I can say this specifically about Tania who probably had a million things going on but always made it feel like I was the only person on her radar. She was professional, SO easy to work with, a wealth of knowledge and advice and I could tell she genuinely had myself and the weddings best interest at top of mind with every interaction. The day of staff were lovely and the food is AMAZING. It has been a month since our wedding and we are still getting compliments on it - and a close friend of mine even booked this space for her 2026 wedding. Choosing this venue was the easiest decision in my whole wedding planning experience. I have endless praise and applause for this venue and all of the people who help propel it from a cool and artsy space to an unforgettable experience.

our ceremony and cocktail hour on the Skydeck, and the reception was held in La Galleria. The Skydeck views are absolutely spectacular; our ceremony video looks heavenly, and the photos with the city skyline are stunning. It was also incredibly convenient to move straight indoors for the reception by just taking a few steps. The food was not your standard wedding food. It was luxurious restaurant quality: delicious and beautifully presented. Service was excellent, and we were very happy with the bar package. Planning was a breeze thanks to our venue contact, Tania. She made everything easy and is a fantastic people person.

o area. Our experience working with Lacuna Events by LM was fantastic. The events team were prompt and professional in all communications. There were extremely accommodating; they agreed to let us view the venue three times prior to signing a contract, and they worked with us on several special requests for the wedding day. Additionally, they were communicative and clear about requests that they would not be able to accommodate, so we never felt "led on." This is so important! The venue was gorgeous. We got very lucky with the weather on our wedding day, but the rooftop is beautiful regardless of the weather. Our wedding was approx. 200 people. The larger room at Lacuna Lofts was able to accommodate our guests and allowed some extra room for people to spread out. The food was great. Our tasting experience was very fun (don't eat before - they let you try a lot of food). One thing we really liked is that the plates, etc. at the venue were a unique porcelain. So beautiful. Our point of contact at Lacuna Events by LM was Tania. Tania was professional and enthusiastic about making our wedding day exactly what we wanted it to be. We feel very lucky to have had the chance to work with her :)

It was nice and intimate and looked so lovely with the brick and lighting. We also liked that they have the caterer and handled all the small details like glassware, tables, bartenders etc. Plus, we had so many compliments on the food and had the best time at our tasting. I would 100% recommend this venue and choose it again.

On the day of, the entire staff make it happen on schedule without a single problem. The venue itself is beautiful and looked amazing the day of. It is very easy for guests to arrive to and navigate once they are there. The food is through the venue and it's delicious--you can tell it's cooked on site the day of the wedding. Lastly, I want to mention the value of the place. I was shocked at the the price we were charged for the quality of the venue compared to other wedding venues in Chicago. Absolute top notch venue with food, coordination and day of logistics and they charge a lot less than some other venues we looked at that I considered to be in the same category. Highly recommend a wedding at Lacuna Lofts!

ing venue and caterer, we were not going to settle for anything less than amazing and that is exactly what we found in Lacuna Lofts and LM Catering. We saw about 15 venues across Chicago in different neighborhoods - Lacuna Lofts was our last site tour. As soon as I walked in, met Tania and saw the space, I knew this was the perfect place for us to say I do! Tania made the entire process from walking through the door on that first site visit, to picking up a few last things after our big day absolutely flawless, personal, organized and so much fun. Tania and her team left no detail overlooked and made us feel so special throughout the entire process - she is truly a master at her craft. On top of that, the venue itself is absolutely amazing and one of a kind. From breathtaking rooftop views of an unobstructed city skyline, to a choice from a fun/funky or romantic/rustic reception space and murals throughout the building that are perfect for photos of any aesthetic. As if it couldn't get better, the food was also amazing! Obviously, with Nico being a chef, we had a lot of industry people on our guest list, and got so many compliments about the food and service. We could not be more grateful to Tania and the entire Lacuna Lofts and LM Catering team for making our day and the entire process an absolute dream. I asked Nico if we could do it all over again, but still working on getting him to agree on that one...lol If you are looking for a one of a kind venue, with an absolutely amazing team that will help you make your dream day come true, this is your place. We are forever grateful to Tania and the entire team.

Specifically, we want to give a shout-out to our amazing venue and catering coordinator, Tania Paez. Planning a wedding can definitely be stressful, but working with Tania specifically made the process feel like a breeze. She was so attentive to our emails (as random as they sometimes were), every question, every concern, and even completely flipped the ceremony setup with less than a day’s notice because our vision shifted slightly. She is so personable, so honest, and was the best guide as we worked through the process. The space itself, of course, is also a dream. From the beautiful wooden farm tables to the cafe lights (we used La Galleria, which is the smaller upstairs space), from having our cocktail hour on the gorgeous rooftop overlooking the skyline to having the room flip take place with such efficient ease. The wedding suite was the perfect size for our party, and from start to finish, Tania and the LM Team couldn’t have been more accommodating, helpful, patient, or kind. Book with Lacuna - I promise you, it’ll be one of the best decisions you could possibly make for your beautiful day!

I cannot recommend them as your venue and food vendor enough. And, on that note, the food was AMAZING! So many guests reached out afterwards to let me know that it was some of the best wedding food they've had. All in all, I would rate them at 15/10 and wouldn't have changed a single thing.

ou can definitely fit way more people on the rooftop and the reception area! The rooftop was perfect for the ceremony and cocktail hour, especially with the amazing view of the city skyline. We had our reception in the Reverie and it was amazing! Perfect layout and space. Plenty of room for the dance floor and it's right by the bar so easy for guests to grab a drink and go back to dancing!

We had our reception in La Galleria, which was the modern industrial vibe we were looking for. We also got tons of positive feedback from our guests on the venue and on the food from Lacuna’s catering group, LM. We can’t thank the team at Lacuna enough for their assistance, diligence, and organization throughout the entire planning process! Tania always answered all of our questions (no matter how trivial!). We couldn’t have had the amazing day we had without her support and guidance. The staff at Lacuna was an integral part of making our wedding day so memorable!

As one can imagine the stress of pulling off a 200- person wedding, Abbe was 100000% there for me. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She saw so many opportunities to help and took lead when needed. Even though her job wasn't to "coordinate" my wedding, she basically picked up when she saw any lack of help. She is so attentive and organized. From the start I had so much trust in this venue. We are so thrilled to have Lacuna Lofts as part of our continued love story.

I loved that we were able to bring things over to the venue the day before the wedding. Our guests talked non stop about how good the food was (LM Catering owns the venue, which made selecting food SO easy), and the BYOB option saved us thousands compared to other bar packages we looked at around the city. We brought our maid of honor and best man to our wedding tasting and had an absolute blast with Emily! Despite the 90+ degree heat on our wedding day, we had our ceremony outside with incredible views of the skyline. I’ll cherish those photos forever! Emily reached out about the heat the week of and we ultimately decided to have cocktail hour downstairs in the “Magik Street” room. I’m so grateful we decided to do this! Our guests stayed cool and also got to check out the amazing bar and indoor/outdoor space separated by a garage door which still allowed that outdoor feel. Our reception was held in La Galleria which was STUNNING and our guests loved the windows with views of the city all around the room. It was the perfect size for 140 guests and helped create the intimate feel we wanted. The string lights are perfect with the industrial/brick vibe and looked great in the photos. We got so many compliments throughout the night on all things venue and food! I can’t recommend Lacuna enough!!

ll our wedding was a dream thanks to them! We actually were about to sign a contract with another venue, but due to some communication concerns, backed out at the last minute. This left us scrambling to find a venue, and Laura swooped in and was so unbelievably accommodating! She was quick to respond and answer our questions, which we needed since we already had vendors lined up but no place to get married! When Laura left Lacuna, we were reassigned to Meagan who picked up right where Laura left off. She was communicative, easy to work with, and answered my questions (sometimes multiple times when I forgot the answers...) and was on top of everything. The venue is beautiful and we felt we barely had to add any decor with the string lights and city view. However, THE FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD. We got so many compliments on the food, everything was cooked to perfection, and the staff were quick with getting our guests fed. They were friendly, helpful, and so accommodating (when one guest who is a surgeon got caught in the operating room, they still set his plate aside and brought it out as soon as they saw him get in during our speeches!). I can't say enough good things about Lacuna. If you're considering them for your venue or catering, I guarantee you won't find better!

The food was exceptional which is also something you never really hear about weddings in general but everyone of our guests have still given us compliments on their meals to this day. Throughout the entire planning process our main communication was with one of their directors, Tania, and she could not have been more helpful! She answered ALL of my questions (which there was a lot), was consistently available, and a very approachable presence (which was wonderful given planning is not my strong suit). I highly recommend couples working with this company!!!

Tania answered so many of our questions and even recommended a wedding planner who we ended up booking and are so grateful she made this recommendation. Tania was always an e-mail away to answer any question that came up leading up to our wedding and we felt super confident in her team going into the big day. It is impossible to put into words how happy we were with our wedding day at Lacuna. Our guests loved the food (especially the short rib), and always had a drink in hand- the spicy margaritas were a huge hit! 10/10 experience from the moment we walked in the door.
