Lake Mary Events Center

OUS Rotunda and then the reception in the Grand Ballroom. We didn't even need to spend money on decorations for the Rotunda because it was already picture-ready! The team/staff are professional and amazing folks all-around. Yes, this event center is a little stricter than most but it is for good reason and again, our wedding was absolutely flawless.

to have a beautiful Florida charm that you and your guests will dig. Lake Mary Event Center does not feel like either an old, historic nor upscale, highly modern venue. It is somewhere beautifully in between. Your guests can enjoy the beautiful lake, courtyard, and rotunda, while also feeling like getting lit and crazy on the dance floor later on in the same night in the ballroom. The staff are super professional in the whole process and their website and contract make a lot of things self-explanatory rather than stressful and confusing.

d reception here. It was beautiful. One thing I did not like about LMEC for a wedding is having to use one of the caterers off of their approved list. We did not have the best experience with our caterer (Magic Occasions) which we picked because they were the cheapest option, but was still over our original budget. We wish they let us pick whatever we wanted. Another downfall was that the rental was only for 8hrs, not the whole day. 8 hours is very fast because it had to include set up and clean up. We had to end the reception early because of a misunderstanding about time. So our reception was only 2 hours long, which sucked a lot. You can buy extra hours but its about $400 per hour and we couldn't afford to do that. They also had a bunch of smaller rules but nothing we couldn't work around. Good things about the venue included letting us move the ceremony inside the day before due to bad weather and great communication from the people who work there. Overall I'm glad we went with this venue.

h 20 guests and held our ceremony in the Rotunda with the lake as our backdrop. I never had to stress about rain (it's summer in Central Florida) because I knew we would be inside but with the beauty of nature still shining through the large windows. We then used half the ballroom for our reception and it was the perfect space. I wanted a venue that didn't require much work to transform the space, and that is exactly what I got! We had minimal décor and the natural beauty of the venue helped to elevate our day. I would recommend anyone to get married here!

ackyard area was the perfect backdrop for our photos. Lynzie and Alyssa were super friendly and easy to reach whenever we had any questions about the setup/contract. The day of, everything was setup the way we had imagined, our vendors did not have any issues accessing the property, and both the ceremony and reception happened without any major hiccups. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

he rain, we had a change of plans, and the venue quickly changed cocktail hour to indoors. There were no issues with setup nor complaints from the residential area and I am so happy that we chose this venue for our wedding! I would only suggest that you read the venue restrictions to make sure that you don't run into any issues on the day of.

solutely breathtaking with it's floor to ceiling windows, natural light, and view of the lake. Our cocktail hour was outside on the lawn and patio where there are two beautiful trellises and a fountain, overlooking the picturesque lake. Our reception was inside the ballroom. It was spacious and also features large windows that look out on the patio and lake. Our guests all commented on what a beautiful venue we had. We chose to the book the venue for the entire day so that the bridesmaids and I could have our hair and make-up done on-site. We were able to use the meeting room to get ready, but they also have a smaller bridal suite where we took pictures and a groom's room where the groomsmen changed. The team at Lake Mary Events Center, including Alyssa, was great to work with throughout the planning process and on the day of our wedding. Highly recommend considering Lake Mary Events Center for your wedding!

decided to book with them. I wanted something both indoors and outdoors because of unpredictable FL weather and the venue had just that. You have to see this venue in person because pictures do not do it justice. I had the pleasure of touring the facility with Alyssa and she was my main point of contact for booking and following-up to the event. Alyssa is extremely sweet, professional and honestly one of my favorite vendors to work with. She is so patient and always readily available to answer your questions. the location and it really has everything. The view is outstanding, the ballroom is spacious and you have the option to have your ceremony inside or outside. Alyssa was helpful every step of the way and even gave us recommendations of what other couples have done for their weddings, some of which we used for our wedding. Cannot recommend this venue or the staff enough!

he view of the lake through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The hallways and ballroom are spacious, and the onsite get-ready rooms for both bride and groom were very useful. The venue itself is kind of tucked away, and combined with the fact that the entire building is rented out, it made our wedding feel more intimate. Plus, the pricing is very reasonable. LMEC is a hidden gem, for sure. Another huge plus is their staff—such friendly and helpful people. Lynzie helped us book the venue quickly. Alyssa was responsive and made our planning process very smooth. Terry and Alex, who managed the venue on our wedding day, did an excellent job with making sure we and our vendors had everything we needed. Overall, we are definitely happy that we had our wedding at LMEC and would 100% recommend this venue.

dding world, you get 1/2 of what you paid for and you're almost always over charged. That is not the case with LMEC!!! It was worth every penny and more! Please don't ever ever ever increase your prices!!! Beautiful venue with so many options for every bride, groom, budget and timeline. The staff is wonderfully kind and immensely helpful. Speak with Linzey (I think I spelt it wrong)- she knows the venue well, gives great advice and is happy to walk alongside you to make sure that LMEC is everything that you want it to be. Absolutely beautiful space. You can and will create your lasting memories here with your spouse, loved ones and friends. Stunning venue with gorgeous windows and backdrop views in the rotunda, plenty of space in the ballroom for whatever you use it for, awesome lake and covered patio area for pictures. It started to rain during our bridal party group photos so we gathered our things and went under the patio. Honestly, those are some of my favorite photos from the whole day! The vendor list for catering is a broad one. I strongly suggest meeting with EVERY SINGLE ONE, tasting their food and discussing prices. Long story short: take the extra money you saved by choosing an affordable venue like LMEC and TALK ABOUT THE SERVING SIZES with your caterer. You are going to spend thousands of dollars on food for you and your guests. Make sure you know exactly what a plate for your guests will include (how many servings, how large of a serving, are they going to make sure your guest count can eat or will they assume 10% of your guests are a no-show on the day of?) You cannot make up for a lack of food at your wedding. That being said, I do not, cannot and will not recommend JM catering. But we did hire LMEC and I couldn't be happier!

is a huge bargain compared to many venues I had looked at. They are a city-owned center, so every cost is spelled out nice and neat on their website. No guess work involved. We had a weekday ceremony, making the cost even lower. They have a list of approved vendors (4 Rivers in on there and who we used -and wanted to begin with-) and you are able to provide your own alcohol. The venue itself is beautiful. Right on a lake with an amazing sunset (if the weather cooperates, which it absolutely did on our day). There is a large ballroom (with a dance floor already there), small rooms for the Bride and Groom parties (although I recommend getting ready at a hotel or somewhere else, it's a little small for hair and makeup but a great room to relax in before the ceremony.) The rotundra room is very beautiful and great if you want an indoor ceremony or to use it as a photobooth room. It was also such a relief to have a backup location if the weather did not cooperate with us. We had an outdoor ceremony and the trellis we faced was a perfect backdrop. The venue was very helpful and worked with us during our covid postponing. They do not allow drop off of anything the day before, only once your rental time starts. I purchased a few extra hours to allow for drop off of my decor and for the vendors to have time to set up. Keep this in mind when planning your time (I believe weekend rentals include the whole day but weekday rentals start at 4pm). All in all I could not have asked for a better venue. I'm so glad I found LMEC and you will absolutely love them as your venue.

here during my event were SUPER friendly and helpful. Everything I requested was fulfilled. The venue itself is in a beautiful location and the pictures as the sun set behind the lake were magnificent. I cannot say enough about the Event Center. It made my daughters wedding day as wonderful as we hoped for.
