LSVR Review Where do I start? There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Marissa and the entire Lake Shore staff are! Throughout the entire wedding planning process they were so incredibly kind and helpful. Marissa came in as wedding coordinator in March about 5 months before our wedding and she very easily calmed any worries we had! She was so wonderful to work with and helped with everything we needed. When the weekend of our wedding came all of the event staff were extremely helpful, kind and brought our vision to a reality perfectly. Everything went off without a hitch, it was the best day we could’ve possibly asked for and a weekend to remember. Everyone loved being able to stay on property for the weekend, especially our out of town guests! Every single cabin is fantastic, whether it be the views or the amenities, we had no negativity from any guest. We could not recommend Lake Shore Village Resort enough for a wedding, you will not be disappointed!

Could not have picked a better place to have our wedding! We had many guests travel from out of town and we were able to spend so much meaningful time with them due to the destination resort nature of this venue. From time of arrival to time of departure the team here have everything down to a science and execution is flawless! The wedding coordinator Sarah was so helpful from start to finish throughout the process and is so patient with everyone - you can truly tell how much she enjoys making couples' dream weddings come true. The owners live on site and were so accommodating and lovely - their farewell breakfast is a must do! Many guests commented that it was the best wedding they'd ever been too. Our weather was PERFECT but I know even if it was stormy, no one would have noticed because the team is THAT GOOD! Could not recommend this venue enough and so thankful to have been one of the lucky couples to have our wedding here in 2024.

Truly, there are not enough positive things to say about LSVR! We will be forever on a cloud after getting married at this spectacular location. The entire staff, from the venue coordinator to the owner and everyone in between, were incredible to work with. They were so accommodating, understanding, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible time. We, along with our 100+ guests who stayed onsite, could not rave more about the amenities that this venue has to offer. Everyone was busy having fun throughout the weekend, whether they were kayaking in the morning or playing corn hole on the beach in the afternoon. Sarah, the wedding coordinator, is amazingly talented at what she does, and she is also an absolute gem of a human. She made us feel fully comfortable in the most stressful moments, and celebrated us as if she was one of our guests that we've known for years. She is one of a kind and makes the LSVR experience as amazing as it is. The grounds are breathtaking, the lake houses are homey, and the people are down to earth. Having our wedding weekend at LSVR was a dream come true. Everyone left the weekend wanting to book a future stay, which tells you all you need to know. We couldn't recommend LSVR more highly!!

We got married here June 2023 and it was amazing. Everything was gorgeous and I have no idea how people even have weddings without Coordinators like Sarah. She took care of everything, stood back when I wanted her to, and thought of all the little things we 100% would have forgotten. If you want a gorgeous wedding weekend that everyone will love with zero stress book here!

I got married here in September of 2022 and it was nothing less than beautiful and the weather was perfect. The cabins are stunning as well as the beach. Your guests will definitely be in awe throughout the whole weekend! I was a little disappointed because I was told that someone tends to the bonfire and anything we need on the beach on both nights, but she was very difficult to find, and we had to keep asking for her location. The actual wedding day seemed chaotic, and I assume they were short staffed because one of the assistants I knew was supposed to be there was not. I did leave her a tip with the coordinator before I realized this, and it was never offered back to me-though to be fair I never asked. No one was checking in on me throughout cocktail hour, no drinks or food was served to me or my family while we were taking pictures as we were promised. I had to advocate for everything I needed that day when I was told it would be all taken care of. It definitely was not budget friendly which I knew when I chose this venue but assumed that was because it came with so much- but now I am not sure what I really got with the hefty venue fee. Overall, it was a good experience, I am just disappointed with the support and organization as a whole. The coordinator seems very overwhelmed as she is quite busy, and I wish she had more help because if she did everything would have been perfect.

We had a wonderful time during our wedding weekend! The resort is magical and the staff went above and beyond to go meet our needs (and then some) and handle everything so we would not have to stress and could enjoy our day! Our guests could not believe how lovely the lake houses were and how perfect the venue was. Many compliments we received we had to credit Susan and her team for, as they provided so much from the wedding pantry! We definitely plan on booking a lake house again in the future so we can relive the whole experience 😁

My (now) husband and I got married at LSVR in October and we wouldn’t change a thing if we could do it all over again! Our priority when wedding planning was to have a laid- back weekend where we could spend quality time with our family and friends… and boy, did LSVR deliver! The people at LSVR are something special. Susan (their wedding coordinator) is absolutely incredible. Throughout the whole planning process, she was super responsive, organized and upbeat. She took care of EVERYTHING throughout the weekend- our enjoyment was her priority! She quickly fixed a ripped bustle just before our reception, drove us around the resort after our first look, made some last minute seating adjustments and made sure we always had food and drink! Michael (the owner) and his family were also amazing- the love they pour into the resort is so apparent and they make a delicious pancake breakfast! We are so thankful that our wedding weekend was spent building memories with our families (over bonfires and paddle boat rides!) and nothing felt rushed. If you’re considering LSVR for your wedding, do it, you will not be disappointed!

I don't even know where to begin... this place is a DREAM. Not only are the views and lake homes perfect, but Susan and Marissa are absolutely amazing to work with. Everything went so smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing knowing that I had them there every step of the way. So many of our guests have told us they never wanted to leave! It was truly the most perfect day and we cannot recommend this venue enough.

Lake Shore Village Resort is the most amazing wedding venue. If you have a chance to get married there, take it! Every single second of our wedding was a blast from the moment we arrived on Thursday until we left on Sunday afternoon. Gathering all of your favorite friends and family in one place for a weekend is the most special experience we've every had. All of our friends and family told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Starting your welcome party on Friday night gives you so much more time to spend with your favorite people, and there are so many great things to do from kayaking to beach fires, to having the best dance party. Susan was the most helpful wedding coordinator. She's professional, communicative, and so detail oriented. She takes care of every single detail, making your special day feel easy and flawless. Susan is so sweet, helpful, kind and easy to work with. She has a special way of making each and every one of your wedding guests feel welcome and accommodated. We had the most fun/magical wedding weekend, and all I can say is make sure you get an amazing photographer because you're going to want to remember every detail.

Let's just say... Incredible experience. Upon searching, my now-husband and I were looking for a comfortable, weekend lakeside venue to bring family and friends together in. The moment we arrived for our tour, we were in love. The moment we met with the wedding coordinator there, we were sold. It was everything we were looking for. Susan was incredibly responsive, thoughtful and helpful in every way. In the middle of our engagement, the pandemic hit. Of course this was new for everyone to maneuver... but we were so glad we had wanted this fully outdoor venue as it saved our wedding. Not only was it gorgeous, but it was the safest place I can imagine getting married. People had small shared cabins and kept to their people as you'd expect anywhere else. It was all fantastic. I can go on forever, but you should just see for yourself during a tour there... if this is the type of venue you want.

This venue was literally INCREDIBLE. I cannot tell you how much of an amazing time my guests and my husband and I had here!! It was SO nice having an entire weekend (we actually spent a week) with our family and friends rather than just having one day go by oh so quickly. It literally felt like vacation which I think is really hard to say for any other venue. We spent our time in front of bonfires, grilling and chilling with our closest family and friends, and fishing off the beautiful docks with the most beautiful view. The owner let us rent the pontoon boat for the week and it made the stay even more magical. There were many different activities for every one and all ages to enjoy all weekend, including our bonfire and pizza party in the smaller, beautiful tent on Friday night, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, etc. The grounds were maintained beautifully and so were the AMAZING CABINS. It was so cool to see the actual owner and his family out on the beach Friday and Saturday morning cleaning up the beach and making the grounds look perfect. The convenience of everything being right at the venue, including our guests, was INCREDIBLE. We want to go back every year. I have so many amazing things to say that it is impossible to sum it up in a paragraph. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is worth every penny.

Our venue was perfect! Susan (Event coordinator and everything in-between) and Michael (owner) make each wedding weekend feel so special and perfect. I’ve heard other friends talk about how they wish their wedding coordinator was more helpful, and Susan was everything and more! From calling my vendors the week before the wedding to confirm, to making sure everything ran on schedule, to taking action in areas she needed to in order to make sure the day was perfect...I can’t say enough about her! Thank you doesn’t begin to describe the experience we and our guests had. Would pick this venue over and over. Thank you to Lake Shore for making our wedding a beautiful start to our marriage!

I wish I could get married here again... I'm writing this review 2 weeks after our wedding and I still have people raving about all aspects of Lake Shore! The cabins, grounds and beach, the set-up for the wedding itself, and SUSAN! Susan, the wedding coordinator, is amazing. She is on top of everything and mades the whole process as easy as possible. I can be a bit of a control freak and I trusted her 100% with everything the weekend of the wedding, especially the wedding day. Her focus is to allow the bride and groom along with their families to have a great time and ENJOY their wedding. The owner and other staff at Lake Shore were also excellent. I don't have a single bad thing to say about our wedding and the process at Lake Shore.

Booking Lake Shore Village Resort (LSVR) is worth every single penny! My husband and I were looking for a unique venue, and we found it. Our wedding guests will not stop telling us how much they enjoyed themselves & that our wedding is the wedding to top all weddings. LSVR does not disappoint and so many of our guests have said that this venue has set the bar extremely high for all other weddings they attend from not on! Not only is the actual venue absolutely stunning, but the owners and staff of LSVR are phenomenal. I am seriously sad that I don't have an excuse to communicate with them all the time now that the wedding is over! The amount of crazy ideas & e-mails that were absolutely too long that I sent to the wedding coordinator at Lake Shore Village Resort during our planning process was staggering. But, she received it all with open arms and was always there for us! She not only entertained every crazy idea, but helped us bring them all to life. Susan, the wedding coordinator, was such a huge help with making sure that our wedding was absolutely perfect for us, and that we were happier than we ever could have imagined. The owner, Michael, is so down to earth, and takes such tremendous pride in LSVR & the experience that it provides, and it truly shows. If we booked the same exact wedding (all the vendors, all the decor, all the guests, etc) at a different venue, I can 100% assure you that it would not have been even close to half the wedding that it was. Everyone at LSVR pours their heart and soul into each wedding. When you book your wedding at Lake Shore Village Resort, you are not only booking your venue, you're booking a truly once in a life time experience for yourself and your wedding guests.

We had our wedding at Lake Shore Village Resort on May 25, 2019 and we can not say enough great things about this venue. First off, the location is absolutely stunning. All our guests had a fun time staying in the cabins and enjoying the lake activities. Susan, the wedding coordinator was amazing. She was always so quick to respond to us, gave us advice and suggestions if we asked, was positive and always excited for us. The weekend of our wedding, she worked so hard and did an amazing job. We were able to enjoy the resort which was really nice. She had everything taken care of. Everyone at LSVR including the owners, assistants, etc. were pleasant to interact with. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

If you're looking for a gorgeous, relaxing, and fun place to have your wedding, this is the spot! Our wedding was more perfect than we could've ever imagined. The Lake Shore team took care of every little detail, allowing us to enjoy our family and the activities throughout the weekend. They were accommodating throughout the entire process, and the personal touches made everything that much sweeter. Thank you for everything, and we can't wait to come back for a stay!

My husband and I just got married 8/25/18, and there really aren't words to describe how perfect Lake Shore was for our wedding. The entire staff was so pleasant and easy to work with. Susan was so wonderful the entire time- she responded quickly to any questions and helped us through the planning process. Our guests were so amazed with how unique Lake Shore was and everyone said they would visit again! Our guests loved the 3 day wedding weekend idea, and turned out the weather was perfect so our guests got to relax and enjoy the entire resort. Our wedding was truly perfect which wouldn't have been possible without everyone at Lake Shore Village Resort :) We love LSVR!! Thank you all for your help!! We can't wait to come back to stay in the future.

My husband and I were just married 05/26/2018 at Lakeshore, and it was the most fun we have ever had. The staff is incredible, they will go the extra mile and then some for you! They were so incredibly amazing to work with and we couldn't have asked for better. Breathtakingly beautiful venue on the lake and all of our guests kept saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We are so grateful we chose this place! It was literally a dream come true. We will definitely be booking a trip again next year ♡ Thanks Lakeshore! We love you!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lake Shore Village Resort. My husband and I got married there in October (over Columbus Day Weekend) and it truly was a dream location - we couldn’t have pulled off such an epic wedding weekend without the LSVR crew. Their hospitality and help over our two year engagement went above and beyond our expectations. We had 120 guests in total, many of which that chose to spend the entire weekend up there with us, so it felt like we had a family reunion and destination wedding in one. Erika, our wedding coordinator was there to answer our millions of questions and at the speed of light and she did everything possible to make sure our day went on without a hitch. She even brought us appetizers during our cocktail hour to make sure we were able to try everything. Every little detail was accounted for and Erika truly took away the stress for us so we could enjoy and take in every moment. LSVR has an expansive list of recommended vendors (many of which we used!) and we loved the flexibility of bringing in a lot of our own stuff, being the DIY-lovers that we are. LSVR was the perfect wedding venue for just that. It felt customized and personal and we still have our guests raving about what an awesome time they had. I would HIGHLY recommend LSVR to any couple, especially those that want to have a truly unforgettable wedding wedding in picturesque New Hampshire. I would not have changed a thing - it was simply perfect!

My husband and I were married at LSVR on 8.19.17 and we haven't stopped talking about it since! Erika (the on-site wedding coordinator) was amazing. We communicated for over a year via e-mail/texts/phone calls and she was always kind and supportive. I met with her for ~1 hour (while I was busy doing 1,000 other things since my groom was down with a stomach bug!!) on Friday afternoon to go over "my vision". And on the day of, everything was exactly what I had imagined! She was honestly able to make my dream wedding a reality. Michael (the owner) was visible throughout the weekend and made sure that everything was running smoothly, we had everything we needed and that all of our guests were behaving. ;) The only downside was that it was pouring the night of the rehearsal dinner. We were supposed to eat outside under the small tent, which was not an option that night so Michael/Erika were super flexible and allowed us to use the wedding tent to host our 100 guests. It was a great solution for all of us to spend the whole night together instead of in our individual cabins. Speaking of the cabins-- they were gorgeous and came complete with AC, full kitchens, grills, linens, etc! My bridesmaids and I got ready in Pineview cabin and the groomsmen got ready in Lakeview (two of the largest cabins at LSVR). My other guests could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed staying all together and not having to worry about drinking and driving! On Saturday, the rain had cleared and all of my guests were taking full advantage of all that LSVR had to offer-- swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. but still had plenty of time to head up to change before the ceremony. Honestly, it was a picture perfect day. I can't imagine a more beautiful place to get married... on a sandy beach, with waves lapping the shore, in front of your closest family and friends... it was a dream come true! Book at LSVR-- you won't regret it!

I can't say enough about LSVR and their team. I recently had my wedding here and it was beyond perfect. Everything worked out flawlessly and it was even better than I had imagined. Erika was great in helping us plan throughout the year and make sure we were on top of everything. Almost every question we asked, she had a quick and easy answer for. They were able to accommodate everything we wanted. Michael, Erika, and team were so helpful over the wedding weekend. My wife and I were able to just enjoy the party and not worry about all the details. Not to mention, it is an absolutely stunning venue that we hope to go back to for vacations!

If you want to have a perfect New Hampshire wedding right on the lake, have your guests enjoy themselves for the entire weekend, and work with wonderful staff, look no further! We had our dream wedding at LSVR and couldn't be happier that we found this gem- our guests are still raving about what a magical spot this is! We wanted a wedding that our guests could enjoy for an entire weekend, rather than for just 6 hours. About 125 of our wedding guests stayed on-site for the whole weekend in LSVR's beautiful "cabins" - updated lakefront homes with full kitchens, bathrooms, multiple bedrooms, air conditioning, decks, and grills. Our guests loved that our wedding made them feel like they were on vacation and that they didn't have to leave LSVR's property all weekend. We also loved not having to worry about renting buses to transport people to hotels or have the fear that guests would drive after drinking. On Friday evening we had a large welcome dinner that we opened up to all of our wedding guests. Before dinner time, we were so pleased to see that our guests were already taking full advantage of LSVR's various offerings on the water including paddle boarding, canoeing, and using the motor boats! It was so wonderful to have virtually the entire property to our ourselves all weekend long! Our guests got to enjoy a lovely pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday morning right by the water that was cooked up by LSVR staff including Michael, the owner. Friends are still telling us how incredible the pancakes were! My bridesmaids and I got ready in Pineview, LSVR's largest and newest home at the top of the hill- it's beautiful, sleeps 12, and has a view of the lake! Our hair and makeup artists were so pleased to have so much natural light and the ability to spread out in the large living room- much nicer than a hotel room/suite! We also took our first look photos on Pineview's gorgeous, wrap around deck. Our wedding ceremony couldn't be beat- we got married on LSVR's private beach under an arbor with the lake right behind us. You can actually hear the waves crashing into the sand in our video! Our cocktail hour was very open- many guests were on the grass outside of the reception tent, some were drinking cocktails on the many docks in front of the grassy area, and others stayed on the beach and played games like corn hole and bocce. It was exactly what we wanted! The reception tent was gorgeous and Erika (LSVR's full-time wedding coordinator) did such a beautiful job setting everything up! We had 164 guests at the wedding and there was plenty of room- it never seemed as though guests were packed in, like we've felt at some other tent weddings. Erika and Michael truly made us feel so special all weekend, and we are so grateful! They are wonderful people to work with and are so, so helpful. I communicated with Erika nearly every day for almost 2 years and I couldn't be happier with her. She is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet and was always so helpful - she also answered all of my questions in record time! Of course we're biased, but we've never been to a wedding venue that tops Lake Shore Village Resort. Why would you not want your friends and family all in one place for the whole weekend? It's like summer camp for adults, only way classier! We are extremely jealous of the next couple that gets to celebrate here all weekend long - I wish we could do it over and over again!

If I could do 10 stars I would! don't even know how to explain how amazing our wedding was at LSVR. Erika and the whole staff was truley amazing and accommodating ! It was the best weekend of our lives and we wish we could do it all over again! Thank you for such an amazing wedding weekend. If you are considering using this venue trust me you will not regret it !

I don't even know where to start. From the beginning Erica was incredible. She was so kind and understanding and answered all of my questions promptly. When the weekend came they were ready for everyone to check in. The cabins were stunning and cozy. On the day of the wedding everything was perfect. From the set up to how smooth it ran and if we needed anything she was always there. My family and friends are looking forward to spending more time at the resort very soon for weekend getaways and more events. Thank you all again.

Everything We Could Have Asked For…And Much More! We got married on September 3, 2016 at Lake Shore Village Resort in Weare, NH. The entire weekend was absolutely PERFECT! We cannot say enough about how great everyone and everything was for the entire weekend! Erika, the event coordinator was FANTASIC!! She was always available for questions leading up to the wedding, and always responded within 24 hours to either an email or phone call. She truly made the whole planning experience stress free and enjoyable! Throughout the entire weekend she and Michael made themselves always available if needed. They are by far some of the nicest people we have met!! Friday night we had a welcome dinner with a beachside BBQ under a small tent for everyone staying in the cabins. After dinner we closed out the night with a couple a beach bonfires, drinks and music. We all had a blast! People even found themselves floating in the lake! Then the big wedding day! In the morning everyone filtered to the beach and had an awesome time enjoying the gorgeous and clean lake. People were taking turns using the kayaks and stand up paddleboards. We set up water volleyball and bag toss and everyone had such a great time! The bridal party got ready at the Lakeview cabin, which was perfect!! Plenty of space for all to get ready (hairdresser and photographers too) with the large deck we could sit on looking down at everyone having fun at the beach without being seen. The cabin provided a great background for taking some pictures with the bridal party before the ceremony. The ceremony was right on the beach followed by the reception under the large and spacious tent right on the lake. The natural background of the lake was breath taking. The following morning all the guests gathered again for a delicious pancake breakfast on the beach. All of our guests continue to say how amazing the entire property of LSVR is, how extremely nice and unbelievably accommodating Erika and Michael were. It truly exceeded all of our expectations and made our wedding weekend so memorable and more than we could have ever imagined! We can’t wait to go back for a vacation or anniversary celebration!!

Our wedding was last weekend, September 17th, at Lake Shore Village Resort. Everything about the venue, from location to the people we worked with, could not have been more perfect. Erika, the venue coordinator was absolutely spectacular. She was so friendly and completely accessible, and responded to my (MANY) emails/calls thoroughly and in no more than 24 hours. She made our weekend completely stress free, and I am unbelievably thankful for that. We had the venue for the entire weekend, and each day was absolutely perfect. We had our rehearsal on the beach and rehearsal dinner in a small tented area off of the beach on Friday night, followed by a bonfire on the beach. Saturday while I (the bride) and my party were in our ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL cabin getting ready, I was able to watch our family and friends playing on the beach, taking kayaks and paddle boards out and around the lake and just genuinely having a good time. Our ceremony was right on the beach, and the reception was underneath the very spacious tented area. Our guests were in awe of the beautiful view, as were we. Sunday following the wedding, there was a delicious pancake breakfast back under the smaller tent. LSVR exceeded our wedding dreams tenfold. It was breathtaking in every aspect and having the venue for the whole weekend meant we could enjoy it even longer! Thank you to everyone at LSVR for helping to make our day absolutely unforgettable and more perfect than we could ever have imagined!

On a beautiful lake out in the middle of nowhere, NH is LSVR. They do a full weekend wedding package and a cabin rental minimum for wedding party and guests. It is a lot of money, but includes so many things you don't have to worry about, including an amazing wedding planner, Erika! Friday night you get to have the rehearsal on the beach and a rehearsal dinner on site, then the ceremony on the beach and reception is their large, heated tent on site. Finally, Sunday morning they will provide a pancake breakfast for all the guests that stayed over. We were there during foliage season and the photos came out great!!

Our wedding on Memorial Day weekend at Lake Shore Village Resorts was spectacular! The hospitality our friends and family was shown was really amazing. Emily, Michael and the rest of the team really made us feel at home and helped us achieve the perfect combination of modern and cool while staying traditional and classic. The cabins, tent, beach games/boats and overall accommodations were exactly what we expected. We were able to host a large party at the smaller tent for our rehearsal dinner and, while we had our ceremony at a nearby church in Henniker, the reception when we got back to the resort was perfect and fun and the staff had everything ready for us once our 150 guests arrived. And, for those Brides who are hands-on and like to have an input on design and aesthetics, this is the perfect place for you because Lake Shore really helps you make it your own, unique, special day!

We got married on June 6, 2015 and had a perfect day, better yet perfect weekend at Lake Shore Village Resort! Lake Shore Village Resort offers you the opportunity to have your friends and family enjoy the entire weekend with you as they can rent one of the many beautiful cabins. The entire staff was incredibly helpful from the beginning of the planning process through the brunch on Sunday after our wedding day. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is searching for a fabulous outdoor location to have the perfect wedding weekend!

My husband and I got married at LSVR on May 30th this year. We had looked at many different venues and as soon as we pulled in the driveway to LSVR, we knew this was the place! It was breathtaking and exactly what we had been looking for but hadn’t yet found. Emily St. Pierre is the wedding coordinator and she did an amazing job! She was extremely organized. She always answered my questions in a timely manner. She made sure that everything was set up exactly how we wanted and was perfect for both the rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding! The venue offers a little something for everyone. Whether you like the outdoors, swimming, fishing, kayaking etc. or you prefer to enjoy peace and quiet with a book, it has it all. The cabins are fully equipped and absolutely gorgeous. Each cabin has a view of the lake and a wraparound deck. The venue is extremely easy to work with and allows you to really make your day unique to you! There number one focus is to make sure that your day is perfect, and they made sure of it for us! There isn’t one thing that didn’t go as planned. We had our ceremony on the beach, followed by a tented reception and a bon-fire on the beach after! I wouldn’t change a thing if I could. I would highly suggest using LSVR as your wedding venue.

This venue is amazing for a family reunion type wedding. We had all our family and friends stay in the cabins and had a bonfire Friday night, the wedding Saturday, and then a BBQ and bonfire on Sunday. The weather and scenery was beautiful, the cabins were very comfortable, and the venue and staff were accommodating.
