We hosted our welcome party for our November 2023 wedding weekend at Lafitte's Guest House and Lounge and we were treated like royalty! We usually start our night here with delicio...
us cocktails with a quiet, classy vibe. Having our destination wedding in New Orleans, we wanted a central location for our guests to join us for the welcome/kick-off to the whole weekend. Drinks were reasonable, there was a jazz pianist playing (a typical weekend event!), beautiful ambiance, and a large outdoor courtyard for our guests to mingle and relax. We were so happy with our choice and couldn't recommend this more if you are looking for a gorgeous place to grab a drink!
Had my wedding here this past March and it was AMAZING! I highly recommend this venue. We rented out all the rooms for the weekend for our wedding party and immediate family and we...
had a blast!! It was like having a private hotel for the weekend... equipped with a bar! The owners were very accommodating and incredibly nice and helpful. And the price is unbeatable. I would not do anything different nor do I have anything negative to post about this place. Our guests are still talking about how great it was. Book it... you won’t regret it!
We got married here in November 2019, and it was phenomenal. The staff was amazing and really helpful. We were out-of-towners, and Jeanne really knocked it out of the park with hel...
ping us plan everything. We rented out the whole property for our wedding party, had our ceremony in the back courtyard, and our reception in the bar area. And this place is literally on Bourbon Street, so if you want the craziness it’s right there. The property has character and history, which is a big deal. There’s an energy here and the charm bled through with every aspect of our event. I don’t know why this isn’t higher up on the list. Ten our of ten.
The staff and owners at Lafitte’s were available and helpful before and even during our wedding. Because we were out of town-ers, we had to rely on our contact Jeanne to get vendor...
recommendations, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. The building has a great vibe to it, and the location at the northern end of Bourbon street was perfect for our guests - just up the block from the craziness. Food was terrific, drinks were flowing. This unique venue gave our wedding the character we wanted. Loved it.
