Greta discovered her love for floral design during her teenage years. She has always been fascinated by flowers, and it was in High School where she realized that she wanted to fashion arrangements for a living. Going on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture, she began plying her trade as a local florist. This professional experience allowed her to develop her creative and customer service skills. Eventually gaining the confidence to establish this business, she delights in crafting attractive arrangements for soon-to-be wedded couples.

Lace and Peonies Floral Design offers a range of services intended to ensure that the end-results satisfy your preferences. Greta operates the business out of her private studio and gives each client’s display her personal attention. She provides seasonal and locally sourced flowers and makes sure that all of her products meet expectations. Arrangement types include bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces. Committed to your comfort, she can organize the delivery and set-up of your flowers.
Even as a little girl I loved flowers. But I can pin point a moment the summer before my Senior year in High School as the moment I knew I wanted to learn how to create wedding flowers. I was at a Summer program at Penn State University and took a class about basic floral design. After that I just knew that floral design was for me!
I got my bachelors in Floriculture from Delaware Valley University and operate my Design business out of my farm based studio. I feel blessed to do work that I love and look forward to working with you to create the flowers of your dreams for your wedding!

Greta was there to answer any questions for us, was flexible with the adjustments we made closer to our wedding, and she did a beautiful job with setting everything up! She was even willing to return at the end of the night to pick up our rentals for us! absolutely gorgeous, and my bouquet was stunning. Almost every person who sees the photos or saw the flowers in person commented on how beautiful they were. Not only were the flowers outstanding, but Greta was also fantastic at working with our budget and the size of our wedding (as we had a very small and intimate ceremony). Throughout the planning process and reaching out to several florist several of them would not work with us because what we wanted was too little, and just because we did things in an untraditional manner didn’t mean we shouldn’t still have beautiful floral arrangements for our big day. So we were very lucky to find Greta and truly thankful that she made our floral dreams come to life!
