tour the facility and receive all the information we could about it. When we arrived, we were told by one of the employees that Gordon would be right with us, to have a seat. A few minutes later, we were greeted by a Parks and Recreation set up/take down employee that Gordon would not be available, that he was in a meeting. This Parks and Rec employee said he could show us around. We did get to tour the facility but the employee was not sure about some of the details we had questions about. Also, not to mention that if you want a rehearsal the day before at this venue, you have to pay extra unless the day before is free and clear. So be careful when booking an appointment at this facility. Ask Gordon if he will be available directly to show you around and answer your questions, prior to making an appointment. Otherwise, you might not be important enough either!

The facility is one the water, The do have an approved vendors list for cateres with MANY wonderful companies available, You can serve alcohol with a simple application, a minimal fee, and you hire a bartender to handle the liquor. There is a site fee and the capacity of this venue I believe is 1,500. There are three banquet rooms that can be rented out separately or all together. There is also an extremely large lobby that we used for our pre-recption area and this space easily accomodated our 170 pre reception guests. We were very pleased with the staff and the facilities for our daughters wedding. It all turned out fabulous!! This facility is a little known location but is better than anything available in it's surrounding larger cities including Winter Haven, Lakeland, Lake Wales, etc. I highly recommend it's use.
