Lake Elmo Inn Event Center

We booked this place because it was simple, yet beautiful. There is a garden right outside, where we got married at. This place had it all together, everything went well. Cheryl was our contact, and she kept us up to date on everything. The only thing bad that I have to say is that there must of been some miscommunication. We were told that we would clean up the venue that following Sunday. We instead had to have everything cleaned before midnight on our wedding night. Otherwise it was a beautiful venue, and very nice staff.

Lake Elmo Inn catered our brunch reception. From the moment we began to work with them, they tended to our every wish. Chef John assures that we had an amazing tasting experience and then Cheryl worked with us to assure that every food need we requested was accommodated. The day of the reception, the food was outstanding and reflected everything we’d asked for. We had so many compliments on the food! We will definitely work with Lake Elmo Inn for any of our future catering needs. They were outstanding.

Lake Elmo Inn catered our wedding at Camrose Hill. We had a small guest list and Helen was extremely gracious and flexible about helping us set up the menu, and well as make some changes as we worked through the details, the pricing was very reasonable and everything was completely transparent. But...the food! OMG, so good!! We had 6 passed appetizers that were amazing (sadly I was too busy having my dress bustled and I only got one of each) and the buffet dinner / carving station was outstanding. The staff was attentive, professional, flexible, and fun! We had a signature drink that the bartenders weren't familiar with and they had the best time when my husband showed them what to do to make the drink. I would highly recommend Lake Elmo Inn for any catering you might need!

The event center was everything we could’ve dreamed! Flexibility for an outdoor ceremony, any layout we wanted for the reception, and so many compliments on the food I lost count. Loved it!!

I hate to be the only negative feedback on this venue, however I think brides need to know what they could encounter while working with the Lake Elmo Event Center... The communication is terrible! We have asked questions and tried to set up our tasting on multiple occasions without response until we send a less-happy email. Now we have one month before our RSVPs are printed and have yet to determine what plates we are offering guests. Stay away if you can!

The Lake Elmo Inn Event Center was a very nice venue to work with! Their on-site event planners are willing to meet with you whenever you need and help with all of the details to make your day special. They helped to ensure coordination between all of our vendors. The food is also TO DIE FOR!!! All of our guests were very impressed. I highly recommend the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center.

We had a wonderful experience with our post wedding celebration (reception and dance) at the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center. Everything was very elegant and professionally done. The food was delicious and everyone had so much fun.

I used them for both the ceremony and reception and I couldn't be happier I did! It was raining all morning and I was hoping to have an outdoor ceremony. They took care of everything and made sure I was not worried. They assured me that the skies would be clear by the afternoon and they were right! It couldn't have been a more perfect day! Thanks! Plus the food is amazing as well! I got many compliments about it!

Lake Elmo Inn Event Center was an amazing location for our July wedding. The service was incredible. The impression started during the tasting when the owner walked through your menu options and took his time to make sure everything possible. We worked directly with our own event coordinator who organized everything and made sure the day of was simply about enjoying the moment. The food was INCREDIBLE. It is not your typical wedding food when you can tell the kitchen was feeding 300 people at once. Everything tasted as if it was freshly prepared for each individual guest. EVERY GUEST commented on the food and desserts!

Lake Elmo Inn Catered our reception and did a flawless job! Our event was outside at a private residence, and LEI was incredibly conscious of every detail. Not only was the food out of this world, but the wait staff was so warm and welcoming to all of the guests. From serving the passed appetizers, to inviting guests to the buffet, each member of the LEI team was just a delight to have with us that night. Never were we waiting for the food, or nervous that something had fallen through the cracks. LEI catering is truly an expert in their field! We also had a blast working with the staff throughout the planning process. Each person we encountered was so warm, and willing to adjust to whatever our vision was for the night. I would highly recommend LEI to any bride and groom!

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center, and everything went beautifully! The Staff are wonderful to work with, and really take a lot of the stress out of planning your wedding. The food is delightful - we have been getting endless compliments on the food since our wedding! They are very open to any ideas you have for using the space. I really can't recommend them enough. They helped make my wedding beautiful, laid back, and everything I wanted!

They were so great here. Cheryl, our coordinator, was so helpful and supportive and willing to accomodate us. They also catered our food for us which was amazing. Everyone loved it. We also did our cake through their bakery and that was delicious too!

We loved this venue because they took care of EVERYTHING while still leaving us plenty of room to make it our own. The food is catered from the associated restaurant (the Lake Elmo Inn) and is fantastic, and the chef is wonderfully flexible very willing to work with the family to determine what will be served. We had a lot of extra things that we wanted to do (a makeshift photo booth, a board game/lounge area, etc) and the managers were more than willing to make it happen. In addition, the venue has a wide range of decorations (vases, hurricanes, candles, centerpieces, etc) if you want to use them. Perhaps best of all, they took care of most of the set-up and tear down, which makes a huge difference. Not including price because it included the food, which might skew how it is compared to other places. Not including food and alcohol it would have been well under $5,000.

The food was absolutely amazing. Guests are still talking about it. We had food stations with a lot of different options. They were also very accomodating for food allergies.

My Mother had her wedding reception here back when it was a VFW in the 70's, my sister got married here 5 years ago and finally it was my turn. The whole staff is friendly and management takes great care of you! Food was amazing and I had so many complements on it! Driving past the building you wouldn't expect to find such a beautiful event center inside. Elegant and Classy.

The Lake Elmo staff was extremely helpful the entire planning process. Elaine helped me figure out centerpiece ideas and I got tons of compliments on them. The food is unbeatable... that is what really sold us on the venue! If you want great planners and amazing food this is the venue for you. We absolutely loved it!

I can't say enough about our daughters wedding reception. Lake Elmo Inn Event Center did a fantastic job. The food and service was spectacular. They made special accommodations for our dinner guests with dietary concerns. They also made my in-laws feel special with the entrees they ordered. (Someone wanted the end cut of the prime rib). The food that was served was as delicious as the dinners we were served at the food tasting. They did a great job setting up the room. They provided some of the table decorations (mirrors and votive candles). Cheryl was wonderful to work with planning the reception and JoAnn and the waitstaff were a great help the day of the wedding. The waitstaff were continually clearing dishes from the tables. Some of our guests were familiar with the Lake Elmo Inn and were excited to attend. They were just has pleased as we were. We had a fantastic party. Worth every penny spent. The outside of the building tells you nothing about what is inside. They did just an awesome job. The bridal room was great and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. Very convenient location. If my younger daughter wanted to have her wedding there we would do it in a heartbeat. THANK YOU Lake Elmo Inn Event Center for a wonder wedding reception.

The Event Center was amazing. All of their staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and they were willing to go above and beyond in order to make our wedding day perfect.

Lake Elmo Inn was amazing - they catered the reception at a private venue. The staff was courteous, quick, and willing to serve anything- including beer my dad brought and cakes provided by an outside vendor. The food was amazing (I did appetizers only, but there were enough to feed armies! The shrimp was delicious, the smoked salmon legendary, and people were really eating and piling it on their plates!)

Lake Elmo Inn is an AMAZING restaurant and one of my our favorites! At the LEIEC they provide food catered from their restaurant. I received many compliments on the meal and the venue. The staff is very helpful and did an excellent job of making sure our reception was perfect! The venue is very new and is a beautiful location. We had 200 guests and it was the perfect size for everyone to move around comfortably. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

They were amazing! They created a menu just for us and the food was unbelievably good. The weather did not cooperate with us on our wedding day but LEIEC dealt with it and alternate plans were created that were even better than the original idea/plan. I could not have found a better venue for the wedding. They gave us a level of service above our expectations (and their outstanding customer service was one reasons we selected

The Lake Elmo Inn staff was incredible! When I walked in, the banquet hall just glowed! John, Chris and their staff are amazing! I would recommend the Event Center to anyone!
