We met with Wanda on her farm and showed us all of her inventory - not only did we chose her to do our florals but we also rented her stunning wedding arch and all the candles and most decor! She made it so easy to help decorate our large ballroom of a venue. I really appreciated her working with me and making changes through the nine months we planned this as things changed here and there. Everyone complimented on our florals and how everything was so classic looking. I look forward to preserving my bouquet so I can look at these beautiful flowers for years to come. Our ceremony was in front of a fireplace and the floral arrangement and candles she set up on the mantle were my FAVORITE part of the day. Though, it is hard to choose because the candles and centerpieces were also truly amazing. As were the bouquets and boutonnieres - really better than we could have hoped for. for liability reasons, etc. We agreed on a plan and price- and she is VERY reasonable. After speaking with many other florists, Ladybug was in my budget for this one small piece of my wedding. One of the things that was upsetting was the details we discussed ahead of time. She assured me she would use warm twinkle lights in the design and gold painted willow branches- what I got was cool lights (so they looked blue and out of place), and tree branches straight out of the yard. I was also upset, as I purchased 100 hurricane candles off of her previous Bride for her to use in the design, and she decided at 4pm THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING that she could not use these (fire hazard)... at this point I could not order more faux candles off amazon- but whatever, we flexibly made it work. Day of her team came in and helped themselves to whatever they wanted- they paid no regard to the boxes specifically marked FLORIST- so there were decorations EVERYWHERE. It was a mess. They also decided to take initiative and dressed the staircase with candles too- which was NOT in our agreement. (We had previously discussed doing greenery there, but it was not in my budget.) What I got was a haphazard mesh of real and fake candles, with no time to fix it. And the worst part- REAL CANDLES on a staircase is SUCH a fire hazard. My dress almost caught fire twice, and my daughter burnt her finger. This would not have happened had they stuck to their plan, and let my coordinator do her job of dressing the stairs with faux candles. All in all, she was great for the price. She did her job. While I feel it wasnt the best work (the holiday wreath she made was a mushed sideways oval before the ceremony began :( ) it was affordable and got the job done. Only myself and my family know what it was supposed to be-and other than the hiccups it caused them in setting up- our guests commented on how it really made the atmosphere. My tips would be to be very clear on the plan and be sure someone is paying attention when they come in and execute it.

I only had a vague idea of what I was looking for, especially in my bouquet and our arbor, and she created the wedding day florals of my dreams! My bouquet is currently being preserved and I cannot wait to have it on display in our home as a reminder of our gorgeous wedding day! She is incredibly talented – you won’t regret choosing her for your special day!

She is open to suggestions and makes sure the client is getting exactly what they want and goes above and beyond to accommodate all requests. loved gardening, I know flowers, so the brides to be asked me to help with the flowers for the Wedding. We interviewed three local florist. Wanda by far was the best. She took the time to make sure both brides were happy...one wedding was on Block Island. With her help and advice the flowers arrived perfectly! Very organized and affordable too! The bridesmaids bouquets were OUT OF THIS WORLD and everything looked so much more expensive than what we actually paid. She allowed us to rent beautiful silver centerpieces and even added a bit of glam with beaded jewels down the side. SHE MADE MY VISION COME TO life and I couldn't be more happy that I chose her for my wedding day. Even the day of the wedding she was very accomodating in terms of delivery and set-up. Even the presentation of how she arranged/placed them in the bridal suite when she delivered them to the venue was gorgeous. Wanda added some lavender to my arrangements which I personally never would have thought of but they looked absolutely amazing in them and I was so happy she suggested it! My guests and the venue employees commented all night and the following day on how lovely the flower arrangements were! Wanda also helped me stay with in my budget, which of course when planning a wedding is very important & it was impressive as well seeing as I had 11 bridesmaids, 13 centerpieces, 2 flower arrangements for wine barrels, 11 boutineers, corsages and my my bridal bouquet, I honestly didn't think it would be possible to stay with in the budget I had in mind but Wanda made it possible. I would very highly recommend Wanda to anyone looking for a florist, my fiance and I were beyond thrilled and impressed with Wanda and everything she provided and really can not say enough great things about our experience with working with her!
