This review is long overdue and beyond required. Lacey & Patrick are the definition of a dynamic duo. They are absolutely incredible at their craft and undenialable in their talent at capturing raw emotion in their photos. One of things I am most proud of was choosing Lacey as our photographer. I could not have chosen a better person to be glued to my side all day. She is patient, kind, open-minded and with our wedding, she was given a VERY tall order. We have 4 sets ofparents, very big family group photos, and a large shot list - Lacey & Patrick executed perfectly and yet were somehow able to be everywhere all at once. Every time, I look at my wedding photos - I tear up. They allowed my husband and I to continually relive our day while also being in the moment. If you make any decision for your wedding, it's to hire Lacey Gabrielle Photography. It was one of the simplest and best decisions we made.

Lacey was such a great photographer to work with! Her and her husband Patrick really made me and my husband feel at ease. She gave great pointers on what poses would translate well in photos, she never pressured us to take too many photos and was very aware of our moods and how hectic a wedding day can be, and she also was very flexible and organized leading up to the wedding, constantly communicating with us when we had questions. We now have a lifetime of beautiful memories that we can cherish because of Lacey and Patrick and we could not be more grateful!

While on the hunt for our venue, I kept coming across wedding photos on Instagram that made me stop and immediately click to see who had taken the photo. Every single time one of these photos drew me in and made me stop, it was Lacey who had taken the photo and it only took me a few photos to see the absolute magic she creates in her work. Lacey (and Patrick!) are both absolute rockstars to work with. The two of them are the kindest souls in every single way possible and I couldn’t think of a better duo to capture our love, intimate moments, not one, but two cocktail hours (with a train ride, yes train ride in between), and a big 200 person crew throughout the day. When Andrew and I first got engaged, we knew that we needed to find a photographer who was great with candid shots and would be able to capture us in the most natural way possible (especially since standing in front of a camera for a trillion shots wasn’t our jam). I remember being nervous for our photos because of how painfully awkward it can be to pose, but Lacey made us feel so at ease and allowed for the day to flow so naturally. We were in awe when she sent us the shots from the day and still, to this day, keep looking at them over and over. Lacey was nothing but patient, calm, understanding, and most importantly always giggled at my corny jokes. Her and Patrick are both the exact people you want hyping you up on your wedding day! Special shout-out to Patrick for going along with all the grooms ideas for photos too! Thank you for capturing allll the emotions that day. We adore you and could not be more grateful. She is talented beyond belief and an absolute gem of a human being to work with!!

Where do I even begin?! Lacey is the best!! Not only is she extremely talented and made our day very special, but she is also kind, real, and genuine! You want and need to work with her for your wedding day! We weren't going to do a first look, but two weeks before my wedding we ended up making a switch and Lacey was extremely helpful. We had the exact same thoughts on everything. She is the perfect match for us! Truly can't say enough amazing things about working with Lacey! We are so excited to see pictures!

Lacey and her husband Patrick are the ultimate photography team! They are real, warm, genuine people and make it fun to smile so hard all day for your wedding. Lacey is very easygoing but also task oriented - she makes sure to get all of the shots you requested without making it feel tedious! Lacey and Patrick were absolutely terrific and our photos are just beautiful- bright, crisp and in varied settings and poses. They are extremely talented and organized- and I would 10/10x recognize that you hire Lacey for your upcoming engagement/wedding photography needs!

Absolutely loved working with Lacey!! And that says a lot for two people who generally hate taking photos. I knew we made the right choice going with Lacey when we left our engagement photo shoot and said to each other how fun it was. And on top of it - the photos came out better than I could have imagined! Needless to say our experience at the rehearsal dinner (we had Lacey come for that too - highly recommend!) and the wedding was above and beyond. Lacey and her husband were amazing to work with on the day and managed to perfectly capture all the special little moments that meant the most to us.

Lacey is the best! During a pinterest search of our wedding venue Lacey's pictures stood out. Not only are her photographs amazing but she is incredibly kind and easygoing. Lacey listened to what we were looking for in our photographs and fully delivered. Her pictures are vibrant and gorgeous and perfectly captured every moment, emotion, and detail of our wedding day. Even though she is based in NC, we never worried about her making it to our venue in NY (during a hurricane) as she meticulously plans her travel and was completely transparent with us from the get-go to calm any concerns about travel being an issue. She even did our engagement photos during a trip to the NY area which we loved as well! I would 100% recommend using Lacey as your wedding photographer!

Lacey photographed our engagement session and was an absolute delight! Our indoor venue is pretty dark so we wanted to see some indoor examples of hers before booking; she shared entire albums of similar events and we were sold! We were impressed that hundreds of photos in the album were wow-worthy, not just the handful of samples we saw online. We were particularly drawn to the bright, light style and how she naturally captures “candid” moments. During the engagement session we went to three locations and she timed it right during golden hour. Her cues on how to pose and position ourselves were amazing, I was nervous about looking awkward/unnatural but she didn’t let that happen! I can’t wait for her to capture our wedding next year. Highly recommend booking Lacey!

When I was planning a surprise proposal to my now-fiancé, I knew I wanted a photographer there to capture the moment. I emailed a few photographers whose portfolios I was impressed with, (Lacey being one of them), and it just so happened to be Lacey who emailed me back and said she’d be happy to help me out. And I’m grateful she did, because her work speaks for itself. She drove three hours to meet me at the beach where my then-girlfriend, her family, and I were staying for a week, and she was just as excited as I was for the proposal that was about to happen that evening. She was very nice and professional, and she felt like an instant new friend as she worked with us. She’ll talk with you and laugh with you and make you feel like the stars of your own show that you are. And when you finally receive the pictures she took and you see the work she’s put into them, you’ll be thankful you chose her to be there to capture your special day. She’s among the best, and you won’t go wrong with choosing her. You’ll be happy you did.

Lacey is the best!! I attended a more traditional wedding that she photographed and loved the photos. Knew I had to have her to photograph our wedding! We had a small intimate early morning wedding that involved two locations (home and ceremony location) and some hiking. She was up for the adventure and we had so much fun! Lacey captured us perfectly, as well as the natural Florida landscapes and places we love. She also provided great advice on the morning of timeline and how to best use our hours with her. That knowledge of timelines and how long things actually take was invaluable. She made us feel so comfortable and we had the best morning! And the pictures were absolutely gorgeous! How do you begin to write a concise review on someone who deserves an essay? Lacey is a dream in absolutely every sense of the word. As we were researching and narrowing down our list of potential photographers, I came across Lacey’s work using the hashtag of our venue. The vibrancy of her pictures in color and subject jumped off the screen - we knew we had to get in touch! From the moment we jumped on our initial call, we felt connected to her; speaking with her was like speaking with a friend which carried through our entire experience working together and beyond! She is fun, kind, bubbly, and energetic while always maintaining a high level of patience and professionalism. Lacey spent a day with us in Brooklyn for our engagement shoot and the first time my husband and I have ever done a proper photo shoot as adults. She quickly alleviated all of our nerves and made the entire day a blast! She had amazing ideas and was open to ours, provided comfort and direction - we spent the day laughing, forgetting that we were even in front of a camera. Over the next year, Lacey had some major (and amazing) life changes of her own - she was moving and having a baby! As soon as she was able to share the news with us, she did and in a way that was “YAY! BUT don’t worry at all! I will be at your wedding no matter what!” And a plane ride up to New Jersey, two-weeks away from having her newest addition, Lacey stuck to her word and was with us on our day. That long story shorter: She is reliable! I honestly could not have imagined our wedding day without Lacey. She calmed my nerves throughout the entire day, and even provided advice on how to approach a real-time challenge with another vendor. She brought two brilliant and sweet assistant shooters whose personalities were reflections of her own. She and our videographer had never worked together, but you would never guess because they worked like two peas in a pod. The delivery of our photos was done so in a streamlined and exceptionally organized manner, using folders associated to each part of the day. And then, of course, the pictures...THE PICTURES! They’re amazing! She perfectly captured the emotion and fun of our day, friends, family, us - everything! Seriously, GORGEOUS! Her vision and pictures exude happiness and positivity. On your wedding day, outside of your wedding party, you spend the most time with your photographer, and Lacey is the friend-photographer you want with you and will cherish in your memories forever.

Lacey is an amazing photographer and wonderful person! From the first time we met her during our engagement photos to the day of our wedding she made us feel so comfortable with everything that we were doing. Her charming personality makes you feel confident that everything is going to be done perfectly! We found Lacey through a wedding my husband was in and had her for our engagement photos. We told her that we weren't so great at taking photos so we wanted her to make sure we looked okay :). She gave us pointers and directed us what to do. When we got those photos back I was so happy at how they came out. We couldn't be more happy. Lacey takes the time to get to know you and understand what you want. When it came time for the wedding we knew everything would be perfect. She discusses everything with you ahead of time and ensures she has everything covered. We had some traffic issues from the church to the venue and Lacey made sure to make up that lost time and get the pictures we needed. They came out amazing because she knew exactly what to do. I am so glad we chose Lacey. Her warm, fun and cheery personality is the best. We continuously recommend her whenever we are asked about photographers and hope to use her again and again in the future for any events we have.

I cannot recommend Lacey enough! She was such a pleasure to work with through out the whole wedding process and her photos are amazing. She was able to capture the happiness and energy of our wedding day so wonderfully. She was completely unobtrusive and still able to capture so many candids of special moments. She spotted all the perfect spots to take photos at my venue and had so many creative and fun ideas. After the wedding she created a wonderful online album we could share with family and friends and everyone commented on how perfect our photos were. I am absolutely in love with how our photos came out! Lacey and her assistant did a wonderful job staying on task with what we asked for which was really helpful. She even help remind me of photos I wanted to get throughout the night! She help us pose properly and gave helpful directions. Lacey and Jess photographed our wedding in August 2018 and were absolutely amazing! Lacey was friendly and helpful before, during, and after -- and even helped us make plans for where to take portraits in case of rain (which luckily cleared up only two hours before we were supposed to meet her!). She was well-organized in our pre-wedding shots, totally unobtrusive during the wedding, and somehow managed to get everything we were looking for. Afterwards, when I asked whether she had certain other shots, or color versions of B&W pictures, Lacey was really cooperative in making sure we were happy--which we are!

After searching through hundreds of photographers who didn’t quite have exactly what I was looking for, we finally found Lacey. She shot both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Needless to say, she’s amazing. Not only are our photos phenomenal, but she herself is such a sweet and lovely person; an absolute joy to work with. Every single person who has seen our photos has commented on the fact that they’re perfection. Even my sister, who is a professional photographer herself. Lacey’s photos are absolutely beautiful yet seemingly effortless. I recommend her to all my friends and coworkers, and my coworker has already booked her for her wedding next year. Her work speaks for herself, hiring Lacey was the best wedding decision we made.

I had, what some may call," a wedding disaster." On the day of my wedding, my venue caught on fire and we had to change location last minute. I was blessed to have my loved ones step up to the plate and pull together a beautiful wedding for my husband and I. I am grateful to everyone who helped, but I will never forget how amazing Lacey was to us. Lacey helped my family get the new venue together and she was able to take incredible photos of the night, even though we were at a completely new location. My husband and I love our wedding photos so much. My advice: Hire Lacey, you wont be disappointed. Also, her black and white photos are my favorite.

Lacey was our photographer for our wedding in September, and also did our engagement photos. She did an amazing job with all of our photos, and was so wonderful to work with. Lacey was so sweet and helpful throughout our planning process. She was so laid back, especially on the day of the wedding during all the chaos. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and it was all because of Lacey. From the beginning, Lacey understood exactly what we wanted and she completely delivered. She was completely professional but also flexible. She was kind, thoughtful, and discreet all at the same time. On your wedding day, you spend the most time with your spouse and your photographer, and Lacey felt like part of our family throughout the day. She made everyone feel comfortable and at ease and delivered the most beautiful pictures. When we received our pictures (quickly!), Lacey had easily organized the pictures so it was easy to see the different parts of the day. When we needed pictures for gifts before the entire album was ready, Lacey always went out of her way to get us edited photos back immediately. She is so responsive and truly wants to make your day the best day ever and most importantly, about you and your spouse. Lacey was willing to jump in wherever we needed a hand or something moved. She was so much more than a photographer to us and I cannot begin to think about our wedding day without her. Lacey will be the best decision you make!

We worked with Lacey for both our engagement photos and our wedding. Both times she was very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. While we've only gotten a sneak peak of the wedding so far, we know based on our engagement photos she does an amazing job! I would highly recommend her!

I cannot recommend Lacey enough! She was such a joy to work with and surprisingly affordable for the hours of coverage with 2 shooters. She was extremely responsive, asked all the right questions, and was very prepared to accommodate all requests we had the day of. She and her second shooter, Kristen, were very personable, friendly and helped everyone relax and just have fun while taking photos! They were unobtrusive and thus I was so surprised to see some of the shots they got in the middle of all the action. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Lacey, she was fabulous!

Lacey was absolutely wonderful!! Before my wedding, we met at the venue to scope out possible spots for photography. I also gave her a few photos that I liked that I wanted to replicate on my wedding day. Lacey made sure to get all of the photos and the poses that I wanted. My photos came out absolutely beautiful - better than I ever could have imagined. I also was blown away by the candid moments she was able to capture (my husband and I sharing private looks and smiles with one another). And her shots on the dance floor are so fun! She also was able to zoom-in on certain shots or change a photo to black and white even after my wedding was over and my photos arrived. She was a fun, positive energy that made us all feel comfortable. We loved her! :)

I am completely in love with the style of her photography, which captures organic moments in creative ways. Leading up to the wedding, I found myself calling Lacey for advice. We always knew that photographer would be one of the most important choices of our wedding planning. Before we got engaged, I had seen Lacey's work on a friend's page and fell in love with her composition, her use of light and the amazing way that she captures the moment. As soon as we got engaged, even before we knew where we would have the wedding, we booked Lacey for our special day before someone else scooped her up from under us! To me, hiring the right photographer was one of the most important aspects of planning my wedding, if not the most important. Pictures last a lifetime and I wanted to make sure that I loved every single one. I wanted a photographer that had exceptional talent, great style, and had a true passion for photography. I also wanted someone that my husband and I would get along with. Lacey Gabrielle was everything that we were looking for and more. She is extremely personable, down-to-earth, and sweet as can be. She included all of the pictures we wanted, including special requests, and formatted them to detail moments throughout the day perfectly. The album went above and beyond the high expectations I had already set for it! Bottom line – I am so appreciative to have had Lacey Gabrielle be a part of our wedding day. Every penny was well worth it and I would choose her again in a heartbeat. I HIGHLY recommend Lacey Gabrielle to any bride looking for an amazing and professional photographer to capture her day. After seeing my cousin's gorgeous engagement photos, I decided to hire Lacey to shoot my engagement photos and she didn't disappoint!! (I loved working with her and her eye so much that I had my mom cancel the photographer that she had hired for my wedding.) I love all of my engagement and wedding photos and am excited about my upcoming photo shoot with Lacey! Lacey is not only sweet but very talented and awesome at what she does. She took our engagement and wedding photography. She captured the moments that we'll remember for the rest of our lives so beautifully. Our wedding day, it rained all day.
