They sent out a questionnaire to gather more details about us, and our plans for our wedding day, to ensure they coordinated with and around the schedule. They also sent us a timeline detailing when and where the wedding party needed to be for pictures throughout the evening. By doing that, they lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders, that was one less thing I had to plan. The day of our wedding, they coordinated with our DJ/special effects team, as well as the organizer and all of the wedding party to make sure everything ran smoothly and stayed on course. Lace + Honey exceeded went above and beyond (quite literally - with drone footage) to capture the most perfect footage for our wedding video! Our experience with them was nothing short of amazing and I will always recommend them. We LOVED having Lace and Honey do our photography and last minute videography! Katherine was so fun and easy to communicate with! She really made us feel at ease. We got married the week that covid hit and our wedding turned upside down. Not only did she stick with us, but she helped us make changes to our timeline AND Justin ended up doing Videography for our ceremony since we had to let our original videographer go due to covid. Our pictures were beautiful and everyone was very impressed with them! Some needed minor lighting editing and she went the extra mile for us!

I cried watching all the videos on their website and instantly fell in love with their work. They put us at ease by giving us a checklist of items to remember for our wedding day and also created a complete timeline which timed out the day perfectly. Katherine chose the best spots to capture all our special moments with the best lighting -- she truly is a professional at what she does! One thing that really stood out to us about Katherine was the fact that she wanted a relationship not just business. She wanted to make sure she understood our personalities and taste in order to capture them in the best way possible. Our pictures and highlight video couldn’t be more perfect in showing raw emotions, our vibe and true personalities of myself, husband and all our wedding guests. There is nothing I appreciate more than someone paying close attention to detail - Katherine & Justin are the epitome of just that! They are extremely talented and make the memories come to life! Every-time I watch our video I can’t help but tear up and smile. My husband & I can’t thank them enough for giving us these special treasures to reflect back on for the rest of our lives. Picking a photographer for your wedding day is always a difficult situation. You want someone who can capture that day and those special moments. The day goes by soooo fast sometimes you forget to really soak it all in! When I called Katherine at Lace + Honey photography, I knew I wanted her to be that person!! She is so easy to connect with, she is very knowledgeable, and you can tell she absolutely has so much passion for her work! She made this part of wedding planning that much easier for us! She not only captured our wedding photos perfectly, but also our engagement photos. She helped us set up a timeline for the big day, because let’s be real, I’ve never wedding planned, I didn’t know exactly what I was doing, but she helped throughout the process. She communicated and was very responsive to any questions we had. On a budget? We were too!! && we were not only able to purchase the wedding photography package, but the videography package as well. And let me tell you.. I am obsessed on how her husband, Justin, created our wedding video. I cry EVERY single time I go back and watch it. Worth every penny!! Can’t say enough good things about Justin and Katherine! I am a little camera shy and they made my husband and myself feel so beautiful and comfortable the whole time! They went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the shots I wanted while also leading me in the right direction! By the time I woke up the next day after my wedding I already had a sneak peak of some of some of the photos. Every photo I have seen has been breathtaking! Justin and Katherine were so easy to work with, and they made all of my photography dreams come true! Katherine and Justin were so great through the whole wedding process. We did our engagement photos on a rainy day, I was so worried about the weather. These photos turned out phenomenal, great lighting, and background. This was also our first set of professional photos in the 9 years we had been together and she knew how to make us feel comfortable and not posed/unnatural. My husband and I were slightly clueless to how the timeline of the wedding should flow and Katherine took the time to help me come up with a plan and gave me great suggestions. Her communication is absolutely amazing! I never had to wait for a response. On the day of the wedding she was prompt and worked so well with everyone at our venue. Our wedding party can be a handful and are hard to keep focused and she did amazing. It actually seemed easy for her! Our wedding photos are gorgeous. She got them to us as promised in the allotted timeline (actually earlier than we expected). I would highly suggested her for anyone seeking a skilled photographer and videographer for your wedding. We actually still keep in contact because she is so personable.

Listen... I promise you, you will not be disappointed when you hire this power couple to be your photographers for whatever event it may be, i.e engagement photos or wedding photos. Lace and Honey did both our engagement and wedding photos. The engagement photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and Katherine even traveled to our destination where we wanted to have these pictures done. We received the photos pretty quickly after the engagement sessions and so many people complemented on how beautiful they were. Katherine and Justin were able to capture the most important day of my life. Katherine was there for me every step of the way on my wedding day. If I wanted a picture of something or someone, she did not hesitate to jump in and capture a picture. I am in awe of how beautiful our wedding photos are. If you are looking for photographers, look no further than Katherine and Justin. You will not find a morning responsive, caring, or professional pair. Katherine and Justin shot our engagement shoot in June and we quickly received the photos. The day of the shoot was very emotional for me due to a series of unfortunate events (wardrobe, hair, and make up malfunctions, etc.). However, as soon as we arrived on location, all of the stress melted away. It was so much fun to shoot with them and they were open to taking shots of my fiance doing some of our favorite activities (dancing and reading). I love my engagement photos! They truly reflect our personality. Tip: Take a bit of time and really read the Styling Guide they send out. It's full of awesome information that makes the shoot go smoothly. The last tip is to go on a date after the shoot. Going out to dinner and drinks after the shoot was a really great way to end the day. We cannot wait to have Katherine and Justin shoot our wedding next year!

Wow! I don't even have the words to describe just how wonderful Katherine and Justin are! Katherine is so responsive and responds so quickly when you have any questions! They were so helpful and flexible throughout the planning and execution of the wedding. They traveled several hours to our wedding in Hilton Head, and I know they like to travel in general so they are available in many locations. We had an interfaith wedding, and Katherine and Justin were so excited and helpful in the process of planning and executing the many different wedding traditions throughout our wedding. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! Everyone had such a blast dancing to the playlist that they played and even took requests from guests. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was throughout 3 different areas at our location, and the transfer of the music and photography was quick and seamless throughout every transition. I don't know how they managed such perfection throughout the day, but we never felt a single moment of stress and I know this was due to their amazing work. Katherine was by our sides all day taking gorgeous pictures of every moment. We are thrilled with our sneak peeks and are so excited to see the remainder of the pictures from our special day! I highly recommend this team to help with all of your wedding day needs from photography to dj to videography. Their teamwork was beyond all expectations, and we are so incredibly thankful.

Lace & Honey did a amazing job on my daughters wedding in April of 2019. They were both easy to work with, and very artistic with their work. We just received the video they did, and were blown away by the little added features I didnt even know about. There was a drone fly by overhead of the wedding venue that was such a surprise. The audio of the preacher was perfect, and the groom and bride reading notes to each other in seperate rooms brought a tear to the eye. WELL DONE.. Let Lace & Honey take care of your event. Lace & Honey exceeded all our expectations and more. The talent and professionalism between JR and Katherine is absolutely incredible. We have never felt more beautiful then seeing how they captured us on film and pictures. This is our first and especially not our last time we will be using them. Katherine & Justin did a fantastic job with our wedding photos and video. We had never been photographed professionally prior to the wedding day, so I was nervous that we would be awkward, but they made it so comfortable & casual. And the pictures are beautiful! We originally did not think we wanted a wedding video, but we are so glad to have it now. The ceremony flew by and it is wonderful to have a recording of our vows. If you are looking for a photographer who does incredible work and is affordable then hire Katherine! After getting engaged, I spent several weeks searching for a photographer who was not only talented, but reasonably priced. I found Katherine on Facebook and decided she would be a great fit for me when it came to price and style, not to mention she was the nicest photographer I had spoken to and she gave us a Law Enforcement discount for my future hubby who is a Deputy Sheriff (so sweet)! I hired Katherine for my engagement photos and she went above and beyond what I was ever expecting. She is so passionate about her job and it definitely shows!
