Lairmont Manor was the perfect wedding venue, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. From the moment we first visited, we fell in love with the beautiful grounds and the overall atmosphere. The manor had exactly the timeless, elegant vibe we were looking for.
One of the things we loved most was that we didn't feel the need to decorate very much because the venue is already so stunning. The gardens are beautifully maintained, the flowers are impeccable, and the interior is absolutely gorgeous. Every corner of the property feels thoughtfully cared for, making it the perfect backdrop for our wedding day.
The team at Lairmont Manor was also wonderful to work with. Communication was excellent throughout the planning process, and every question we had or suggestion we made was met with kindness, professionalism, and a welcoming smile. We always felt supported and appreciated, which made planning our wedding so much less stressful.
We are incredibly grateful to the entire team for helping make our wedding day so special. If you're looking for a venue that is breathtakingly beautiful and staffed by genuinely caring people, we can't recommend Lairmont Manor highly enough.

As a professional wedding planner and the groom this time, I can firmly say that my experience working with the team at Lairmont Manor was second-to-none! The space is perfection, the gardener takes impeccable care of the grounds, and the staff is just so sweet and accommodating. The venue itself has so much character and beauty without needing to go broke decorating it like a traditional banquet hall or hotel. We are Chicago residents, and we wanted to get married in Seattle because it holds significance to us. We couldn't find a venue we loved more between Bellingham and Seattle, which is about 90miles. Speaking from experience, the commute from Seattle to Bellingham is gorgeous and does not feel as long as it is.

Built by renowned architect Carl Gould in 1914, Lairmont Manor was constructed in an Italian Renaissance architectural style. The building was originally designed as a private residence, where the owners hosted musical, business, and literary events. Today, it is a family-owned estate that has been restored and preserved to create a stylish and luxurious wedding venue. Up to 150 guests can be accommodated at this venue, with both indoor and outdoor spaces available.
Lairmont Manor offers an array of wedding-related services. The on-site venue coordinator will assist you with venue logistics up to the date of your event. On your wedding day, the event staff can set up the venue to suit your requirements. China, flatware, chairs, table, and bars are included with the venue rental rate. The event space is available for rental between the hours of 10 am and 10 pm. The venue also provides on-site parking, WiFi, and wheelchair-accessible facilities.

The LM team is exceptional- they think of every single detail and there is a lot included with the rental fee which relieves a lot of stress. Throughout the year of planning, I reached out numerous times with random questions, and D.J. always responded promptly and warmly. The day of, Kismet was our onsite coordinator and she was phenomenal as well. In the spirit of full transparency, we were initially torn between two venues but ultimately chose Lairmont because we knew a great day would be guaranteed. The staff are serious about restrictions in place because the venue is not only historical but it is also an active apartment property with people living in the quarters over and next to the rental spaces. Noise, liquor, vendor licensing, etc. is very strict--which is understandable. The only thing that really limited the kind of event we were hoping to have was the limitation on cocktails all needing to be pre-batched, which can make planning and set-up complicated for all parties involved. Be prepared for that!

The staff were communicative, responsive, helpful and kind throughout our process with them. Compared to venues in Seattle, Lairmont was a great price, especially if you book on a weekday or off season. We had to shift our wedding from indoor to outdoor on short notice, and the staff flowed with the change graciously. We will never forget the beautiful experience we had here!

The venue is easily accessible and provided ease for our caterer, Gusto Wood Fired Pizza ( also to die for ), to roll up with oven smoking and right next to our seating area so our guests wouldn't have to go far for delicious slice. We loved that the Bride & Groom had their own areas so we could remain unseen from each other until it was time to walk. The Groomsman room also made a wonderful area for our photo booth fun for all our guests being right next to the tent and a low-key area for mingling. DJ ( day-of staff ) was proactive when the weather was taking a turn for the worst and made sure our tent as well as ceremony area would be absolutely perfect once the event got rolling; it is magical how knowledgeable she is. Highly recommended and will be keeping this venue in mind for anything and anyone in the future!

What sold us on the Manor were a number of things.. First, we'd have access to the Manor from 10am to 10pm so we wouldn't have to rush with the set up. The bridal suite was spacious and having a vanity room worked out perfect for the make-up artist and hair dresser. The Manor was completely dedicated to us so we didn't have to worry about strangers walking into our party. They had everything from tables, tents, outdoor heaters (which we ended up not needing), and a groovy dance floor. We were allowed to bring in all our own vendors, food, and alcohol. We ended up going with their in-house caterer (Maria) who was outstanding!
Our guest count was around 100 people, but the Manor could easily held more than that. We had our ceremony in the early evening at the beginning of May. The garden was blooming - it was beautiful!

The ONLY downfall (which is not the fault of the Lairmont) is the ballroom/dance floor was really hot because there is no air conditioning or air flow due to the historic nature of the building. But, it would be a great investment to add an air conditioner.

The bridal suite was also amazing and I had so much fun hanging out with all of my ladies before the ceremony started. There were also so many different places on the grounds to take photos, we didn't feel the need to leave the grounds at all which made the flow of the day so much more relaxing. Lairmont Manor truly is the entire package when it comes to weddings and I would do it all over and over again. Worth every single penny spent on the wedding of my dreams!

They charge roughly $2,500 for weekends, but I got a steal of $795 because I got married on a weekday. The manager never answers the phone and takes a few days to get back to you, but I had a great experience otherwise.
