We highly recommend booking Lee if you need a DJ for your wedding/event in the Adirondack/Lake Placid area! He was so fantastic to work with and truly went above and beyond. He stuck to our song selection and order, and had everyone dancing until the end of the night. Lee was also great at helping to keep things moving, and was even there early to help with the ceremony. On top of that, he even ended up being our boat driver post ceremony when we went out on the lake at Golden Arrow, not sure there are too many DJs out there that can do that! He is such a genuine person, and we always felt like he truly wanted to help make the day exactly what we wanted - part of this included not being too over the top with party hyping, although none of that was needed since he did such a great job with the music! Lee - thank you for everything and also for the lovely wine bottle as a wedding gift!

I cannot recommend hiring Lee enough for your wedding DJ! Lee was truly so incredible to work with from start to finish. He is incredibly responsive, was so easy to work with to reschedule when made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to covid restrictions, and even helped us pull off the ultimate surprise for our guests at our reception! Lee is truly incredible at what he does and went above and beyond the day of our wedding to make sure everything went perfectly from the ceremony music to keeping the dance floor flowing all night! We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than Lee! He was great during the planning process, as he helped us figure out the best order of events for our evening and gave us the opportunity to personalize our music requests for all portions of our event. Lee was absolutely incredible! We booked Lee a year and a half before our wedding. A friends sister used Lee for her wedding. I didn’t get the opportunity to meet Lee prior to our wedding day..thank you Covid. But, he did NOT disappoint! The dance floor was a hit. The sound system was incredible. Lee was very personable, and very upbeat. I would highly recommend him to any bride and groom!

Lee was wonderful and so easy to work with! Prior to our wedding, we chatted with him about what we were looking for and filled out a wedding plan. Lee is an absolute dream to work with! He’s great on the mic for the moments that need it, but still lets the music do what it’s supposed to - keep your guests on the dance floor! Our guests had such a great time and the dance floor was always full. I cannot recommend working with Lee enough!

So happy with our decision to choose Lee. From understanding our music selection and vibe for each moment, executing the specific songs in the right moments, listening in to all of our asks along the way, and ensuring that the "production" elements of the event goes along as planned. My wife and I tend to enjoy our company too much at times, and Lee was great to respectfully redirect us to our thank you speech, our introductions, and all of our goal timelines that he fully understood and fulfilled. Without him, we would have lost track of our own goals for the evening and so, appreciate what he brought to the table for our wedding. I am very specific and critical of music as a lifelong lover of shows, events etc., if there is a cut or transition that feels drastic I can be deterred, I will say that Lee was able to get me out there, and keep me out there, my only breaks were to grab a drink, wipe sweat from my brow, and use the bathroom. Otherwise he had us breaking the dance floor (true story).

Let me be very clear about this- I did not want to hire a DJ because I am THAT picky with music and vibes. The biggest thing I cared about/looking forward to was breaking it down on the dance floor with my girls. Lee COMPLETELY exceeded our expectations. Not only did he see us through the pandemic (and did not capitalize on our postponement), he respectfully saw my husband and I through our entire day of timeline (ceremony, speeches, cake cutting). He played every single song we wanted (sports chants, spanish, hip hop, etc.), managed some electrical mishaps with our venue, and made sure our guests had the night of their lives. We broke two glasses, the dance floor came apart, and everyone needed to change for the after party because they were THAT sweaty from dancing. I was so nervous about booking all of our vendors (as Lake Placid was a destination wedding for us) but I can absolutely assure you Lee has your back no matter what. Book this man now for everything. He's a class act. Lastly, I will close with great thanks and a direct quote from a hotel guest the next day after our wedding "We heard you guys when we came in last night and it sounded like you were having a rave". Here's to Lee for giving us the wedding we always wanted!!!

We're so thrilled that we hired Lee to DJ our wedding! His style exactly fit our smaller, more laid-back wedding, and he easily rolled with all the last-minute requests we threw his way during the reception. Lee was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding DJ - not showy and kept the night flowing seamlessly from cocktail hour, to introductions, speeches and first dances. Lee was great! He was so professional throughout the entire process and went above and beyond in our planning process (including by helping us find a wedding day babysitter in the area for a friend)! Lee helped us figure out our wedding timeline and was flexible on the night of when things had to be adjusted. He was very communicative ahead of the wedding so that we knew what events (such as first dance, wedding party entrance, etc) we'd need to pick songs for and so that we were clear with him on what kind of music we wanted. He kept things moving smoothly throughout the wedding and played exactly the type of music we'd requested. He also manned our wedding Zoom and ceremony music for no extra fee. We were really happy with our decision!

Lee is a dream DJ. Exactly what we wanted, someone who can get the party started but isn't going overboard on the MC-ing. Lee talked through everything with us and we felt super prepared come wedding day. We also veered away from a lot of traditional stuff and Lee helped us have the exact wedding day flow that we wanted. Lee has great taste in music, got in everything we wanted but added his own stuff in that he knew would make sense with the vibe we were going for. Basically, Lee is amazing!!

Lee (Lake Placid DJ) is fantastic! From our first phone call, he was professional, approachable, and knowledgeable. He knows all of the ins and outs of what you need from a DJ on your wedding day, and lets you know exactly what you can expect from him (no record scratching). I really want to highlight his flexibility, two of our guests put together a slideshow and he worked with them the day of our wedding to hook up the slideshow to his sound equipment. We also had a super late notice time change to our ceremony and he was able to get there an hour early. I cannot say enough good things about Lee, my husband and I would rate him higher if we could!

After searching everywhere for a DJ, we finally found Lee and after our first phone call with him knew he would be perfect for our wedding! He cares so much about his clients and is so willing to go out of his way (literally) to make their dream a reality. He was willing to travel several hours outside his immediate area to our venue, without even batting an eye. Lee was phenomenal to work with. He is super responsive. If I had any questions he got back to me that same day. He was extremely helpful in helping us pick out music for our ceremony and reception. Guests were on the dance floor the entire night. I had guests come up to me and tell me that was the most they had ever danced at a wedding. Lee is extremely professional; I cannot recommend him enough.

Lee was a true professional. He executed perfectly. We explained what we wanted; a full dance floor with some pre-chosen music choices, and not a lot of "emcee" requirements. He met with staff at the venue and really did everything on his own, to the point where he was the last thing we ever had to worry about. Lee was always ready when we had a request, or a last min change up. Could not endorse him more.

Lee was a great DJ! He communicated well before our wedding date and answered any of our questions. Our wedding was in September at Whiteface Lodge and Lee knew the venue very well. Lee is seriously the best ever. Everyone at our wedding thought he was amazing, and was busy dancing all night long! He helped us so much with planning - we worked on a Google doc with music preferences and song choices. Lee was so much than a DJ for us - he kept the whole night moving smoothly, from getting everyone set for introductions, seated for dinner, back out for our first dance and cake cutting. Lee was such a pro too, no one saw him when he would come touch base with us and let us know what was next. He also had the best personality and was always joking with us (DJ Rand Paul!). I seriously couldn’t recommend Lee highly enough!

From the moment we sat down to share a drink with Lee, we knew he was the perfect fit!! He immediately made us feel calm and comfortable, as if we were working with a good friend! Not only did he do a spectacular job with the logistics and details necessary for a great DJ setup, he helped us on numerous other occasions with questions and concerns about wedding planning and the Adirondack region in general. Being from out of state, we planned a lot of our wedding “sight unseen” - but with Lee we were never concerned! Throughout planning, we easily communicated with him whenever necessary. We can’t say enough about how awesome Lee was to work with! We were introduced to him through my sister who works with Lee often in Lake Placid since they are both in the wedding/event biz. My sister and I both LOVE music so when she suggested Lake Placid DJ — I didn’t have to think twice, and I never regretted it once! We live in NH and got married on Big Moose Lake in the ADK. We worked back and forth with Lee via Google docs a couple of months leading up to the big day and it was very stress free. The day of the wedding I didn’t worry about any of the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception because I knew he had it covered. He kept the pace of the evening going very smoothly — which is a huge feat with 200 guests at an outdoor wedding. He even went above and beyond while we were taking pictures during cocktail hour and announced names to help my photographer out and keep things moving along. Many of our guests didn’t even realize he was our DJ, they just thought he was a cool guest that was enjoying himself and helping out when needed. He’s super friendly, professional, and knows his stuff when it comes to DJing! Lee made our wedding day extra special, and we would definitely recommend hiring him for any event!

We had a somewhat unique experience with Lee, as our wedding was not in the Lake Placid area. We went to a wedding he DJ'd of our friends in Lake Placid, and when we had ours in New Jersey we reached out to him because we had so much fun at our friends' wedding. We weren't sure if he would agree to travel so far but he did (10 hours round trip, WOW), and we were so glad we got him! Our wedding was far away, we were particular about our music, we took a looong time filling out his forms, and we had some odd requests for songs/entrances/extra speeches BUT Lee was fantastic with everything, super accommodating, and very prompt with his emails & professional. We did not want to have one of those weddings where the songs are all blended together and there's lots of EDM/club type music - we felt very strongly about this! Lee played so many of the songs we requested (even the odd ones) and he also took requests from guests and put in his own picks so there was a good mix. It was exactly what we wanted in terms of music selection. As an MC, he struck the perfect tone for us - he could get the party started but wasn't overly cheesy or showy. Everyone had a wonderful time at the wedding and there was lots of dancing! Before the wedding he also offered us great advice for logistics on speeches, entrances, etc. As a nice bonus, Lee also brought some colorful lights (kind of like a disco ball) - this was not something we had discussed but I was so happy he brought it because it added something special to the dancing portion of the night! Overall, my husband and I highly recommend Lee to anyone who wants to use him - he will do a fantastic job and go above & beyond for you!!!

Lee was the absolute best! We had a very small wedding with about 60 guests and he kept our entire crowd dancing all night long. He was able to play a slideshow of family photos from throughout the years from both sides of the family (bride's and groom's) during the beginning of dinner and then went straight into the all night long dancing and song requests for our guests. Our wedding ceremony and reception could not have gone any more smoothly without the help of Lee Kyler. It was a beautiful day with some amazing people and I am so glad that Lee was there to help us celebrate our best day ever!! Lee did an absolutely amazing job at our August wedding and I am so happy we hired him! Our wedding took place at the Golden Arrow and Generations Restaurant. He was already familiar with the venue and staff and he handled the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception seamlessly. From the moment the dance floor opened to the last song of the night the dance floor was never empty. He did a great job of getting all ages up and moving. We only requested a handful of songs and the rest was all him! Thank you for everything, Lee! We could not have asked for a better day!

Lee DJ'd our wedding in July 2019 in Quechee, VT and my husband and I could not have been happier with his service. Lee is tasteful, organized, responsive to communication, fun, and adapted to our needs seamlessly. During planning, Lee sent over some planning information and set up a shared online document for planning the day. He is a master at making sure no detail is overlooked, without overwhelming us with decisions. Everything just worked and was stress free and easy to plan with him. On the day of, he was the first vendor to show up, ahead of schedule (despite traveling farther than anyone else). He quietly set up his equipment, kept the venue's day-of coordinator in the loop, and had everything ready to go. We had our 7 year old nephew do a short reading during the ceremony and Lee even accommodated that by setting up a short microphone stand for him to use. You truly appreciate things like this when you realize after the fact that you dropped the ball on it, but your DJ thought of everything and made it happen. After cocktail hour, he took the initiative to round people up for reception introductions. He swiftly and clearly let everyone know how introductions would happen and where they need to be. These are the little things you don't go through at rehearsal, but thanks to Lee it all went smoothly! During the reception Lee read the crowd extremely well and kept churning out song after song that kept people dancing, in good spirits, and having a great time. We had a short planning process and didn't give Lee a ton of direction in terms of a play list, but somehow he managed to hit things right ton the spot and play tons of our favorite bands/artists, and mixed in enough crowd favorites. A great mix of great music. As an emcee. His announcements were perfect. He has presence and charisma, without ever being brash or obnoxious. The music was the perfect volume, and never overbearing loud, as I've experienced at some weddings. His equipment (Bose system) sounded great too. Lee was just one of many moving parts in our wedding, but he was rock solid, reliable, professional, fun, and a master at his craft. His pricing was also extremely reasonable, especially given all the leg work he did, both before and on the day of the wedding. Our VT wedding was a destination event for us, but I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone within his geographical reaches. Thanks Lee!

My husband I got married in Lake Placid this past weekend and during our DJ research, we came across Lee's name and his amazing reviews. From the minute we talked to him on the phone about what we were looking for, we knew he was the one for our wedding! His communication was great, he was super friendly and personable, and his sound system was amazing (in fact I received many compliments throughout the night about how great the music sounded)! He made sure he played all of our requests, enforced our do not plays, took requests from our guests, and had the crowd on the dance floor the entire night! Lake Placid DJ deserves way more than 5 stars! Hiring Lee was the best decision we made for our wedding!! He's extremely friendly, accommodating, and flexible. Upon hiring, he answered all my questions right away and even went above and beyond to provide babysitting recommendations for many of my guests. Lee is a class act who was very patient with my never-ending song requests. The dance floor was a hit because of him!

Our experience with Lake Placid DJ was AWESOME, START TO FINISH! Leading up to our big day, Lee took every opportunity to meet with us, both in person, and over the phone, sometimes on a daily basis, to make sure everything was set just the way we wanted it. Lee's attention to detail along with his flexibility, and humor certainly helped make our wedding night one of the best of our lives. Since our wedding we have received MANY compliments about our reception, specifically the music. One our cousins (8 years old) informed us, after about 3 hours of dancing, that his knees hurt, but that he just couldn't stop! Lee knows how to keep a crowd moving and engaged! Choosing Lake Placid DJ for our wedding at The Whiteface Lodge was absolutely one of the best decisions my husband and I made in the planning. Lee worked seamlessly with us to create the exact vibe that my husband (who is VERY picky) and I were looking for. He also did a fantastic job of guiding the wedding festivities so that the day flowed from the ceremony in one building, all the way to the last dance in the next. We even had a few extra speeches and a dress change to navigate and I never had to worry that it was going to all work out. If you are having an Adirondack Wedding, Lake Placid DJ is THE person to book. He covered every single base there is and it was a very seamless process. I actually had a lot of fun editing the Google doc that we both shared to compose the perfect timetable and requests. Got an outdoor ceremony in the middle of January? He'll provide music. Cocktail hour? Got it. Wedding games or cultural traditions you want to include? Covered. Druncles (Drunk Uncles) making speeches? He will quietly subdue them perfectly! Everything was on a great timetable that flowed easily throughout the evening. I was actually hoping for some down time to rest my feet, but the music was too good and there was never a 'lull,' on the dance floor. Class act and very personable. I give Lee my highest recommendation to anyone planning a wedding.

Lee is AMAZING! We knew he was the DJ for us the second we talked to him on the phone. He went above and beyond with communication leading up to the wedding, and was on it the day of! He not only kept the events on track, but he helped with everything in between. He helped us set up for our night portrait at the venue and even grabbed some beautiful photos throughout the day. Lee was absolutely fantastic to work with. He made everything so easy! He provided a Google document for us to use to share all of our details, including what we'd like to play and not play, timeline, etc., and that meant we could update it from anywhere. Communication was awesome! I (the bride) got ready in a building separate from where our ceremony and reception were, but when I arrived at the ceremony and reception, everything was perfect, set up, and ready to go. That kind of reliability is super important when you've already got so many other things going on. He helped us keep things on schedule during dinner, and once the fun started, he did a perfect job playing exactly what got our guests on the dance floor in the first 10 seconds of starting the reception, along with everything we'd requested. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough good things about Lee, he was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish. He made the whole process so easy leading up to the big day and both our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch thanks in large part to his suggestions and organization. Lee did all of the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception (a long day!) and kept us on track. We gave him a list of songs that were 'must plays' (via GoogleDoc - very convenient!) and he took it from there, creating a great playlist that kept everyone on the dance floor and having a great time. He even played songs that fit perfectly with our tastes that weren't even on the list! Our guests were absolutely raving about the party/music, I even overheard one friend saying that she wished he would play a song she didn't like so that she could finally sit down! He easily took requests and did a great job reading the crowd. As a Canadian couple planning a destination wedding in Lake Placid who had to hire almost all of our vendors based on online reviews, we would say: do not hesitate in booking Lee for your wedding, you won't be disappointed and your guests will still be talking about the fun party they had for days afterwards!

Lee was amazingly easy to work with. My wife and I had him provide music only for our reception because we had an ensemble for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. He was nothing but professional in all our encounters and was willing to meet with us before our wedding to discuss what we were thinking and looking for. He even provided lighting which we were not expecting until we met with him! Overall, he kept the party moving and got things done in a timely fashion. He accommodated all our requests and helped to make it the best night ever. Our wedding was almost 2 weeks ago and we are still getting compliments on how great the entertainment was! We couldn't be any happier with his service.

Leading up to our wedding day Lee was great with communicating and regularly kept in touch. He shared a Google Doc with us so we could add details at our leisure and so the most up-to-date version was always available. As for music, we made playlists on Spotify and shared them with Lee and he was able to easily play the songs in addition to taking requests. Lee was kind, professional and easy to work with. While he stuck closely to the songs we had asked for, his experience reading the crowd led him to switch up some of the music to keep people dancing. He asked for our permission first, and of course we trusted him and went along with his suggestion! Lee was great at making adjustments as needed, and when the timeline of our evening inevitably got a little off track, he did a great job with keeping our wedding flowing smoothly. Our guests didn't even notice anything was out of place!

Just had our wedding on 11/11/17 in Lake Placid and Lee was fantastic. Lee was great since day one when I emailed him to inquire about his service. He was extremely easy to talk to and informative, I knew he was the right one for us. Lee was like my second wedding coordinator on the wedding day, he was running around making sure everything was perfect. We had a very small wedding but everyone had tons of fun. We ended the night with a sing-along to a Backstreet Boys song. How fun was that?! We love you, Lee! Highly, highly recommended.

I don't think I'm being biased when I saw that Lee is the best DJ we've ever seen at a wedding. He was absolute pleasure to work with, calm, and made some great suggestions to help[ the night flow smoothly. We gave him a few songs we definitely wanted him to play along with an idea of the type of music we liked, and he created an AMAZING playlist. I knew and LOVED every song he played,. and even lost my voice a little from singing along. I heard a few guests say that every time they thought about taking a break, another song came on that kept them on the dance floor. There were people I thought for sure wouldn't dance, but Lee got them moving as well! We had a brunch for our guests the following morning, and everyone kept telling us how much fun they had dancing. It was EXACTLY what we wanted for our wedding. thank you again, Lee, for helping make our wedding perfect and FUN!!!

Huge kudos to Lee of Lake Placid DJ. Coming from NYC we wanted an Adirondack Wedding. Other DJ's we spoke to in the area seemed a bit too cheesy. Lee limited announcements, respected our choices for songs selection, and took requests from guests. He was dressed better than me and his equipment sounded sweet! Do you research, then call Lee, you wont be disappointed!

Lee did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding at smoke signals in Lake Placid. Planning a wedding from 3 hours away is difficult enough and Lee made the whole event go flawlessly. Both him and his wife were so thoughtful and so caring. The music was fantastic and people danced all night long. Lee was even thoughtful enough to coordinate with my stepfather to play a meaningful song for the mother son dance. He was flexible and incredibly easy to work with. He made sure to get us snacks, took great pictures and video of our special moments. Highly highly recommend for anyone. Thank you again Lee for all of your help. My fiancé and I booked Lake Placid Dj 12 months prior to our wedding based upon our local Wedding Planners recommendation. We hired Lee for our entire wedding including Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception. He included a mic for ceremony was super flexible with setup and timing of the day. Our dance floor was packed and our guests were able to recommend songs that that Lee was able to play almost instantly. However, our favorite part about working with Lee was his prompt correspondence throughout the planning process. Thank you!!

Do yourself a favor and hire Lee to DJ your wedding. We looked into DJ's in the area and chose Lee for our July wedding because he was the only person who was not a company. We dealt with Lee start to finish - he responded to emails / phone calls instantly and helped us with the overall planning process. On the day of the event he was more of a coordinator and planner than a DJ. He did a great job with music selection and people were dancing all night long! We couldn't be happier with how our day went and we recommend him highly to anyone looking for a DJ!
