the stamina of the performers, and a few bride-to-be's even asked for their contact info for their own weddings. We will miss working with Violette and La Vie En Rose, and would recommend them so highly for any wedding.

f the prep work ourselves, we didn't really have the time to do much planning with her, but she demonstrated remarkable flexibility in getting us what we wanted as our needs changed. She was able to pull in a violinist with less than 24 hours notice to accompany the piano for the ceremony, and the two played together flawlessly. The band transitioned to jazz on the patio immediately. Several friends have offered to pitch in to bring La Vie en Rose back for a patio party next year.
