My wedding flowers were an absolute DREAM for my September 2020 wedding. The ladies in the shop were extremely helpful and responsive. I was able to work with Lisa through email to get exactly what I was looking for at my small wedding.

Lisa was wonderful to work with! We decided to elope in Lake Placid so I only needed a bouquet and boutonniere. I am the last person that knows anything about flowers so she had me send her pictures and tell her what I liked and what I didn't like about each. She read my mind because my bouquet was absolutely perfect and what I had always pictured in my head. The boutonniere matched perfectly and was just right for our mountaintop ceremony. The flowers also smelled better than any floral arrangement I've had!

Working with Lisa was incredible! getting married during corona wasn't easy and plans kept changing, Lisa was able to help me with all of this. Everyone was in awe of her work and it really stole the show. She put together the most beautiful chuppa (wedding canopy) that felt like being in the garden of eden. Lisa also worked with our budget and came up with ideas on how to be cost effective and still have beautiful flower arrangements throughout the venu. I highly recommend Lake placid florist and i am so thankful to have found them for my own wedding!!!

Lisa did an amazing job. The flowers were just perfect. I didn’t have a clear cut idea of what I wanted and with just a few questions from her, she created the bouquet of my dreams. She was also super creative with my husbands boutonnière. We just loved everything.

Lisa Kirby and Lake Placid Flower and Gift were so wonderful to work with for my winter wedding! Lisa's excellent communication, organization, and prompt responses made planning a wedding from out of town much less stressful! We had a phone conversation and many emails way in advance to plan for my event. Lisa was also very flexible and accommodating with my last minute requests and changes. Lisa provided insight and advice on flower choices that were appropriate for the style wedding I was planning and the winter season. She worked seamlessly with our other vendors to coordinate decorations at the venue and for our cakes. The flowers were beautiful and turned out exactly as I had envisioned! Not only did the flowers EXCEED our expectations, but the service was extraordinary. There was actually a person on site during the ceremony to ensure everything was on track. She even fixed a corsage that needed a little TLC! The bench with the cascading flowers was more exquisite than anything we had seen in a magazine, and the mantel piece was to die for!!

I was ecstatic about our wedding flowers!! The most amazing part of our experience with Lisa Kirby was that I didn’t even have a vision and couldn’t exactly describe what I wanted. Instead, I sent Lisa a bunch of pictures of various types of flowers and bouquets I loved (and they varied from) but Lisa’s vision captured exactly what I imagined and then some. The centerpieces were breathtaking, stunning, and unique!! We had multiple comments on the beauty of the centerpieces, and everyone got a kick out of the fact they could eat some of it (once they figured that out). My bouquet was more than I could’ve imagined!! It was the most beautiful and perfect bouquet!! The groomsmen boutonnieres were the perfect match to the bouquets too (which was also thanks to Lisa's suggestions on the specific colors and tropical flare I wanted to add to my fall bouquet). And of course, the moms loved their corsages!

Lisa did such an amazing job not only with our flowers but with all of our decor. Not only did she make our vision a reality but she took the time to understand our style and preferences and came up with recommendations that we never could have dreamed up on our own. I could not recommend Lisa and the Lake Placid Flower and Gift team highly enough. We truly could not have done it without them.

Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers for our son's rehearsal dinner. They were gorgeous!!! Everyone commented on them, and the Calla lily and the ranunculus were particularly beautiful in the arrangements!! And the flowers at the church and the next day at the reception were also wonderful! We appreciate all you did, and will highly recommend you to anyone up there for an event! Although I have never met you in person, you were very attentive to our requests and created beautifully complimentary arrangements that we used for the rehearsal dinner, and then in the bridal suite the next day as they were getting ready for the wedding! Lisa and her team are incredible! I was so impressed by our wedding flowers, and am so thankful to have worked with Lisa and Lake Placid Flower and Gift. I met with Lisa twice during the planning process, and she always made me feel very at ease. I had a few vague ideas about what I wanted, but really didn't know where to go from there. Lisa showed us pictures of different styles and arrangements and asked all the right questions to help decipher what we were looking for. Lisa was able to transform those initial thoughts into the most beautiful work. She had great ideas on how to further enhance the different pieces and make them even more incredible, and knew exactly which vases, etc. to use that would support our wedding vision of rustic yet elegant. The bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous, and the garland for the venue's fireplace mantel was a total dream! We got so many compliments throughout the day. Lisa and her team are amazing and I can't recommend them enough!

The absolute best! Lisa and her crew took good care of us. When we met her prior to our wedding, we had no idea about flowers, bouquets etc. We were able to give Lisa an idea of what we liked, as far as colors go, but that was about it. Lisa asked us a few questions to learn more about us, and picked out bouquets, centerpieces, and wrap for the arbor. She kept in touch with us. Answering any questions we had. She also sent us pictures of ideas that she came up with for us. Her choices were spot on! They were the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. Our bouquets were perfect. Centerpieces were unlike any that I had ever seen. We had so many compliments on the flowers. The were literally the most beautiful arrangements I had ever seen. I would highly recommend Lisa and crew. So easy to deal with. I knew from the moment I stepped in to her shop, and was greeted by Cooper, her cat, this was the florist for us!

I cannot say enough good things about Lake Placid Flowers and Gifts. I was a little apprehensive about ordering the flowers for our wedding as we live out of state. Once I spoke with Lisa on the phone my fears disappeared. :) She was very patient with me and listened to what my expectations were. I sent her a few pictures and from that phone conversation and pics she picked up on exactly what vibe I wanted and what I envisioned our venue to look like. The room was stunning when she finished with centerpieces and flowers for the 2 fireplaces. My bouchet was elegant and beyond gorgeous. We received many compliments from our guests. If you want gorgeous flowers and nice people to work with, this is it! We used Lisa for our wedding in LP in June and I cannot say enough good things about Lisa and her team. She went above and beyond my expectations! I trusted her suggestions and she perfectly executed my vision. She did bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, flowers along the aisle on top of wooden logs, and string lights for an outdoor patio area. We are not from the area so planning from a distance was challenging at times but one thing I never worried about was my flowers!

Lisa and her team exceeded our wildest expectations for wedding flowers and decorations! As someone with little experience in this department, she helped me create a vision for the wedding day using her expansive knowledge and Pinterest as visual reference. Lisa and her staff member delivered my wedding party's bouquet, corsages, and boutonnieres to me personally on the day - all of which were absolutely gorgeous - before decorating the venue and trellis.

I can't imagine working with anyone else. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and Lisa helped me to precise and visualize the elements that I desired into the most classic, elegant, winter wedding dream that I could have possibly imagined. She also provided the rentals for my table decor and was able to provide everything in yellow gold to keep with my theme. So kind, so creative, and wonderful to work with! I give Lake Placid Flower & Gift my highest recommendation for all of your floral and decor dreams.

Lisa and her team were simply fantastic! From the very start, I knew she was the one. She was willing to talk to me in the evening after I left work, and chatted for over an hour during our first conversation. Lisa was very helpful in guiding me to figure out what I wanted, even with only very vague "help" from me. She gave me great advice about flowers for my venues, and made excellent suggestions for repurposing flowers between the ceremony, reception and breakfast locations. Haley (from Lisa's team) delivered the flowers directly to me on the wedding day, and they all did a great job setting up flowers and moving them between multiple sites and ultimately bringing them to a local nursing home to donate. Working with Lisa for our recent wedding was an absolute dream. All I had to do was give Lisa a basic "vibe" I was hoping for as well as a few pictures that had some of the details I was hoping for, and she was able to bring our wedding dreams to life. She is kind, patient, very responsive and talented beyond measure. You will absolutely not be disappointed if you work with her!

Lisa was amazing to work with! As an out of state bride, she was so easy to work with, willing to do anything and creative about how to work in our budget without sacrificing the look we wanted. She kept both my mom and I in the loop, sometimes having to repeat herself since I wasn’t able to be there in person and was always patient with our decision making. Our day would not have been nearly as beautiful without her help! Our flowers were worth every penny!

Lisa was the best vendor to work with! We planned our wedding from Syracuse, NY and she made the process seamless. I first reached out to see if she had availability for our wedding weekend. Lisa responded promptly that they could accommodate our wedding, and encouraged me to start a Pinterest board to share my vision for florals/decor with her. This got us off to a great start. From there, we arranged a phone call and talked through everything on the Pinterest board. I sort of had ADD when pinning things I liked, so Lisa asked a lot of questions to narrow down my "style". Over the course of the next several months we tweaked this several times, and she offered outstanding advice in a professional manner. We redirected the entire concept over one phone call two months before the wedding, and I was walking on clouds by the time we hung up. We visited Lake Placid several months before the big day to meet with some vendors. Although we didn't need to (because planning over the phone proved to be so effective with Lisa) I wanted to stop in so we could meet in person. She offered my husband a beer (major bonus points to her!) and Cooper, the cuddly cat that could be confused for a dog, kept us company while Lisa showed us some of the rentals she could offer. The day-of, delivery to our hotel went seamless, and by the time I arrived at the venue everything was done exactly the way we had talked about. This was hands down my favorite vendor to work with!!! Highly recommend!!!

Simply the best!! Lisa and her team were amazing from start to finish. She made me feel at ease during the entire planning process by being a true professional. I was so impressed by her ability to understand the look and overall vibe I was hoping for at my wedding. She was very flexible in making sure I had a budget I was comfortable working with and never pressured me to add unnecessary items. Lisa was very easy to work with! She gave great suggestions and took my Pinterest board and made it all happen! We were very pleased on how all of the flowers turned out from the center pieces to the flowers on the cake. Her knowledge and creativity when it comes to flowers is amazing!

We worked with Lisa for our flowers for our Welcome Party and they turned out to be amazing! She worked well within our budget, she's very responsive, friendly, and creative. We gave her a color scheme and let her run with it and everything was beyond our expectations! She did a wonderful job and we couldn't have been happier!

We absolutely loved working with Lisa. From our initial meeting, Lisa was able to capture exactly what I had in mind. My bouquet was more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be! She was able to create a spot-on bouquet based on my general descriptions and some different pictures that I shared. The boutonnieres and corsages were so gorgeous as well and perfectly fit our theme. Lisa was very willing to work with us at every step and was great at communicating. The day of the event, our flowers were placed in the ceremony venue right on time. Last but not least, Cooper (the super cuddly cat in the shop) was absolutely adorable! I cannot even express how beautiful the flowers were for our winter wedding. Lisa is such a joy to work with - I emailed her pictures of inspiration and she was able to use them (plus our phone conversations) to come up with the most beautiful bouquets. We had a small wedding and only needed a bridal bouquet, one bridesmaid bouquet, two boutonnieres, and two flower hair pieces - yet we were still treated like we were the biggest, highest paying customers. The service at Lake Placid Flower and Gift is top notch. After a brief misunderstanding with our hotel (the flowers were misplaced), Lisa offered to close her shop and track down our flowers for us. Wow, talk about talent! The bouquets and centerpieces came out more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. She hit the boho autumn chic nail right on the head! I got emotional when the flowers were delivered for the first time during our whole wedding day. They were that gorgeous! Thank you to Lisa and her team, you guys rock!

My (now!) husband and I are so glad we chose Lake Placid Flowers to help create our wedding dream at the Whiteface Club and Resort. Lisa was so helpful and attentive in answering my MANY emails during the planning process, as we were planning long distance. She helped me choose options within our budget that would still achieve the look we wanted for our venue. Her employees were all helpful and wonderful to work with as well- I had a few conversations with Greer and she answered all of the questions I had about HER wedding and she even sent me pictures to help me envision what it all looked like at the venue on her big day. It was also a huge relief that they have done many many weddings at our venue so they knew exactly what would fit each little spot and they were very honest with what would and would not work. It turns out I might be a little type A (just a little), so my husband and I took a drive up to Lake Placid and Lisa offered her time to sit with us and go over our vision, budget, color scheme, and flower options (She even offered us beverages!). The whole experience from beginning to end was seamless and we could not have been happier with the final results of the day. My favorite part of our wedding flowers was the 12ft long garland that Lisa and team constructed for our ceremony trellis- it was BREATHTAKING! Lisa is extremely patient, easy to work with, and clearly very skilled in her trade! I highly recommend them for your wedding events!

Lake Placid Flower and Gift created the most stunning wedding flowers for our September wedding. Lisa was incredibly easy to work with and since this was a destination wedding for us, I would send links to my Pinterest pages and we'd decide together on what would look and work best. Since Pinterest can be a bit deceiving on what's affordable and available during certain times of the year, Lisa worked with us during our visits to explain the different flowers within our budget and showed us different options for ceremony and reception flowers. My bouquet was exquisite and all of our flowers were show stoppers. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Lisa and her team.

This place was amazing. I was from out of town and did most communication through email which was wonderful for me. I also loved how friendly the staff was. They were extremely accommodating and caring. I loved my flowers and even loved the silk floral comb she made me too! Highly recommend!!

Lake Placid Flower and Gift did an AMAZING job on the flowers for my June 25, 2017 wedding! Planning a wedding in Lake Placid from Boston was very stressful. Lisa from LPFG made it so much easier by being extremely helpful, friendly, patient and flexible. I highly recommend the shop!

We are SO glad we went with Lisa for our January 7, 2017 wedding in Lake Placid! Her and the team at Lake Placid Flower and Gift Co. did a STUNNING job on our wedding flowers. I’m a really specific person, so I definitely gave her a lot of ideas to work with and she brought them to life and BEYOND NAILED everything. It was everything I was dreaming of and more—the exact organic, wintry look we were after. I almost cried when I saw my bouquet and my girls’ bouquets the morning of the wedding because I was so happy and they were so beyond beautiful—and I don’t know that many people can say something like that! She went above and beyond on every unique detail we asked for—sprigs of flowers on our menus, mistletoe in our entranceway, floral arrangements in hockey skates, etc. We live in Southern CT and planned our wedding in Lake Placid, NY in under a year and she was super responsive via email, but I also loved meeting with her during our trips up to Lake Placid! She has an adorable shop with two cute cats—Cooper and Dakota (Cooper is the chillest lap cat of all time!). We hope to come back and visit the next time we are up there!

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. My wedding flowers and vendor were absolutely gorgeous because of this vendor, and my experience was the absolute BEST from start to finish. Beautiful flowers, personable staff, flexibility, and they definitely went above and beyond. The owner even provided suggestions to other local vendors as well, which was so helpful. We cannot thank Lisa at Lake Placid Flower and Gift enough for our absolutely beautiful flowers for our wedding! She was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. From the first phone call and all the email correspondences Lisa was fantastic! She was so easy to work with and listened to everything we envisioned. My husband and I only met with her in person once and felt completely confident in her to take care of what we needed. When we received the bouquets and boutonnieres we were blown away. Lisa and Lake Placid Flower & Gift were amazing to work with!!! While they are incredibly busy during the wedding season and Lisa might take a little while to get back to you, they are so worth the wait!! My flowers were spectacular and over the top! All of our guests raved about the trellis pieces, the centerpieces, the large vase arrangements.... everything... to the point where most of the flowers were actually taken home by friends and family!!! Lisa's staff brought the bouquets and boutonnieres to us in the morning for photos and they were incredible. My husband wanted a more unique boutonniere with hypericum berries and upright amaranthus and they turned out really cool. My bouquets included roses, hypericum, amaranthus, spray roses, freesia, and more. Lisa took over the set-up of my ceremony space as well. She provided a sheer curtain to drape over the trellis, gorgeous flowers, smaller arrangements to line the aisle, huge mums, and more. My wedding day was that much more perfect because of Lisa and the staff at Lake Placid Flower & Gift. I seriously cannot thank them enough for everything they did, their professionalism, and the little surprises they incorporated! Thank you for making my wedding absolutely perfect!!!

Lisa from Lake Placid Flower and Gifts is one of the most passionate people I have ever met- She recently did our wedding in Lake Placid and truly went above and beyond my expectations. Her talent is amazing. My Bridal Bouquet was Simply gorgeous as well as my daughters and the Moms. Lisa also did my Centerpieces and my favors which were done to perfection- She saw my vision and ran with it. She did the most amazing birch tree planters and candles at St Agnes Church and I also had her decorate massive fireplace mantles the Kanu Dining room at the Whiteface Lodge and I can honestly say when I walked into the church and my reception, I cried. Then there was our Cake... Wow - So beautiful!!! Words cannot describe what a beautiful job she did. Not only was Lisa my florist for our special day, I now consider her to be my friend. I am truly honored that she played such an important part for our wedding!

They are the best! Helped me create the most beautiful center pieces and were very patient with the fact that I had no idea what I even wanted to do, or what flowers or colors I would be happy with. Lisa helped me with a vision and my bouquet was breath-taking. Will always use them =)
