the months leading up to the wedding was such an incredible experience. I felt so stress-free and prepared for the big day. I cannot recommend Lace and Rose Events enough.

Johanna was on top of everything on our wedding day and thought of all the details so we didn't have to, which allowed us to be as present as possible. (I even noticed a coffee stain on my wedding dress right before walking down the aisle and Johanna pulled out a Tide pen from her bag like a ninja). She even stayed until the end and helped pack everything up to make sure I had all of my belongings and keepsakes. In the planning stages she was always available, flexible, responsive, and even came with me to my venue to try wines and see a space she hadn’t worked with before. Not only did she organize everything for the day of with and for me, but was a call or text away at every moment if I needed her. Waking up on my wedding day knowing that we had a plan and she would be in charge made every ounce of anxiety and stress go away, to the point we were EARLY for the ceremony and pictures at the reception. What would have been one of the most upsetting things of the day was when the icing on our cake was melting due to the humidity, resulting in the design looking terrible. MY MOH's made sure I had no idea what even happened, rushing Natalie to the kitchen to what she called "literally performing surgery" on my wedding cake to fix it so i wouldn't notice. My husband and I had NO idea what even happened until the next day. Words can't describe the thanks and gratitude we have for her help on our wedding day.

However, the structured, yet flexible guidance Natalie provided leading up to the wedding added a whole other level of value that I hadn't thought we needed until we experienced it including (1) meeting with us once a month starting 4 months prior to our wedding and (2) providing us with helpful planning worksheets which allowed us to think ahead about decisions we might not have thought about until last minute/ at all. It was SO great to have another person to pose questions to and provide advice based on her experience. Even before the actual wedding day, we felt hiring Lace and Rose Events was a great decision. On the day of the wedding, Lace and Rose Events set up all of our decor and handled every hurdle that came up while still assisting with the first look/ bridal party photos, walking the bridal party through the rehearsal, and handling last minute timeline changes due to incliment weather and missing props. The biggest assist happened during our reception. We planned to play field day games on the dance floor during rehearsal, but we realized that the props were left at the hotel. Natalie was able to coordinate with our DJ to fill time with an extra dance session while she and her team worked with an Uber driver to get the props to the venue. After they arrived, they helped our MC facilitate the games. Needless to say, our wedding turned out to be a LOT of work (more than I had anticipated needing help with), but Natalie and team were great through it all. If you are the fence about getting a day of coordinator, take this as your sign to just DO IT. It will give you such peace of mind to know someone else is there to handle things on your wedding. And hire Lace and Rose Events, because Natalie is so helpful and can 1000% handle any hiccup that comes up.

In addition to setting up, Natalie and her assistant Kaycie ensured everything goes smoothly according to the detailed timeline Natalie helped put together. After the whole day, Natalie collected everything we would keep and delivered them to us, including our check in board, guest book, etc, so we don't need to look for those after a busy day.

Thankfully, Natalie was on the scene to save the day. We were behind schedule in the morning due to things out of everyone's control, and once Natalie arrived, she got everyone back on schedule so that we would be on time for our church ceremony. There were so many different balls up in there, and Natalie was there to take care of every little detail. She was always by my side to help me with my gorgeous wedding gown (ball gown with cathedral train!) I’m lactose intolerant and forgot Lactaid pills for the day, and she had them for me. She also was there to fix my lipstick when it smudged and she kept everyone on schedule. Natalie also made our beautiful signage and did it all within our budget and on a short time frame. Natalie was even there to capture moments my photographer missed! Overall, she was fantastic to work with and we highly recommend her to any couples getting married or anyone planning an event that needs a special touch.

She took my idea of a custom seating chart and made it for us and had it printed at the printer for the day of. As much as I could rave about her skills prior to the wedding, her day of skills are even better! Natalie arrived around 2:00 pm (stayed to the end of wedding 11:30-12:00) She was bright, happy, full of energy and ready to go. She comes supplied with everything that one could possibly need last minute and we dis need to pull a few things from her back of tricks so we were so grateful for that. She worked very well with the entire hotel staff and was just amazing with the wedding party, often running between both getting ready suites to attend to both bride and groom! There was not a single hitch in the execution of the wedding the entire day, which we owe all to Natalie! She helped each vendor if needed, she erected a giant 10' and 6' backdrop for our ceremony, then helped stage our sweetheart table with a giant horseshoe we created and added up-lighting. She had a timeline for the entire day that worked out perfect, she even bustled my dress!! I can go on and on about how great this company and Natalie are. I absolutely endorse this company and HIGHLY recommend using her services, it is worth every penny and Natalie is a super human and a pleasure to work with!

It was super convenient to also share the timeline with my parents/close family members so they had an exact breakdown of what was happening every minute of the day. Lina meshed in so well with my family and bridesmaids on the day of my wedding. She was SO nice and my mom still talks about her one month later.
