Greta discovered her love for floral design during her teenage years. She has always been fascinated by flowers, and it was in High School where she realized that she wanted to fashion arrangements for a living. Going on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture, she began plying her trade as a local florist. This professional experience allowed her to develop her creative and customer service skills. Eventually gaining the confidence to establish this business, she delights in crafting attractive arrangements for soon-to-be wedded couples.

Our florals were amazing! Greta really captured my vision and made it come to life!
Greta was an absolute joy to work with! Her work is beautiful and I could not recommend her more. I wanted whites and greens, simple colors that complement the natural beauty feel of our venue, and she nailed it. We were so happy with how everything turned out!

I'm so glad I went with Greta for my wedding florals. I told her general colors I wanted and she chose amazing flowers that fit my vision. Her price was fantastic compared to other vendors, and I got so many compliments on the bouquets, ceremony flowers, and centerpieces. Greta was wonderful to work with, she is very thorough and listens to every small detail you tell her. Although, I had a lot of do not want flowers in my arrangements and was not sure how she was going to make the wedding look beautiful, she outdid herself. I could not have asked for a better florist. Greta was an absolute JOY to work with from beginning to end! I showed her a few pictures and my pinterest board, we went back and forth a little to determine exactly what I was looking for, and she ended up going above and beyond my expectations!! She brought our bouquets to the bridal suite and I immediately fell in love. Everything was exactly what I had visioned. I can't say enough about how stunning our altar arrangement was either...our guests also could not stop talking about it! I couldn't recommend Lace and Peonies enough. She will not disappoint :)
Greta was an absolute dream to work with! Communication was super smooth throughout, and she was very prompt in responding to our questions and messages. Overall, the flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and my bouquet was stunning. Almost every person who sees the photos or saw the flowers in person commented on how beautiful they were. Not only were the flowers outstanding, but Greta was also fantastic at working with our budget and the size of our wedding (as we had a very small and intimate ceremony). Throughout the planning process and reaching out to several florist several of them would not work with us because what we wanted was too little, and just because we did things in an untraditional manner didn’t mean we shouldn’t still have beautiful floral arrangements for our big day. So we were very lucky to find Greta and truly thankful that she made our floral dreams come to life!

She was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process, especially when I decided to completely change up the vibe and theme of the flowers I was looking to have. Greta was incredibly easy and fun to work with! She made my vision come to life and was very reliable. I only actually ended up speaking with her a few times and saw her for less than 2 minutes on my wedding day, but she was like an absolute flower fairy. I would put my trust in her for another event any day.

Greta was wonderful to work with! After our initial phone meeting, Greta only needed a few photos of inspiration to know what I was looking for, and she ran with it! She turned my vision into a reality. The florals were everything I wanted! Greta was timely with all of her responses. She delivered and arranged all my florals, including bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, floral centerpieces, ceremony florals, and a floral spray for my arch at the ceremony, beautifully on the day of my wedding. I cannot recommend her enough for your floral needs!
Greta was absolutely amazing! She was able to take me on fairly last minute, after my original florist ghosted me and left me scrambling. All I had to do was fill out a quick sheet and she instantly knew exactly what I was looking for! She made all of my dreams and visions come true, delivered and set up everything perfectly, and was super fun to work with. I highly recommend this florist, and can’t say enough good things about her!
Greta did an amazing job with our wedding flowers!! She worked with us for 7 months before the wedding to create the perfect arrangements. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique our bouquet and arbor arrangements were! The vases we bought for the aisle decor weren't exactly right, so Greta brought her own on the day of the wedding and didn't charge us any extra! She also installed everything herself! We were thoroughly impressed and I've sent my bouquet off to be preserved :)
Greta was great to work with from the very beginning. The flowers were beautiful and she even added a last minute personal touch to my bridal bouquet to make it even more special. The day of the wedding she was prompt and set up the floral arrangements and ceremony arbor quickly. They all looked beautiful and we were extremely pleased with her artistry.

Greta was so great to work with! She listened to me and everything came out perfect. After I explained what the theme of our wedding was she even picked flowers I never heard of that were so perfect for us! I have allergies to some flowers too and she made sure none of them I was allergic to were there and I had no issues the day of the wedding. Greta did a beautiful job with the flowers for my wedding! I really didn’t know what I wanted, other than deep purples and greenery. I found a few photos online of things I liked, but I basically just told her to make something nice. She went beyond what I could have imagined! Absolutely stunning arrangements. We got lots of complements. She even made some last-minute schedule adjustments for me with grace and professionalism. Beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and venue arrangements.
Greta is absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for our wedding flowers. She found the perfect colors to match what I had described only over email, and she created gorgeous arrangements and bouquets that impressed us and all of our guests. We had a fireplace mantel arrangement that turned out totally STUNNING - I wish I could've kept it forever! Greta has the perfect eye for detail and made sure everything was decorated beautifully. Greta did the flowers for my wedding on May 7th 2021. Wedding planning was hard, especially during a pandemic, but to add to that I had a very vague idea about what I wanted for flowers and Greta took my jumbled thoughts and turned them into something so beautiful!! She was incredible to work with!! She did the arbor decor and ceremony arrangements, all the bouquets (they were all wonderful, but mine was breathtakingly beautiful!!), corsages, flowers for my cake, and petals for my flower girls. She set up the arbor and it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. To watch everything come to life even better than I had pictured was an amazing feeling and I have Greta to thank for that!

Greta did my daughter's flowers for her wedding on October 9 at Historic Ashland. They were exactly what we wanted and so very beautiful. We were very happy with Greta.
I hired Greta for my 10/9/2020 wedding and my flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS! I got so many compliments. They were so full and beautiful, people thought they were fake! Greta was a breeze to work with and her prices are also very competitive. I'm a huge flower lover and gardener so flowers were a BIG part of my wedding day. Greta went above and beyond and did not disappoint! Highly recommend!
Greta was fantastic to work with! She is so easy to talk to! We never met in person until the day of the wedding due to COVID, so everything was over the phone. I sent her a couple images from pinterest and WOW when I peeked into the reception before guests arrived, it looked like I was staring at my pinterest board! I added smilax last minute to put into hanging globes and it was gorgeous! Greta understood the vision without me saying much! Everything was so beautiful – from my bouquets, centerpieces, the pergola, signage and more!!! I highly recommend using Greta for wedding flowers!
Greta did a fabulous job with the flowers for our wedding! Everything was absolutely stunning! Greta is super friendly and very easy to work with. We spoke on the phone a few times to plan things out, and she even arranged an in person meeting with my mom and I to go over things, which was very helpful! When COVID hit, Greta immediately reached out to check in and let us know she was thinking of us. I was so touched by this. It made me feel valued and not so alone in the replanning process, and I wished all of our vendors had done the same. Greta was very accommodating when we needed to reschedule and was so flexible with changing our proposal and plans with last minute changes. She quickly changed the arrangements needed when we had to change our ceremony from a church wedding to an outdoor space, and she changed up some of the reception arrangements at the last minute when we needed one less bridesmaid bouquet and a few less table centerpieces due to guests backing out. And did I mention how gorgeous our flowers were?!? Seriously, stunning! And they smelled amazing! I'm so happy we chose Lace and Peonies for our wedding flowers! Thank you for everything Greta! We loved working with you!
Greta made our day more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined! The woman is a superhero - she has the ability to read your mind and see exactly how you envision your special day to look and feel like and then she executes it perfectly. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. Our reception looked like it was pulled right off of Pinterest. All of our guests kept gushing about how it was the most gorgeous wedding they’d ever been to, and I kept telling them it was all thanks to my florist :). Her prices are very reasonable, and to be honest, I would’ve paid twice as much considering how lovely everything was. I don’t know how she found the time to make all of the arrangements she did, and her assistant and she were able to get them all displayed in record time. Trust me when I say this is the woman you want doing your flowers. 5 stars are not enough - she deserves a million! Highly HIGHLY recommend!
My daughter used Greta for her wedding flowers and they could not have been more perfect! She really understood Malia’s vision and put together the most beautiful bouquets and arbor swags. There were unique flowers that many of us had never seen before and so many guests commented on them. Greta even stayed and helped us put single flowers and greenery in bottles for the centerpieces. We would highly recommend her!
Our flowers were breathtaking and everything we wanted! It’s so amazing how you just describe it to Greta and she can make it exactly how you pictured it! She was great to work with and was super flexibile when little details needed to be changed! Her flowers really pulled everything together in our decorations and we couldn’t be happier!
Honestly, flowers were extremely low on my priority list at first. I put it off until the last minute. After looking through WeddingWire I discovered Greta. Figured I would reach out and see if she was available. THANK GOODNESS she was!!!! I did not know how much flowers mattered to me until I saw her creations at our wedding!! Literally stunning!! My husband and I met with her about 6 months before the wedding. Kind of gave her an idea of what we were looking for. She worked with our budget. The day of the wedding I was absolutely blown away when she showed up with the flowers. She brought my vision to life. The flowers were gorgeous! GORGEOUS, lush, rich splashes of color in abundance, made our daughter's happy summer wedding even happier! I have never seen a more stunning, visually engaging flower arrangement at any event I've attended, period. Greta is that good. On the ball too, timely and organized, and such a gracious person to work with. I am so impressed!
After the initial meeting, my husband and I knew Greta was perfect for the job! She is the most down-to-earth and genuine florist! I brought everything I collected and wanted to incorporate into our day to the consultation. Her creative brain went to work instantly finding ways to add the beauty of flowers into the pieces. She listened to my ideas for the bouquets and we worked as a team for the ceremony and reception spaces. The best part is that she used local flowers as much as possible. For us, coming from farming families, this was extremely important. The flowers were a "centerpiece" for our day and I continue to enjoy them a week later!

Greta did an incredible job for our wedding! She is affordable, talented, and so accommodating. We were beyond pleased with all of our arrangements and individuals flowers!
What can I say, Greta went above and beyond my expectations. She was able to recreate my wedding vision into real life. Despite me being an out of town bride and my wedding venue being a couple of hours away, Greta was always available to answer my calls or email. She is truly a professional in the wedding industry.
Greta was wonderful to work with and created absolutely beautiful arrangements for our December 8, 2018 wedding. The color palette was exactly what I had envisioned, and she even included hidden Mickeys in our arrangements to match our Disney-themed brunch. :) All of my communications with Greta were pleasant and she was very punctual with her responses. The flower arrangements that Greta prepared for my wedding were absolutely beautiful! She took the incredibly vague concept that I gave her (I literally just said "I like white flowers with lots of greens") and produced perfect arrangements that I loved. She delivered everything with plenty of time to spare, so I didn't have to spend a minute worrying about the flowers on my wedding day.

Even as a little girl I loved flowers. But I can pin point a moment the summer before my Senior year in High School as the moment I knew I wanted to learn how to create wedding flowers. I was at a Summer program at Penn State University and took a class about basic floral design. After that I just knew that floral design was for me!
I got my bachelors in Floriculture from Delaware Valley University and operate my Design business out of my farm based studio. I feel blessed to do work that I love and look forward to working with you to create the flowers of your dreams for your wedding!
