I can't even write everything I want due to being limited to 3500 characters, but here it goes. I purchased a wedding dress from Light In The Box for super cheap (trying to be frugal) but ended up hating it. So I paid for this dress, alteration...s, now I'm less than a month from my wedding and at this point I'm not even sure what I want. My sister HIGHLY recommended Lady Gray where she found her wedding dress 13 years ago and I love my sister but we have very different personalities and so, to be honest, in the back of my mind I was like, "yea, I don't think this lady is going to get my style or personality, or be able to help me at this point." Also, the idea of having to try on dress after dress in some stuffy, crowded bridal shop sounded like a nightmare to me, however I had nothing to lose at this point. I figured most places would think I was an idiot and also wouldn't be able to get anything in for me on time, but Tina completely understood and genuinely cared. I was about 5 minutes passed my appointment (had to work and was running around like a crazy person) and see Tina patiently waiting for me. I instantly started to apologize about being a little behind with work and Tina reassured me that I never have to apologize for something like that. I won't go into every little detail and conversation we had, even though I want to, I will just sum it up with this, It took Tina two dresses to find me my dream dress. She is like a fairy godmother of brides, she instantly knew who I was and what would look beautiful on me. Even just walking into Lady Gray, I felt calm. It was just her and I since she does appointment only, so you get an extremely personalized experience. Lady Gray isn't just a place you go to look at wedding dresses, it is an experience every bride should have. This is a family owned business, Tina's 91 year old mother, that was still working when my sister went here for her wedding, calls her daily to see how the day went with the brides (like how cute!) Tina even held my phone so I could video chat my sister (since she lives out of state) so she could share in the day all while simultaneously clipping sleeves onto my dress, fitting it so I could see how it would look in my size, and making calls to the designers to work on getting me the right size and expedited shipping for the dress I wanted. It was the first time I felt like the duties and stress weren't on me, I actually had help! I didn't have to worry about anything. Tina even knew within seconds the perfect veil to wear and when she placed it on my head I became a bride for the first time. It was just unbelievable how spot on she was and my sister kept saying, "This is what she does!" and at that moment I finally understood. Tina isn't trying to sell you the most expensive dress or treat you like an assembly line where she is rushing from bride to bride just for money's sake. She cares about people, she wants to help you, and you can tell she absolutely loves her job. She will find you your perfect dress, you will leave feeling beautiful and happy, and you will not regret coming here by any means. So my message to you is, please skip the cheap, scam, websites like Light In The Box, or the big, fancy chain store, and go to Lady Gray. Every bride deserves and should be able to have the experience I did. I can't wait to go back this Thursday to pick up my dress!
