Lake Placid Club

We got engaged in Lake Placid on New Year's Eve 2018 and knew it was the perfect destination for our wedding. Since I am a teacher, and wanted to get married in the summer, we came up again for a weekend in January to see what could be done. From the first look at the Golf House (even in a foot of snow) we knew it would be the perfect venue, and from THE MINUTE we met Sydney we knew that she could help us get it done in 6 months! We were not disappointed by anything! Because the LPGC has several spaces to choose from, we were able to customize our wedding and choose the perfect spots for our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner/dancing. Sydney pointed us to amazing vendors, kept us organized and on track, and even helped us figure out the unfortunate incident of the shuttle company we originally booked going out of business. We called on her numerous times with questions and requests for advice and she was UNFAILINGLY professional, cheerful and encouraging. The menu choices allowed us to please everyone, from kids to vegans, to those with gluten issues, and everyone RAVED about the food! The Adirondack views were spectacular and appeared as profile pictures on many of our guests Facebook pages. The entire staff on the day of the wedding was terrific! Polite, friendly, helpful - even going so far as helping my parents load the many remaining decorations into our cars at the end of a great day. Our family and friends can't stop talking about the experience! Thank you to everyone at the Golf House for the most special day of our lives!

My husband and I chose LPC for our wedding reception venue for our wedding this past August and it was absolutely spectacular! Throughout the wedding planning process, our coordinator, Sydney, was unbelievably helpful! Her communication was amazing - even on the morning of our wedding I was emailing her asking about last minute details and she emailed me back within minutes! She was extremely organized, made the wedding planning process a breeze, and truly made our visions for our day a reality! The venue itself is absolutely perfect. The view is unmatched, absolutely gorgeous. The food was delicious - our guests were raving about the passed hors d'oeuvres and entrees that we chose! The drinks at the bar were generous and delicious, and the bartenders were so friendly and fun! The staff was so helpful, professional, and efficient. The entire night went smoothly and without any issues because of their hard work! If we could do it all over again, we would choose LPC time and time again!

My husband and I recently got married at the LPC on 6.22.19 and everything was amazing. We had the perfect weather that day, but it was really nice to have the pavilion in case the weather was not so great. The view from the pavilion and the entire venue is breathtaking. Our wedding photos turned out so great <3 The staff was amazing, making sure everything stays on schedule and was willing to help with anything including all of the set-up. The food was amazing, we got a lot of complements from friends and family. I don't have any complaints, as the venue and staff were excellent. :)

When we were looking for a place to hold our wedding we knew we really wanted to have it in the Adirondacks. I had used the knot to check out a few places with the Lake Placid Club being one of them. From the very first email I had a great experience with this venue. Sydney, the wedding coordinator, was kind and outgoing putting you completely at ease. If I sent her an email with questions (there were a lot) I would have an answer by the end of the day in a very professional yet personable email. She walks you through the entire process from the minute you send the guest email or give her a call. I got monthly emails just checking in and then an email reminding me of a due date 1-2 weeks in advance of the due date. They pay attention to detail so well, I had this multiple page questionnaire I had to fill out for how I wanted things to go at the ceremony and reception, this made everything go incredibly smoothly. I also can't give enough praise to the catering/bartending staff. They were incredible, so friendly and outgoing, making guests feel at ease. As the wedding couple we had one server who was assigned to us making sure we had everything we needed. The other staff were just as attentive, if they saw us looking for something it was amazing how fast someone appeared to help us whether it was an appetizer, water or alcohol. All of the planning leading up to this day truly showed because we didn't think or worry about anything once it all started. You will be working with a well oiled, professional machine. The food was absolutely delicious and all of my guests raved at how good it was! We all rolled out of there with very full bellies. Then if you were worried about having your wedding on a golf course, don't. We started our wedding at 5pm and had no issues with the golfers at all and the stunning views of the Adirondacks made it all completely worth it. We would do it all again and we would not change a thing. If you are on the fence about using this venue you having nothing to fear, I would highly recommend it!

My husband and I recently got married in June at the Lake Placid Club and were completely breath taken by our entire experience! First off, Sydney is absolutely amazing!!! She was attentive, quick and just on top of everything and more. If we had even the silliest of questions, she always knew the answer. We are so grateful for all the time you devoted to us and our wedding day would not have been possible it it wasn't for her! The location was a dream come true! We booked both spaces and were so happy we did! Guests had plenty of space to eat, dance, mingle and take the beautiful scenery in. The staff was friendly and made sure the day went smoothly. We could not have picked a better location to hold our reception. To have multiple guests say that our wedding was the best and most fun they have ever attended melted our hearts. Our DJ, Dillon from Experience Events, made sure everyone was having fun. It was amazing to see guests that felt that dancing wasn't their thing movin' and groovin'! If you're looking for a DJ, ask for Dillon. He'll guarantee you and your guests are all having a blast! We loved every single moment of our wedding day and would not change a thing! We highly recommend the Lake Placid Club as your venue because we want other couples to also feel that heart warming feeling when you know something is just right, but it's hard to put into words.

Lake Placid Club was a dream come true. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful, accommodating, welcoming and well-organized establishment to host 115 of our favorite people on our wedding day. All of our guests travelled from many hours away, most having never been to Lake Placid, and many have already planned a return trip! The views, food, atmosphere at the club won everyone over. The coordinator of the Club, Sydney Brown, was so incredible. We can't speak highly enough of her professionalism, great attitude and ability to calm any worries. She walked us through our options for the flow of the night and helped us chose having our ceremony under the pavilion, cocktail hour under the porch, inside for dinner and back outside under the porch for dancing. This setup could not have worked out better as the party never slowed! If we had to do it over again (and we wish we could!) we'd repeat the same night over and over. We just got married this past weekend at the Lake Placid Club and we can't thank everyone enough for helping make our day magical. Sydney and Leslie handled all of our changes and updates with ease in the final few weeks. It was nice to not have to worry about things day of and to know they were going to handle whatever came up. The venue is top notch with views and the service. Our guests have continued to report back on how they loved the venue space.

Lake Placid Club was the perfect wedding venue!! Sydney, our coordinator, was so helpful leading up to the wedding and the day of she made sure everything was beautiful and ran smoothly. Our wedding was the first time most of our guests were in Lake Placid and they couldn’t stop raving about the amazing views!! Many said it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the LPC Golf House!!! The food was also amazing (we did not do a tasting before hand, just choose what we thought sounded good). It was so amazing being able to be outside for most of the night and the pavilion was absolutely perfect for both our ceremony and for dancing.

You cannot find a better venue for the price! We also looked at other Lake Placid venues and this was the the most affordable and had THE BEST views. You literally cannot get any better. We got so many compliments all night about the views - had perfect weather (got married 6/8/19). And the food was awesome too! It really was the best day ever. Everything went so smoothly and we didn’t worry about a thing all night.

The Lake Placid Club was the perfect setting for our early June wedding in Lake Placid, NY. It allowed us to utilized outdoor space along with the AMAZING views of the mountains, but also gave us inside space for either eating, drinking, dancing, etc. Event coordinator, Sydney, was fantastic and very organized on what our vision for our reception would be. She even greeted me right upon my arrival to the reception, asked for my drink order and delivered it straight to me! I think the only thing that would have made the day of planning easier would have been for us to have been able to drop off decorations and accessories, as well as string the lights (since you have to do them yourself) the day before the wedding instead of the morning of the wedding. Luckily, I had some amazing family who helped make sure we got everything dropped off and didn't miss any of the morning of wedding festivities. We were very blessed to have nice weather for our wedding but even if it wasn't, the scenery and staff at LPC are sure to make your night great!

After scouring the internet for a venue in Lake Placid, NY that had everything I wanted for our wedding, I narrowed down to the Lake Placid Club. We booked it nearly two years in advance, and I am so happy to say that our experience was even better than I had imagined. The venue itself is gorgeous - we lucked out with a stunning autumn day - the food was good and even accommodated my extensive food allergies, and Leslie and Sydney were so, so helpful, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Adirondacks that offers gorgeous mountain views, great food, and wonderful people that make the wedding planning process and wedding itself a breeze, look no further!

I don't have enough great things to say about this venue and the team of people we had the pleasure of working with. Leslie, Sydney, and the rest of the team at LPC were well organized, great communicators, professional, and sincere. They made planning a wedding from out of town seamless. Leslie and Sydney are included in the venue fee, but they would be worth extra money for how easy they made our lives! We did our rehearsal dinner at The Boat House (another affiliate under the Crowne Plaza umbrella) and we had a Welcome Reception and After Party right at the Crowne Plaza hotel. Leslie was our one point of contact for all of it, which was wonderful. The staff at the hotel was very accommodating, and our bartender (Billy) was a big hit among all our guests. They really know how to entertain. On Friday when we were at the rehearsal dinner, I realized I forgot my bridesmaids' gifts in the suite before rushing out for the rehearsal. Leslie saw my body language from across the room, could tell I was disappointed, and came over to ask what was wrong. I explained I had forgotten the bags and I would just give them to the girls later on, no big deal. Leslie insisted on going to the hotel, getting them out of the room, and bringing them back across the lake to The Boat House. It was so thoughtful and not at all expected. These are the hoops this incredible team will jump through to make your special weekend go flawlessly. We went with the station style reception, and I was thrilled with how the night flowed. Because of this, we mingled all night (well, until the dance floor called our names). We hardly spent any time at our sweetheart table, but throughout the night Leslie and Geoff brought us drinks, appetizers, plates of food, and desserts. They made sure we were taken care of from the second we showed up in the afternoon, all the way through until the last shuttle left the property. What a truly amazing experience. We will return for many more years to come!

My wife and I knew the second we saw Lake Placid Club that this was the venue for us. Stunning views are everywhere you look. Leslie and her team took great care of us and made us feel like royalty on the big day. We were able to utilize the pavilion, interior and porch to create the perfect flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception/dinner/dancing. The staff changed over each section without disrupting anyone or anything. They made it easy to plan, too, and it was easy to coordinate with them and all our other vendors from our home in Syracuse, NY. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Boathouse restaurant and our welcome party and after party at the Crowne Plaza. The Crowne Plaza owns all locations, which simplified things for us. They’re also all very close to one another. Our wedding here was perfect - we’re hoping our friends and family book weddings at LPC so we can come back and enjoy it all over again.

Leslie at the Crowne Plaza made sure that all our wedding weekend details were taken care of. From making sure the groomsmen had a room to get ready to handing out welcome bags to all guests to managing Sunday morning brunch, Leslie made our lives easy over the course of the whole weekend.

Working with the Lake Placid Club team from the start was a breeze and an absolute joy. Top notch service, excellent response time, and a fantastic venue make planning a wedding from a distance so easy! If you are looking for a wedding venue (ceremony, cocktails, reception - the whole deal or even just part!), this is THE place to get married in Lake Placid. We changed things up a bit and had our ceremony inside, and our reception with dinner and dancing under the pavilion. Even though it was chilly and we had to put sides up on the pavilion and include heaters, it was magical. The pavilion is, structurally, a beautiful place to dance the night away. My husband and I will never forget this weekend, and the team at the Club and at the Crowne Plaza made such a big difference!!

If you are looking for a venue in Lake Placid for your wedding, this is it! The view is breathtaking, the venue is stunning, the food is delicious and the staff is phenomenal! Our day was absolutely perfect and the planning process to get there was very smooth thanks to Leslie and Sydney. Leslie and Sydney are extremely responsive and have weddings at this venue down to a science. They had wonderful ideas and suggestions that made our decision making easy. There is a timeline for the entire process that they hold you to that really helped. The venue is so gorgeous that décor can be limited or else you could take away from Adirondack beauty. The destination overall was a home-run for us and our guests. Most of our guests stayed at the Crowne Plaza, walking distance to Main Street. Our guests took full advantage of the location and spent an extra day to explore the town. Aside from the hotel being super convenient, we also held our rehearsal dinner at the Boat House (also owned and operated by the Crowne Plaza). We worked with Leslie and Sydney as well on this. Overall our guests raved about the location and the venue. It was nice that guests could be out on the dance floor, inside by the fire or outside by the fire pit relaxing and taking in the view. We highly recommend this venue for an Adirondack wedding!

Stunning location! The LPC exceeded our expectations in every way - the food was delicious, views unreal, and staff was on point. Leslie and Sydney were extremely easy to work with and responsive. We planned our wedding from Brooklyn and they made it so easy for our vision to come to life! The best wedding experience hands down.

I cannot recommend the LPC highly enough! Leslie was an outstanding partner throughout the entire process. She was always available for our questions, no matter how small, and her positive energy made her a delight to work with. The LPC is a perfect Adirondack venue, with near 180 degree views of the mountains and location near downtown makes it easy to navigate for our out of town guests. I visited almost every wedding venue in Lake Placid before deciding on the LPC and we are so happy with our decision. Thank you LPC for making our special day so memorable!

Choosing the LPC as our wedding venue was the best decision we made! I am a Lake Placid native and grew up visiting and working for the LPC and our wedding experience was better than we could have imagined and better than I ever remembered when I use to work weddings there. Leslie was amazing to work with from the start! She is professional, responsive, and does everything she can to make your day perfect. Everything from the pricing to the services was made very clear from the beginning and there were no surprises. Leslie communicated about every step of the process and that was very appreciated. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. The staff at LPC worked to make sure there were no flaws. They even fixed our seating chart that had broken during transport an hour before the ceremony! The atmosphere, food, and service went way beyond our expectations and our guests are still raving about how beautiful and perfect our wedding was. LPC is by far the best place in Lake Placid to have your wedding and I would recommend it to anyone!

Leslie and her team at the LPC are extremely great to work with. They always respond quickly, are very well organized, and will go out of their way to make sure every detail is perfect for the wedding. From booking the venue to coordinating vendors, this team brings their A game. They are very transparent about pricing and have lots of flexible options for meals/drink. We had the best wedding thanks to this incredible team. I highly highly recommend them.

We couldn't have found a more perfect venue for our wedding last month. The entire wedding planning experience was so easy thanks to our venue coordinator Leslie. Leslie was an absolute pleasure to work with; easy to communicate with, wonderful attention to detail and worked hard to ensure our wedding vision was carried through on our big day. The Lake Placid Club worked with our outside vendors to ensure set-up occurred smoothly and on time. I didn't have to worry about a single thing on our big day. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved our wedding - everything from the gorgeous venue, the delicious food and drinks, and the perfect views of the Adirondacks. This venue was especially meaningful to my husband and I as we got engaged on the summit of Mt. Marcy and the mountain could be seen from the pavilion where our ceremony took place. I am so happy we chose Lake Placid Club as our venue, I couldn't have imagined our wedding day anywhere else!

If we could do our wedding over again, there is no other place or staff that I would rather work with than LPC. Leslie and her staff were great hosts and made sure all the details were taken care of. There was great communication throughout the process and the Big Day turned out amazing. We got so many compliments on how great the food was and how beautiful the views were.

We have had multiple guests tell us that this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to! We barely had to decorate because the venue is so beautiful it doesn't need to be embellished. But the beauty of the venue is just the beginning! The service was amazing from the very beginning of the wedding planning process to clearing off the last table! Every correspondence was professional and timely. The staff at the club the night of the wedding was friendly, warm, efficient and made our night effortless. We were checked on but never felt bothered. We had plates of food made for us and they even attended to little details like making sure my lactose intolerance pills were hidden under my napkin so I could take them with dinner! I was happy and relaxed during my wedding because of the staff and setting. I can’t thank everyone at the Lake Placid club enough! This is the place to have your dream wedding :)

The Lake Placid Club was better than I could have ever imagined. It was the perfect wedding venue for us. The views, the food, event staff, really every aspect of the wedding was amazing. Leslie and Sidney, our event coordinators, could not have been nicer, more helpful, or more attentive to anything we needed. They made the wedding so special and everything went so smoothly I cannot think of any way that it could have been better. The location is great because you get the feel of privacy in the Adirondack even though you are a short walk from main street or the hotels. Also, I don’t know if a better view exists for a wedding venue. The Adirondack Mountains view from the Lake Placid Club is breathtaking. I have been coming to Lake Placid my whole life and don’t think there is a better view from anywhere else in town. We have had many friends and family members repeatedly tell us that is was the best wedding they have ever attended and the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever seen. If you are looking for a beautiful and memorable wedding venue you could not do better than the Lake Placid Club.

The Lake Placid Golf Club was a beautiful venue for our daughter's wedding. Magnificent views of the Adirondack High Peaks. Our guests were over whelmed with the beauty. The food was exceptional, staff was friendly and Leslie our coordinator was so helpful. She met with us several times in planning the event, and assisted us in setting up for the reception down to the Adirondack Guide Boat filled with beer!

If you are thinking of having your rehearsal dinner at Lake Placid Boathouse,here is my experience,The Venue was spectacular!!!the waitstaff was attentive and efficient and friendly.My guests were treated like royalty.The Food was fabulous,from the cocktail hour to the dinner everything was delicious and guests remarked how perfect everything was. The person who made this happen was Leslie Mella the Crowne Plaza Meeting Director. She was over the top with efficiency,everything was coordinated perfectly,She was accommodating right down to the smallest detail.I will definitely consider having more events at the venue ,Thanks to Leslie and the wait staff.

Our experience at the Lake Placid Club Golf House for our wedding and reception was exceptional. The process leading up to our big day went smoothly. Once we paid our deposit, we were given a schedule of payments that would be due along with when various documents should be submitted. Leslie and Sydney were very good about sending out reminders for these things and also very prompt at answering the multitude of questions we had for them. Since we are not from Lake Placid, they were our eyes for decoration planning and were more than willing to send descriptions and measurements so we could plan. The view from the Pavilion as a backdrop to our ceremony was STUNNING even on a cloudy, rainy, windy, day!! The dining room looked amazing when all the tables were set up and the massive fireplace and chandelier added so much to the Adirondack ambiance of the room. Leslie and her staff were incredibly efficient, helpful and attentive in guiding us and our guests through the last minute changes required due to weather. I loved that someone made up a plate of the appetizers for my husband and me since we were taking pictures and greeting our guests and might not have gotten any otherwise. Which brings us to the food…. It was AMAZING!!! Everything was cooked to perfection, presented beautifully and absolutely delicious!! The bartenders were great too! Friendly and efficient so no one had to wait long to get their glass filled. Our guests have complemented us several times since the wedding on what a fabulous place we picked. We agree. The Lake Placid Club Golf House is the perfect place for memorable wedding and reception.

Our daughter's wedding was held this past weekend (May 5, 2018) at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Lake Placid-Golf Club. From the time that planning began, one year ago, it has been a pleasure working with Leslie to see all the ideas come together to create a spectacular and special weekend! The beauty of the Adirondack Mtns. is captured from the wedding pavilion, all of our guests felt it looked like a back drop, not to be believed! The wooden beams, the stonework and the mountain air cannot be imagined, unless you see if for yourself. The pavilion makes for a lovely, almost chapel-like setting. Using a birch arch that was rented, was perfect for the bride and groom to exchange their vows in front of. Connected through an open airway walk, is the outdoor patio for the cocktail hour, again, with the spectacular view for all to enjoy. All this is set next to the magnificent golf course, which adds to the beauty. Just inside the patio, is the indoor reception hall, complete with large stone fireplace and mantel, as well as antler chandeliers......MAGIC! The Adirondack decor is indigenous, uniquely combined with elegance. What was additionally wonderful about this venue, is that we were able to create a setting with centerpieces, lanterns, wood rounds, flowers and greens that brought our daughter's vision to life within the setting. The beautiful scenery gives you everything to work with, and the buildings themselves are each spectacular! Our guests are still talking about the Lake Placid Golf Resort and we know that plenty of them plan to return on their own with their families. There is magic in the air, and everyone gets to share in it!

Our wedding at the Lake Placid Club in October was amazing! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the views, and venue was. The staff was friendly, attentive, and the food was delicious. My husband and I live 6 hours away from Lake Placid but Leslie was there every step of the way and made the process stress free. She answered any questions we had quickly and was wonderful to work with! I highly recommend this venue, you will not be disappointed!

Every single thing about this place rocked. From the views, to the pricing to the staff and everything. Leslie was so accommodating as we live 5 hours away and was always there to answer questions and in constant contact with us. We had a few special requests and they were all fulfilled. If you have your wedding anywhere else in Placid, you’re wrong.

My daughter's wedding was perfect. The reception was in the pavilion of the LPC- early September- had unusually cold weekend and rain on the day of the wedding. Leslie and her staff were amazing- anticipating the weather, she was in constant contact with us. knowing we wanted the reception outside- she had everything ready- pavilion sides on and heaters out! Our guests were warm, dry and enjoyed a wonderful night of dancing. The food was excellent, views amazing and service perfect. All of our guests were from out of town, and are still talking about the wonderful weekend in Lake Placid, and the great time at the LPC. This is a perfect place to host a wedding-I would definitely recommend the LPC and Leslie! Thanks for helping to make my daughter's wedding perfect!

What an amazing venue! They whole experience was fantastic from start to finish and it could not have been a more gorgeous location. Leslie was our main contact and she incredible as well- she was very responsive to each and every one of our MANY questions and worked with us to ensure we were getting everything we wanted. I highly recommend this venue, there wasn't a thing I would have changed.

We got married this past September and couldn't have asked for a better venue! Everything was indeed top notch! Leslie was our coordinator and was beyond fabulous during the whole planning process! We got married this September at The Lake Placid Club and our wedding was perfect! We wanted an Adirondack wedding with gorgeous views and could not have asked for better than the LPC. Our ceremony was under the pavilion with gorgeous mountains in the background. The cocktail hour was also outside with the same amazing view. While we were taking family photos the rest of the guests were taking tons of pictures of the view. Many guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to. Also, having the ceremony and reception all at the same location made it so easy for our guests to enjoy themselves and not have to worry about find the next location. Our reception was indoors but with the windows overlooking the golf course you never lost the view of the high peaks. Our coordinator Leslie was just as fantastic as the venue. Any and every question we asked she helped us with. She was always so quick with her responses. The day of the wedding Leslie did such amazing job that I didn’t have to worry about anything. She took the stress away from the day which just left us to sit back and enjoy our day. The Lake Placid Club was everything that we wanted and made our wedding perfect!

Daughters wedding October 8 at the Gulf House was absolutely incredible. The venue perfect! Beautiful presentation. Food was amazing..Found entire staff to very accommodating and exceptional. Leslie Melba and Donald Whitmore are the best !

There is no doubt that this wedding will be remembered forever...thank you to Leslie and Donald and their amazing staff who worked so well with Fine Affairs of Saratoga, to see that everything that we talked about and our daughters planned was delivered including the most perfect weather amidst the October colors! Our guests raved about the food , saying it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. As the host parents, we are so happy that our girls selected LPClub!

My wedding was last Sunday and I can not stop thinking about how PERFECT everything was thanks to the amazing people at LPC! The food was outstanding and the views were to die for. Every guest said it was the best wedding they have ever been too! I would have every single event here that I could! There was not one single issue on my special day! Thanks Leslie!

We hosted a welcome party for out of town guests at the Boat House at the Lake Placid Club for our wedding weekend. It was truly incredible. The staff (shout out to Amy and Leslie) was amazing - attentive, friendly, professional, and responsive. They helped us throw an incredible party on short notice. Our guests were blown away with how beautiful the Boat House was - cozy and elegant. We loved the views of Mirror Lake. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was amazing. We would recommend anyone to use this beautiful venue and the dream team that comes with it!

We got married at the Lake Placid Club this September and our experience was nothing short of amazing. Leslie and her team are professional, straight forward, detail oriented and customer focused. Leslie was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process - she's extremely organized and knows how to pull off an AMAZING wedding!! The wait staff during our reception was also incredible - they moved fast and met every guest's requests quickly. Fairly priced and overall, we couldn't have better things to say about our experience with LPC! Not to mention the venue has the best view, all of our guests enjoyed it!! I cannot express enough how PERFECT this venue is. Everything about the LPC is the best ever. Let's start with simply how beautiful the venue is. No fancy decorations needed! Next, the food was the best food I've ever had at a wedding. From the appetizers to the main course, everything tasted so yummy. It's been a week since my wedding and people are still raving about the food. I've been told by multiple people that the LPC had the best hors d'oeuvres they've ever had. Not to mention the most tender, flavorful steak I have had! Finally, I need to rave about Leslie- who is by far the best part about this place. I planned the entire wedding from D.C. but I couldn't have done it without her. Stuff that I never would have thought of in a million years; she dutifully had plans for. She is a huge reason that my wedding day was the best day of my life. So many brides say they were super stressed on their wedding day but she literally took all the stress away so I could have the perfect day. She is an excellent asset to the LPC and I would recommend this venue to anyone. Well worth every last penny. Thank you for the best day ever!!

PERFECT. From the first steps of walking through the venue my now husband and I knew we had to get married there! The view is spectacular and the layout is perfect for ceremony and reception site. We worked with Leslie as our event coordinator and we honestly can not say enough great things about her. She was friendly, professional, and organized. From the first planning stages to the wedding day she made us feel prepared and I went into my wedding with minimal stress, knowing I had Leslie helping us. We had our rehearsal dinner at the boat house, the ceremony under pavilion then reception in golf house. Not one complaint from any of our guests! Food was great, they even created an all vegetarian menu for us. My wedding went smoothly with out any problems. Leslie understood our "vision" and brought it to fruition. The wedding itself was beautiful and all my guests continue to rave about it! I highly recommend Lake Placid Club and Leslie!! Made my wedding absolutely perfect!!!

My daughter was married on August 18th, 2017 at the Lake Placid Golf Club. Gorgeous views of the Adirondacks! Our wedding coordinator, Leslie Mella, was a joy to work with! Every detail was attended to in a professional and caring manner! I was told by many of our guests this "was the most beautiful" wedding they had ever attended!

Our late august wedding at the Lake Placid Club was PERFECT. The venue itself is stunning-- guests couldn't help but get up all evening to snap photos of the sunset over the mountains. Plus, the food was amazing (go for the Halibut!), and the staff was incredibly accommodating and sensitive to food allergies. Finally, working with Leslie was an absolute pleasure. she made the entire planning process fun and easy. Leslie and her team were incredibly communicative, creative, flexible, thoughtful and efficient and the whole evening went off without a hitch. She turned all of my requests and ideas into reality and was incredible patient and supportive in the process. Look no further than the LPC if you're hoping to plan a Lake Placid wedding-- they're the best!

Lake Placid Club went above and beyond my expectations on our Wedding day! They cater to your every need, make the planning process as easy as possible, and on top of that have the best view in Lake Placid! Words Cannot describe how perfect our day was, and I wouldn't of been possible without the help of Leslie our wedding coordinator. The Crowne Plaza Hotel and The Boat House restaurant I also want to give 5 stars to for there excellent service. I highly recommend The Golf Club for future brides, perfect site for entertaining, weather proof venue and ceremony site, exceptional service and great staff! From beginning to end the Lake Placid Club was amazing. Our planner, Leslie, was so helpful and responsive almost daily! The wedding and ceremony was beautiful. I cannot say enough about this venue and the help from all the LP.

The venue was perfect, the food was yummy, Catherine was very helpful in all the planning. Nothing at all went wrong, and it was so nice to be able to utilize the space for the ceremony, the reception, and the porch were great for cocktail hour and cooling off from dancing the night away. My guests are still talking about the lovely view and location. Would highly recommend.

This was an outstanding venue. Catherine was a treat to work with from the very beginning of our experience. She went above and beyond with everything, from the big picture to all of the tiny details. Leslie also helped greatly at the event. Catherine had just had a baby before our wedding, so Leslie stepped in - and Catherine still managed to stop by before the ceremony to wish me well and to make sure everything was as it should be. Truly, Kevin and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was good - I wish I had been able to enjoy more of it - so my advice to future couples is to make sure you ask the venue to wrap up some and bring it to your room. All in all though, it was an amazing night. We totally want to book that space again in a few years for another big party with the Silver Arrow Band! Thank you SO much Catherine and Leslie!

From the view, to the professionalism, and the food, LPC was indeed top notch! We've heard from our guests (the majority of whom traveled to LP for the first time) how fantastic everything was (many said it was the best wedding they've ever attended) over and over again. My husband and I couldn't be happier with LPC. Leslie, our coordinator, was more than we ever expected. She was attentive, polite, responsive, proactive, and genuine. We absolutely loved working with her. Thank you so much Leslie! If you're looking for a venue with a view and options to be outside, LPC is the place for you.

I could not have been happier with our March wedding with the Crown Plaza Resort. When choosing our wedding venue came my future wife and I thought we would be in for a very hard decision. We had contacted a few of the Lake Placid venues and upon speaking with Catherine the wedding coordinator at the Crowne Plaza our choice was made very easy. Her helpfulness and great attitude was beyond that of anyone else we had spoken with. With months of planning our wedding day was approaching quick. Catherine's itinerary and scheduling really helped us with keeping everything flowing smoothly. They helped us not only set up our beautiful venue but also helped us clean up our belongings late into the end of the night. Their staff was very friendly and always had a smile on their face. They all helped serve and make our friends and families night one to truely remember. The hors d'oeuvre and dinner where some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding and I'm not just being biased because i was the groom. My wife and I couldn't have been any happier with Catherine and the Crowne Plaza Resort. They made our wedding dream come true. You would not regret making them your future wedding venue.

Catherine helped make our wedding planning effortless and guided us every step of the way! We were living in Connecticut during our planning and she helped connect us with vendors and gave us a bunch of ideas to help make our day absolutely perfect. Catherine constantly communicated with us and made sure that we were always on track. Setting deadlines and always being available for advice and questions made the process so easy. The venue was beyond gorgeous and the staff was all so friendly and helpful - we received so many complements. I would do it all over in a heartbeat and highly recommend this venue to anyone!

We had our wedding at the Lake Placid Club this past September and everything was absoloutly spectacular. Catherine and Leslie made sure every detail was just right and were great help during our planning process. The views were gorgeous (stunning mountain backdrop) food was delishious and the staff were very attentive. We received so many complements from our guest on what an amazing venue we choose and how they loved the food and the cocktail and reception spaces. I cannot say enough how happy and perfect our day was at Lake Placid Club. Thanks again!!!!

We had a beautiful autumn rehearsal dinner at the Lake Placid Club Boat House on Mirror Lake. The venue was gorgeous, the food superb, and the service top-notch! The Club was very accommodating and we worked with staff to create an evening that was truly our own! It was a very positive experience and we would recommend the Crowne Plaza (especially the Boat House) in a heartbeat!

We got married sept 24th of this past year and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect day!! Leading up to the big day Catherine and Leslie were both amazing at keeping us organized and relaxed! Everything about the venue, set up, planning process and food was absolutely perfect!! I wouldn't have changed one thing!!

We had a truly wonderful experience. I was dreading the planning aspects of the day but Catherine and Leslie actually made the whole process very enjoyable and fun! They were really good at helping us ask questions and informing us of our options. The venue itself is really beautiful. You could probably get away with zero decorations and it would still be beautiful. That being said the views are second to none. We were there over Canadian Thanksgiving (early)/Columbus day and the leaves were peaking. Luckily the cloud cover was fairly high so we could see the High Peaks. The facility with it two covered pavilions really affords a lot of flexibility. We had our cocktails outside with the help of some movable heaters but ultimately chose to move the dancing inside because the temperature dipped quite a bit throughout the evening. The staff set up a fire which was greatly appreciated. The catering staff of the venue are really top notch. They are so quick and efficient. I do not think there was much of a lag between the first and last tables being served. They also did a great job of setting up the cocktail hors d'oeuvres as well as the dessert table. The staff was also very helpful in tearing down at the end of the night which was really appreciated. In addition, to all of that they were incredibly pleasant. Food-wise: wow! People were surprised that we did not do a tasting in advanced but we had read a lot of the reviews and everyone raved about the food so we decided to risk it. It really is that good! I wish I had had more time to check out the cheese and cracker and crudités displays but it looked nice and the passed hors d'oeuvres were amazing. We opted for three courses (appetizer, salad, main) and I thought they were terrific. The appetizer was a savoury onion tart - probably my favourite. We chose the Adirondack salad. It was nice fresh and well plated. Our entrées were the steak and halibut and from what I could see there were a lot of members of the 'clean plate club'. It was pretty tough to choose those courses - everything sounded so good! We also opted for some late night pizza. Probably not necessary given how much everyone ate but still delicious! So, some nice bonuses offer by the Lake Placid Club: 1) you can bring in your own dessert at no extra cost. Not even a cutting fee! They just wanted a head's up so that the staff know what you need in terms of plates and stuff. 2) you need to bring a step stool to decorate the fireplace mantle. It's really high. That being said Catherine reminded us several times :-) 3) Catherine and Leslie do not bog you down with extras that will cost you! In the case of the moveable heaters it was a game-time decision. 4) they work with local vendors and producers so you really are getting great quality food. For the duration of the planning process we really felt valued. At no time did Catherine or Leslie make us feel like we were wasting their time. They were very prompt in their responses and made sure to follow-up on outstanding items. On the whole, I would recommend the Lake Placid Club. I think the value we got was amazing and most importantly our guests had a great time!!
