Lake Bluff Preserve was the perfect venue. Dawn was so hopeful, answered every question we had, and made planning a wedding from 5 states away much easier! The venue was beautiful and spacious. We had plenty of room for our family to stay, and they allowed us to bring our dogs. A storm blew in right after our wedding, and Tim was so helpful making sure my family all made it out safely! We would love to stay here again in the future, and recommend it to anyone looking for a venue.

Lake Bluff Preserve is simply breathtaking. We rented the property for our wedding in September and from the beginning Dawn and Nancy were very helpful and communicative. They provided a recommended vendor list which ultimately paired us with our wedding planner who we couldn't be happier with and answered any questions we had along the way. Throughout the weekend itself Corinne was also incredibly responsive and supportive. The property was perfectly suited to host all of our guests for the full weekend and the backdrop of Lake Michigan as well as the dunes in addition some truly spectacular sunsets made for some stunning photos. Lake Bluff Preserves is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue located in Frankfort, MI. This property is made up of a gathering of vacation homes situated on the sandy bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan. You can celebrate your special day in complete privacy, surrounded by breathtaking views. Prepare for your spectacular event in one of the fully outfitted waterfront properties. With three houses, your opportunities are plentiful. For example, in any of the houses situated high atop the bluffs, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the lake as you prepare for your ceremony. These multi-bedroom houses with modern amenities, giving a home-away-from-home vibe for you and your party to indulge in. Your guests can look on as you exchange your vows against a backdrop of calm blue water, feeling the grass and sand beneath their feet. This atmosphere is one of true serenity. The event Deck with tent is the perfect location to dine and dance the night away with your guests. As the sun sets, you and your guests can enjoy the twinkling starlit sky overhead, a wondrously romantic end to your special day. Events both big and small can be hosted at Lake Bluff Preserves. The management has a policy that does not limit the number of guests you can have at your event here. If you cannot accommodate all of your guests in the properties on-site, they will happily help you arrange for nearby lodgings. You have a plentiful amount of room in which to make this milestone occasion truly personal to you, and the staff is dedicated to facilitating that in each way they can. sunsets are amazing. Dawn and Nancy were so great to work with they were always so professional and wanted us to have our dream wedding. Location was perfect, so close to downtown Frankfort. I also had space for all friends and family to stay during the wedding weekend it was so nice to have everyone be in the same place, we created so many memories on this property. I can’t wait to stay again.

ed on us a month out, we stumbled across this venue and contacted them right away. Bob and Nancy the property managers made the transition between the venues as smooth as it can get. They went above and beyond for us! They booked room blocks and contacted a shuttle person for us as well. The best part about the venue was that all of our friends and family were able to stay on the property in the ginormous houses. Everyone of our guests had an amazing time. Tim, the grounds keeper and builder of all the houses, was extremely helpful and was there to help us with anything we needed. We met some of the Kirkwood family and they were so nice and accommodating. My friends and family had such an amazing time that we want to rent the houses again next year! We can't thank Bob, Nancy, Tim, and the Kirkwood family enough for everything that they have done for us! They are the BEST!
