Had a blast with these girls at my trial and at my wedding!
I can’t begin to say enough great things about these ladies! They were super responsive, flexiable, and got right in on my wedding day. I looked better on my wedding day than I did...
in the trial run which a lot of people says rarely happens. Pricing was very reasonable and she was easy going about last minute changes. Would use them again in a heartbeat
I've never written a negative review before in my life but I'm hoping to help any future brides that may be considering this company for their wedding....trust the other reviews wr...
itten throughout here talking about how they showed up late. I didn't think it could happen to me, but it did! They were supposed to show up at 1:30 for my 4pm wedding....LONG story short, hair didn't show up until after 3:15. My wedding was at 4 and because of how late we got started, I didn't walk down the aisle until 4:35. I didn't get any of the pictures I wanted to beforehand, my guests waited forever for the ceremony to start (so embarrassing) and overall it was just a really bad experience. They are good at what they do but the professionalism is very much lacking. Turned out to be the best day of my life, but because of them started out super stressful as I feel like I literally ran down the aisle because I was so late.
This will be a long review. My experience with them was negative from before my trial, to the day of the wedding. A week before my scheduled trial, I was sent an email requesting t...
o reschedule since they had to do makeup at NBC studios (like that is supposed to make it okay) and wouldn’t be back in time to do my trial. So after debating, we agreed on a Saturday night appointment. When I arrived, only a makeup girl was there, Maci. While she was nice, she did not seem to be a professional makeup artist at all. When Nicole, the hair stylist arrived, she was apologetic for being late. As she was doing my hair I explained it does not tend to hold a curl and requested that if I paid her, would she come and touch, it up before my ceremony. She refused and insisted that it will definitely stay. After my hair and makeup trial, I couldn’t really see my makeup as it was dark outside and there was not good lighting in her house. I went into my car and saw the disaster that was my makeup. It looked as if I had a hard night out partying. Eyeliner smeared, face oily, eyelashes half up my eye. It was bad. I messaged Nicole who I believe owns the business as well as does the hair to let her know that I would feel more comfortable doing my own makeup for the wedding and I was unhappy with my trial. She proceeded to try to convince me otherwise blaming the poor lighting, and stating she will have her main makeup artist Melinda, do my makeup on the day of the wedding. I agreed and waited for the day to arrive. When they arrived to our hotel on the day of the wedding, Melinda was going to be “a few minutes late” As I was getting my hair done, she kept saying the makeup artist was going to be later and later due to an emergency, and kept trying to convince me to let Maci do my makeup instead. I told her no several times and let Maci proceed to do my bridesmaids makeup while I waited for Melinda. When it started becoming too late I eventually went into the bathroom and proceeded to do my own makeup (Thank God I brought it!!!!!) One by one the girls came in to tell and show me how messed up their makeup looked. I even had to fix a few of them myself as the eyeliner was smudged and no concealer was put on. Finally Melinda showed for the last 40 minutes and was able to do makeup for one bridesmaid and my mom. They both looked beautiful (which is where that second star comes in). But my other 4 bridesmaids were not so lucky. They were all questioned about money the entire time and asked who has it. I was interrupted multiple times while I was trying to do my own makeup asking the same question! I finally came out in frustration to give the money, as I payed for everyone. When I asked how much is owed, without my makeup, Nicole tried to argue with me saying that they did my makeup I had to have 2 other girls and the photographer validate this. The disrespect and rudeness Me and my girls were given is ridiculous. By the time I was done my own makeup, my hair had completely fallen as I said it would at the trial. She went through it again with curling iron quickly as I was very late and still needed to get dressed and have photos taken getting ready with my mom (which we never got since we were running so late). She insisted it will stay and that she “triple sprayed it”. By the time of my ceremony my hair had completely fallen, and by my reception it looked terrible.

me calm and put everyone at ease. I highly recommend LaBellaSposa Philly!
I give this rating a two due to consideration of time. I understand things don't go exactly as planned on the big day, but both Nicole and Melinda showed up almost 45 minutes after...
their scheduled time, as there was an issue at home. Not to mention Nicole also let my trial early, but I figured that was just a fluke.
The day of the wedding I had 5 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, a friend and myself all getting our hair done. Only 6 of us needed to be done by a certain time. We were not. I was taken last after all my bridesmaids. I was unable to get pictures with my mom because we had no time left. The party bus that I paid for was sitting outside for over an hour, waiting for us.
My makeup for the day looked great, but after the ceremony, my hair started falling out. Overall I was a little disappointed with the service, especially the consideration of time. There were pictures that I couldn't get because we Just didn't have the time. Had we started when we were supposed to I think things would have went a lot smoother.
I am not even sure how to put into words how unbelievably thankful I am for everything Nicole and Melinda did for my bridesmaids, MOB/MIL and I for my wedding this past weekend! Ev...
ery single person (all 11 of us) looked absolutely STUNNING! Some of us even rocked our last nights look for breakfast the following morning (hair & makeup) because it STILL looked that good!!! Nicole and Melinda truly put in about an 8 hour day without taking a break and made everyone look absolutely flawless. We even added one girl on to get her makeup done that day and no questions were even asked. Nicole and Melinda, I cannot thank you enough for your creativity, patience, and just overall awesome personalities. We absolutely LOVED you both and you helped make my day perfect!!! If you are looking for amazing hair & makeup for your wedding with beyond accommodating professionals, look no further! Thanks again!
THE BEST!!!! I could NOT have been more happy with the way everyone's hair and makeup turned out for my wedding! Melinda could tell exactly what I wanted and made sure my makeup ...

dding day looked amazing and all of the girls in the bridal party LOVED both their hair and makeup for the wedding. I chose to go with something completely different than what I did for my hair trial and Lindsay nailed it! Couldn't have asked for a better team for my wedding day!

e her a run for her money (she knows what she likes, what can I say!), Nicole didn't rush and did exactly what my daughter wanted. When she was done, my daughter said she looked like Cinderella and was smiling from ear to ear! Melinda did a fabulous job with makeup and made us all feel beautiful. Even my MIL who is a little particular, loved what Melinda did and I could see the happiness in her eyes. I, myself, felt like a princess! I wanted something a little different than traditional wedding makeup and Melinda nailed it without making me look overdone. The girls at LaBella Sposa are rockstars! They are professional, easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone looking for hair and makeup services!
Let me start off by saying I was absolutely in love with my trial hair and makeup! Unfortunately, on the morning of my wedding, hair and makeup were both late due to a scheduling e...
rror. When my bridesmaid called to see what was going on they told her everything was set for the following day and to check my email. So I did, and the email stated the correct date. Nicole was apologetic and left the wedding she was doing to come to my house. We had one person doing hair and one person doing makeup for 7 girls. I wanted everyone to be ready by 12 for pictures and that was not the case. We had to stop hair and makeup so we were able to take a few pictures. I know some of the girls were not happy to take pictures without makeup on. We were unable to take all of the pictures I wanted (and paid for) because the girls needed to finish getting their hair and makeup done. I was comped for my hair and one of my bridesmaids was given half off of her makeup because she put most of it on herself. Also, I had a different girl than I did at my trial doing my makeup. Thank God it turned out fine. A few girls hair started to fall out, including mine, during pictures after the ceremony. We were a few minutes late to the ceremony but that's because we stopped to take pictures when girls were getting their hair and makeup done. However, if they would have been on time and properly staffed, that wouldn't have been the case. Overall, they do a great job. My circumstance was unfortunate and I am upset this happened on my wedding day and the fact I basically have no pictures with my bridesmaids. I would recommend they start doing some sort of text or email confirmation the day before so this type of mix-up doesn't happen to someone else.
Thank you so much to Lindsay and Za who did such an amazing job on my wedding day! I have never felt so beautiful in my life! This company is fabulous. Not only did these girls d...
o such a great job, we were able to make last minute add ons and they finished on time! My makeup and hair stayed through so many tears, sweat from dancing, and wind! They were funny, friendly, and so accomodating. The service this company provides is exceptional! Thank you so much!
Nicole and Melinda did hair and makeup for the bridal party and me recently and I cannot thank them enough. As I watched all the girls get beautified, I got more and more excited!...
They are truly the best! Nicole's ability to create a hairstyle based on a picture is unreal, we were all thrilled. The make up that Melinda did for me was a little different than the trial, by my request... and she nailed it! Not only did I look amazing (If I may say so myself...) it stayed all night... and it was raining! I just looked at a picture that was taken during the final song at our wedding and my make up still looked flawless --- as did my hair! Thank you SO MUCH ladies. You are both so talented, not to mention fun to hang out with on a wedding morning! :) **If you want to look and feel amazingly gorgeous on your wedding day... and into the after party... BOOK THEM!!!
I am so incredibly pleased to have had Nicole & Melinda do hair and makeup at my farm wedding. They were so fun, professional, and accommodating for our very large group (bride + h...
air extensions, 2 moms, 5 bridesmaids, and a surprise visit from my grandma). We all got false lashes, airbrush makeup, and hair services and looked AMAZING. I've never seen my friends and family look so dang good. I was especially excited that Melinda (makeup artist) was so knowledgeable about skincare - she was able to perfectly do makeup for one of my bridesmaids with rosacea, and had an amazing eye for picking out lip colors that were flattering for everyone. Nicole created some gorgeous hairstyles for my bridesmaids, mothers, and even my grandma - who all have very different hair. We loved having them hang out with us the morning of my big day and wouldn't hesitate to book them again for another event. You definitely won't regret it - Nicole & Melinda are the best around.

p my trial to my wedding day, Nicole was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. When I met them both in person they were so great to work with, really listen to what you want, and do everything they can to make your vision reality. My girls and I had so much fun with them the morning of my wedding, and they made us all look and feel beyond beautiful. I've never felt more beautiful than I did that day and I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. My only complaint is that I can't keep working with them everyday because they were the best, and I don't think I'll ever look as good as I did on my wedding day :) I would definitely recommend anyone work with them as I believe they give you the best value for their amazing work.
These ladies are awesome!! I had hair and make up done for a wedding recently! Very reasonable! I will be using them for my wedding coming up!!
Nicole (hair) and Courtney (makeup) were both great! I had my initial hair trial then changed by mind on how I wanted by hair done and made a second trial. Nicole is so talented,...
and really listened to what I was asking for. She was so patient and willing to try numerous different styles. Courtney also did my makeup beautifully. On the day of the wedding, I made a few modifications in what I wanted from the trial, and she listened and did my makeup perfectly! All day long I just kept saying how beautiful I felt and how happy I was with my hair and makeup! My bridesmaids who got their hair and makeup done were also all extremely happy with their outcomes. I definitely recommend them for hair and makeup! I had a great experience and outcome!

LaBellaSposa Philly did a great job on the hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids, flower girl, and the mothers of the bride and groom. We looked great and everyone was pleased.

Nikki and Briana were absolutely amazing! They did such an awesome job with my hair and makeup as well as my 5 bridesmaids. They showed up on time to our hotel and everyone looked...
beautiful. Briana also saved the day by doing my mom's makeup last minute after she had a terrible experience elsewhere earlier that day.
Thank you for making my wedding day perfect!
Nothing but good things to say about Labellasposa. Professional, down to earth and very accommodating.

art of the most amazing day of my life. Without them (and John Legend on repeat) I don't know how I would have made it through. They were able to add more people to my hair/make up list on the fly which will make for amazingly perfect picture.
I must say that Nicole made a believer out of me...a bride can wear her hair in curls without them falling out. Thank you again ladies for making my dreams come true :)
Thanks!
Mrs. Stabilito :)

ob from my trial to the day of my actual wedding. All of my bridesmaid looked amazing and their hair stayed in place all night through LOTS of dancing! My hair and makeup were flawless. They lasted through several tears, lots of dancing, and lots of laughter. I was shocked at how put together I still looked when I finally got back to my hotel room after the Afterparty!!! Thanks so much ladies!!!! - I wish I had another event coming up so I could get all dolled up by LaBellaSposaPhilly again.
While the owners were great and my make up was amazing, they showed up over 3 hours late making me 45 minutes late for my wedding. The woman who did my hair was a disaster. My hair...
fell out even before the ceremony began and the veil was not put in correctly and blew away at the church. Trust me and find another vendor, I am sorry Nicole but because of their mistakes I lost a full hour of my wedding that I can never get back.
I would like to address some of their comments. We agreed on 11am when I booked, I never cried or yelled at anyone despite a phone call telling me either they do my hair now or not at all, my other vendors except my cake people did a great job (Gary Nevitt best photographer ever!), my MOH was not yelled at and she came (I have photos to prove it), my nana was never at the hotel for anyone to have woken her, they did not show up to do anyone's hair until about 1:30 (note my wedding was at 5pm so even with noon that was still plenty of time). Long story short they messed up and didn't try to make amends. I am not crazy or hard to please. I have beautiful wedding photos that are ruined by a hot mess of a hair do that didn't even last until the beginning of the wedding. I am easy going and we could have resolved this offline, but their unprofessionalism leads me to take it to this level.
Again, I will add it was not a total loss. The makeup women were wonderful, she took the time to listen to what I wanted my makeup was flawless. But for them to stoop to the level of a response full of lies is not only defamation, but slander as well.
Highly recommend for wedding hair and makeup. Professional and punctual!

nished by noon, in time for pictures and to get to the church on time. Nicole and Jaclyn were a lot of fun and awesome to hang out with the morning of the wedding. Having LaBellaSposa come to us was so much more relaxing than making sure everyone got to the salon on time and then home in time to get dressed. Everyone commented on how nice it was just to be in one spot. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in getting their hair or make-up done for any occasion.
