Our wedding was 4/19/26, and we could not have chosen a more perfect venue that fit our personalities more than the Lake Nona Wave Hotel.
From our initial decision to sign the contract to the day of our event, the planning process was seamless. The sales manager/venue coordinator Luiza was quick to respond and was clear in her communication with us. On the day of our wedding, she along with the banquets manager Jonathan made sure we, our guests, and our other vendors were well taken care of.
The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, and we love how tech-forward all of the room amenities are. Beyond that, all of the staff we interacted with were tremendously kind, helpful, and truly focused on providing exceptional care and hospitality.
This venue ticked all of the boxes for us. First of all: venue + lodging + catering + cake + bar services = our planning checklist just got so much shorter. Close to the airport for all of our out of town guests, complimentary self-parking, incredible food prepared on site in a Michelin-recommended kitchen, within walking distance of the vibrant Lake Nona town square, and completely stunning spaces that made for excellent photos. We truly love this place so much, AND we can't wait to celebrate our anniversary every year with a mini staycation and fancy dinner at one of their spectacular restaurants.

literally had the most wonderful experience with shannon. i planned my parents’ wedding and it was so seamless that it felt weird to not have anything to handle. shannon was thorough, quick to respond, and kind throughout the entire journey. the food and venue were an absolute steal for the value and are still talked about by the guests almost a year later.
the wedding package came with a weekend stay for my parents and it was honestly amazing! so much room for us to get ready!
the parking garage is spotless (i’m not kidding, we saw custodians MOPPING the stairway) and bountiful with spots. wonderful courtyard for happy hour. ballroom had easy access to the parking and bathrooms as well.
it was seriously such an amazing event that my fiancée and i are now considering it as our venue as well. 10000/10!

WARNING FUTURE BRIDES! I've had the most unprofessional experience with this hotel. They STOLE over 900 dollars from my bank account without permission, two weeks AFTER my wedding....
Then refused to pay me back, call me back or speak to me.
I had filled out 3 guest cards providing the time of arrival as it was late due to driving in from another state. They were unprepared, charged us a late check in fee, didn't have our room ready and had to wake up the valet to park our own car. They moved some of my guests including the brother of the bride to another hotel without notice ON the wedding day at check in. With no offer to shuttle or provide a way to get there because they accidentally overbooked the hotel. I requested my bridal party to be on the same level due to them locking the levels on the elevator.
No one was on my level and due to this my vendors and bridal party couldn't access me. They attempted to move me from my bridal suite at 2pm when I was getting into my wedding dress. The event coordinator must have forgotten we had booked the wedding in the garden because they booked a WICKED movie event in the garden right next to us during the wedding. Which they had music blaring over mine.
The food that I sampled at my tasting wasn't what I was served at my wedding. The cake which they provided looked nothing like what it was suppose to nor were the flavors correct. My wedding planner was over an hour and half late which shifted everything back. And Due to me living out of state I haven't been able to be there to handle this myself.
So my elderly parents went there day in and day out trying to get my money refunded. They have lied to my parents, made up fake invoices to cover their mistakes. l've called numerous times and all calls go to a call center. So talking to someone who is physically there is impossible. It's honestly ridiculous. I work in the wedding industry and never in my life have I seen this type of behavior from a hotel. Proceed with caution
