The first thing I hear when I talk to people about our wedding is that the food was the BEST wedding food they have EVER had! I could honestly cry when I think about how appreciative I am of the staff at Lafayette Market! They did incredible and efficient work- but it felt like they truly cared about us and our guest experience. From the tasting to the breakdown at the end of the night, everything not only met but exceeded our expectations! Handing them the reins the day of our wedding gave us such a sense of relief and comfort that everything would go just as planned. Not only would we not have to worry about anything- but we wouldn't even be involved. When they say full service catering- they aren't kidding! I highly recommend them for ANY event!

The wonderful people at Lafayette Market catered a home wedding reception for my son and daughter-in-law. They came to my home to figure out how to set things up both inside and outside on our patio and lawn. We discussed the menu at length because I wanted high-end food choices and they listened and made excellent recommendations. The food was beyond my expectations! My friends and relatives still talk about it months later. I want to host another event just so I can have Lafayette Market back again! Julie was not only personable but also professional in every way, especially in communicating with me and in her attention to detail. The chef, servers, and bartender were outstanding as well. I could relax and enjoy the party and my guests with no worries!

Planning a wedding is a strange thing, ideally you only do it once, which means you go into this huge event and have no idea what you’re actually doing. That’s where Julie and her team at Lafayette Market come in. They hold your hand and walk you through the process step by step. They’re the experience to your inexperience, the know how to your ideas, and the coordination of all of your moving parts. Julie doesn’t just plan a wedding, she plans yours. We started off with a meeting, where she got to know us, our tastes and our expectations. From there, she coordinated a menu that incorporated not just our tastes, but our families heritage. When she came back with a menu that included an appetizer honoring both of our grandparents, we knew who we wanted in charge of our day. Julie and her team handled our venue coordination, rentals, in house florist, and day of coordination flawlessly. The staff was superb, kind and attentive. The food presentation was beautiful, on time and people are still talking months later about how delicious it was. Looking back and through photos, I’m still blown away that I was married someplace so beautiful. The day was a dream. Except it wasn’t, it was real, and Julie and the Lafayette Market made that happen.
