Lake Las Vegas is a 320 acre, 2.5 mile long, 90 ft deep (at its deepest spot), man-made lake located in Henderson, Nevada, in close proximity to the Las Vegas Strip and Lake Mead. This emerald blue lake is nestled amidst majestic mountains and pastel landscapes and is surrounded by elegant homes, beautifully manicured golf courses and five-star resorts. Although this lake is private, Lake Las Vegas Marina is open to the public for rental. Chartering a yacht on beautiful Lake Las Vegas makes any event just that much more special. “LaContessa” is 80 ft in length, holds 130 guest for cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres’, and 56 for a sit-down dinner. i had my ceremony and reception at the lake club at lake las vegas. the setting was beautiful with the mountains and lake as back drops, but the event coordinator tried my patienc...
e on several occasions. she kept raising the prices, told me that they would provide the speakers and cd player for the ceremony and didn't, and did not set up the party favors until after half of the guest have left. the food was awesome, but i wish i had looked at some of the resorts at lake las vegas.
I am in Love with Lake Las Vegas! We were married aboard the La Contessa and I couldn't have asked for a nicer back drop for our ceremony!

llage Resort.;I would have hired my own wedding coordinator. I felt as if the wedding coordinator that I was given from the resort really didn't have my best interests at heart. There were a lot of things she didn't do or did poorly, but one example was that she left the reception early and turned off her cell so when our shuttle didn't show up to take my guests back to the hotel - i had to count on my AWESOME florist to save the day.
