This venue was absolutely perfect!! The rustic vibes truly fit what we were looking for. I loved that I had the chance to set up on Friday and clean up on Sunday. Natalie was wonde...
rful to work with throughout the entire process! She always answered my texts, helped me to get all of my questions answered, and even came over the day of to make sure everything was going well. We had an unexpected 100 degree day & Natalie made sure we had extra air conditioners and fans to keep up with the doors being opened a lot. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, this venue was very reasonably priced, and it was overall a wonderful experience working with Natalie! Highly recommend this venue!!
This venue was absolutely perfect! It was very decent priced and BEAUTIFUL. We got married outside which was beautiful and the reception inside which was also beautiful. This was t...
he most flexible venue in the world. Very easy going. I loved that I was the only bride there and didn't have to worry about running into another bride and have other party's crash my wedding. I loved that I had the venue for the whole day so I was able to set up and get ready there and pick the times for ceremony and reception (I had an extended wedding 3-10). I had a perfect wedding day at a perfect venue. We had numerous compliments on the venue, so much that on of our guest are engaged and actually fell in love with lakeside clubhouse too and book them as well. Thank you so much Joan for a lovely experience.
Used this venue for my reception on 1024/15. The setting was perfect for a fall wedding. The space is beautifully rustic. What I loved most about it is the ability to use your own ...
caterer (in my case I used a family friend to save $). The layout was perfect and easily accommodated my party size (about 120 guests). The price was super reasonable compared to other venues with a similar outdoorsy/rustic vibe. Joan was great to work with. Since the building was not in use the day before the wedding we had access to set up the entire space the night before. This made things a lot less stressful since I wasn't using a typical caterer and was doing a lot of the set up myself.
This venue was included in the cost of our catering with Summit Caterers, but I think it can be booked separately, as well. It was absolutely breathtaking. My husband and I were lo...
oking for a place that felt different---we didn't have the budget for an out-of-state wedding, and we had guests that couldn't travel far, but we didn't like the facilities at parks nearby, and we didn't want a wedding in a big hall or golf club. This was the winner! The hall looks small, but comfortably fit our 120+ guests (and can fit up to 150) for a buffet-style wedding. The dance floor was big and the bar was gorgeous. But the best part of this place was the beautiful protected forest that surrounds it, and the big, open deck on the back side of the hall. Our guests loved being able to go out there with a drink and enjoy the view of the trees, the lake, and a beautiful hidden beach just a short walk away. And our photos were outstanding. I loved this place, and would recommend it for anyone looking for a unique space!
My husband and I chose this location for it's rustic feel and because it was on a lake. The lake was drained without us being told and they switched property managers a fews weeks ...
before our wedding. No compensation was offered for the lake being drained. Apparently, we found out afterwards, that the lake is private and does not belong to the facility. In fact, the facility itself is run by a board of directors, who really do not care if you have a great wedding just as long as you pay. We had to start all over again with the new property manager and then less than a week before our wedding we were told that we would not be covered under our caterers liquor liability insurance after we had already been told we would be. (This was no fault of our caterer.) The building itself is quite fuctional with a nice sized bar, small bridal room, bathrooms and kitchen facility. The indoor fireplace is romantic and majestic. The outside patio and fireplace are as well. Overall, I am still glad we had our wedding here. I just wish the board and property manager would communicate with each other and the bride and groom to make sure everything is explained properly. Just as a side note, while we were setting up for our wedding the day before, a bride stopped in who was having her wedding the weekend after mine. She was not told the lake was drained either and my heart went out to her when i saw her break down in tears. I knew exactly how she felt. All the dreams of the beach ceremony and picturesque wedding photos on the lake and bridge . . . were gone.
