Elishia suggested either bud vases or even rose petals on the table and I loved the rose petals idea and it came out perfect! My friends arranged the petals on the table for us and it worked out really well. Our venue was a brewery and really casual but it still looked elegant. I didn’t have photos of bouquets I wanted for myself but I knew some flowers I wanted and colors and Elishia was able to flush out what I wanted and designed the most beautiful bouquet. I loved it! I was sad when we left almost right away on our honeymoon as I wanted to keep enjoying it. She also does a small toss bouquet which is really cute and makes a nice gift if you don’t want to toss it. The boutonnières and corsages she made were perfect as well. I was really pleased with all of our flowers and really happy to stay within our small budget.

She also did a great job of helping us understand how we could stretch our budget to meet what I was looking for as close as possible and what might be better to focus on elsewhere. Elishia took great notes during our meeting and paid attention to details so well that besides a finalization touch in close to the wedding it only took one conversation with her to get everything planned and I felt confident in what we’d get. When helping me figure out the flowers for my bouquet and bridesmaids’ bouquets she knew all the right questions to ask to understand what I was actually looking for even though I started with a couple of pictures and very non technical terms. The process worked so well! I was so happy with everything we got and I was just distracted by my flowers all day on the wedding because they were so beautiful!!! They were even better than my imagination could have pictured and met everything I asked for and more!  We also had Elishia help with our center pieces, which turned out stunning! She helped us figure out to save money with a couple statement pieces and to use some smaller center pieces to really complement them and make those pop to keep a reasonable budget. Our statement center pieces were breathtaking!!! They were that perfect amount of wow without being over the top. My husband’s comment was Elishia made it look like the venue was designed to be decorated with the arrangements Elishia recommended, and that he couldn’t imagine anything possibly working better. So many people complemented all the floral pieces. It was all just so perfectly designed and we are so happy with the results.

loses down the shop briefly so she can dedicate her one-on-one time with you, gives her professional opinion in terms of bouquet design, any difficulties that may arise in acquiring certain flowers during the season of your wedding, and does everything possible to meet your expectations. She is also very friendly and is a great conversationalist (coming from someone who’s an introvert and doesn’t like talking, she is a very pleasant person to sit down and talk to). When I saw the bouquets, I was thoroughly impressed. I was equally impressed (and FLOORED) when I saw the memorial table vase of flowers as they were HUGE and exceptional compared to what I thought I paid for. Elishia delivered in flower quality (a week later, and they’re still beautiful & fragrant), customer service, and prompt replies when I asked questions. If ever I need or feel like ordering flowers again, I’ll be sure to use her and Lakeside Floral.

I had envisioned. I am a person with very little floral knowledge, and she patiently walked me through each decision, and was able to provide perspective and experience for my blind spots regarding a typical ceremony and reception. She was organized as well as crystal clear on expectations regarding pricing as well as types of flowers that would be available during the season of the wedding and was extremely responsive to emails and calls. I am preserving my bouquet and placing them in a shadow box so I can admire them forever! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

I didn't witness this myself but I was told that when she came to drop off our centerpieces, she actually helped set up the tables and rearranged some things to make the reception even better! She was also communicative and reliable. Lakeside Floral was very affordable, which is a plus, but I know it can be concerning that you'll "get what you pay for." I came in with a lower budget, so I appreciated her helping me stick to that and she even gave me tips for ceremony flowers that I could find at a greenhouse. This was a kind gesture because I felt like a few vendors tried to up-sell me, so I'm glad I didn't have that pressure with Elishia. While we were on our honeymoon, my mom took apart the bouquet to dry some of the flowers and she told me how well it was constructed. It definitely stayed in tact for the whole wedding. I'm definitely going to dedicate a photo of just the bouquet on our family room wall :)

I was so overwhelmed with the wedding planning process that it was a breath of fresh air to have Elishia ask for creative freedom after sending her my inspiration photos. Elishia respected our budget and never pushed us for further services but told us to let her know if we needed anything further.
