Both were very professional and punctual and made us comfortable right away. Lacy was very good at keeping track of the timeline and making sure that we got everything we wanted on our “must have photo list”. Cody was so thoughtful. He was very good at fixing my train, tossing the veil for cool shots and even went and got us each a drink from the bar when we were taking photos in the sun. p happy, fun, and professional to both events. For our wedding, they braved torrential downpour, wind, 40 degree weather AND a hike up a mountain. And when I say the pictures turned out incredible, that doesn’t do them justice. Not only that, but our wedding was on Saturday and we had the full edited pictures back by MONDAY. Yes, MONDAY. Two days later. Stop looking and hire her. She slayed the portraits, the candids, everything. I have only amazing things to say about her. The best experience ever, if we are ever back in the area and need a photographer again, it’s a no brainer that we will hire her again.

raveled all the way to Norfolk, VA just so we could have our engagement photos taken in a place that meant a lot to us. She really helped us get past our nervousness and awkwardness to make the session a lot of fun…despite my (NOW!!!) husband’s singing! A few months later came the bridal portraits. Lacy came to our venue, my family’s farm, and proceeded to scope out the best places to get the perfect shots for not only the bridal portraits, but for our wedding day too. This included Cody flinging the back of my dress into the air as he frantically ran out of the shot for the perfect windswept look…with the added bonus of creating some AMAZING photoshop material of Cody for Lacy’s Instagram story. Then came the wedding day itself. Lacy was punctual, attentive, flexible, and captured every aspect of our special day that we could have wanted, including moments we wouldn’t even have known happened if it wasn’t for her. Finally, Lacy composed, edited, and provided our completed photos for each session in record time. Leading up to the wedding, we heard countless horror stories from friends who waited months to get photos from their photographer, but that was not the case with Lacy. One minute we were getting married and the next we were reliving the moment thanks to how quickly she developed and provided the photos to us. This allowed us enough time to go through the photos and assemble our favorites into photo albums as wedding presents for our families. We could not be happier with choosing Lacy as our wedding photographer and hope to work with her again in the future!

I was so stressed out trying to find a photographer that was available for an hour and I saw Lacy's description on theknot.com and I also took a look at her website. I really liked her style and her services are reasonably priced during these hard times. She took pictures of us when we got out of the Raleigh North Carolina Temple and while we were on zoom with friends and family, including my parents in Hawaii. Our wedding was on a Saturday and she emailed me the link of our photographs within the week! Really excellent service and I was so pleased. I highly recommend Lacy! She's the best!
