Choosing Lakeside Gardens for our destination wedding was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how absolutely gorgeous the grounds are — the gardens are breathtaking, and the views made for the most stunning ceremony backdrop and photos we'll treasure forever. Every corner of the property felt like it was made for a wedding.
What really set this venue apart was how seamless the entire process was. Lakeside Gardens includes a wedding coordinator, and we were lucky enough to work with Noel, who was an absolute dream. Noel includes a planning session that spells out exactly what is needed to make your wedding day go smoothly — and it truly does. Thanks to that, our day was completely stress-free, and we could actually be present and enjoy every moment instead of worrying about the details.
The venue even has an onsite studio for hair and makeup. All of our bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done there, and they did a wonderful job — it was so nice having a place to get ready on site instead of rushing around from salon to salon on the morning of the wedding.
The pricing was upfront, detailed, and affordable — no surprises, no hidden fees, just honest and transparent numbers, which is so rare when planning a wedding. The food was incredible; our guests are still talking about it.
Lakeside Gardens is a truly inclusive venue that made us feel cared for from start to finish. If you're looking for a beautiful setting, an all-inclusive experience, and a team that genuinely wants your day to be perfect, this is the place. We can't recommend it enough!!

The whole team was extremely easy to work with and communicated quickly and efficiently throughout the entire process. Noel was the on-site wedding day coordinator and was absolutely on top of everything! I don't typically get help on the wedding day, but having her there was amazing. By the time I noticed something that needed my attention, Noel was already on it. The whole wedding was gorgeous and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Lakeside Gardens blends tall cedars, weeping willows and lakes surrounded by a garden paradise. Lakeside Gardens offers you the ultimate Oregon setting, a grande estate and royal service. We are a Private Event Facility situated on seven acres. We schedule events year round.
We are conveniently located, nestled between Gresham and Happy Valley Lakeside Gardens is located 3 miles east of I-205 on Foster Road. Only minutes from the Portland International Airport and Sunnyside Corridor.
Lakeside Gardens offers packages for up to 300 guests. If you are considering a smaller event inquire about our Intimate Wedding Package(50 to 20 Guests) or our Elopement Package(20 Guests or less).
All venue rental include the following Amenities:

We are an all inclusive venue offering essential vendors to create an amazing team of professionals for a stress free experience. Your expert Event Coordinator will work with you throughout the planning process and will assist with any additional services you would like to book including Photography, Videography, DJ, Hair and Makeup plus Floral Design.
During the warmer months, you may choose to marry outside at the Upper Gazebo. You’ll proceed through a charming white pergola, covered in a sweetly scented wisteria, to the gazebo. Hanging baskets of flowers and beds of flowers adorn the gazebo. At any time of the year, you may choose to exchange vows in the Terrace Room. Your ceremony can be held under the arched ceiling, overlooking the idyllic upper Lake.
Evenings at Lakeside Gardens are gorgeous year round. At night, the grounds twinkle with lights lining the bridges and outlining the roof. White landscape lights encircle the lakes and charming outdoor lamps light your way for a romantic nighttime stroll.
We encourage you to make your reservations as early as possible as dates fill up quickly. Reservations one year to six months in advance is recommended, particularly for a summer evening wedding. Enjoy Oregon’s garden paradise on your wedding day and watch your dreams come true!

The venue is stunning, with a lot of outdoor area for guests to explore (the swan was photographed quite a bit!), and a renovated reception hall. It was the perfect spot with lots to do for guests of all backgrounds. There are so many photo opportunities (especially with the Spring/Summer florals), and our guests really enjoyed it + the scenery. The food was delicious; we got so many compliments on it! The whole staff was amazing the day of, ensuring that everything was what we pictured, it was seamless and the perfect day for us. They were mindful of cultural accommodations and flexible throughout the planning process. Their preferred vendors for the Photo Booth, cake (Sweets by Anastasia), and filmography (LK Films, Kenny) were all 10/10!!!

e, and Lakeside's all inclusive services delivered just that. The planning process was seamless even as we lived out of state. We went with ALL of Lakeside's in house or recommended vendors except photographer. Lakeside handled and/or coordinated our catering, bar, florals, cake, hair/makeup, and DJ - our bridal party even stayed in the on site accommodation the night before the wedding. Every vendor absolutely knocked it out of the park. Having a team that works together regularly made a huge difference in the day running seamlessly.
I cannot say enough positive things about our event coordinator Noel. She was so kind and attentive to all of our asks and helped bring our vision to life. She was always quick to answer questions and provide her input and expertise. Noel left NOTHING to chance on our wedding day - she put together a plan for the day and executed it perfectly. No detail was missed. She also went above and beyond making sure my husband and I were taken care of. Our dinner was plated for us and brought to our sweetheart table, and she kept checking to make sure we got to eat our dinner!! ❤️

One of the biggest things that sold me on Lakeside early on was how transparent they were with costs. At our initial tour, we were given a price sheet that broke down costs for each individual service and estimated overall costs depending on number of guests and catering/bar service choices. This helped us make informed decisions about hired services from Day 1. Throughout our planning, if ever a price needed adjusted (ex. final guest count affecting catering price) Noel was quick to provide us updated invoices. All said and done we actually came in just under budget and I thank Lakeside and their transparency for making that possible.
I really have nothing but good things to say and thank Lakeside SO much for making our wedding day perfect. If you want a stunning Portland wedding venue, this is it!

Our event coordinator Noel was a life saver during the entire process. She organized our schedule, answered our million questions and overall helped execute our dream wedding. We additionally got food accommodations and any questions we had for our guests on diet restrictions.
There were a lot of fires to be put out, but both Noel and Han helped save the day!!!! For example, it started to rain the day of - but we were able to get everything secured inside and photos done during rain breaks. There were also other fires that could have ruined the entire wedding (family related) but they kept those out of sight, and kept ME calm. Honestly could not ask for more!!
Comments from our guests were overwhelmingly positive. The food, drinks, and the staff were 10/10. Overall I have nothing negative to say about the venue, and we believe everybody should get married here!!

te I wanted for the outdoor wedding was not available due to weather, so she worked with us on getting another date that also had significance. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony with indoor reception, and Taylor made sure that everyone knew what was happening and when. She provided us information at every turn when we considered changing the size of the wedding, and the food options, and she made everything easy to understand so we could make the decisions that benefitted us.
The pricing for the venue, plus food and drink options was unbeatable! (The pricing included all chairs, tables, table linens, silverware, even some centerpiece options and large floral decor for the buffet table, as well as coffee, tea, hot water, and the champagne toast!) There are plenty of options to choose from for plated dinners, and they were kind enough to ensure that our allergen-free requests were accommodated to the best of their ability. No one needed an Epi pen (though we brought 2 in case of emergency), and no one had an allergic reaction. With them offering nuts and fish on their menu for other events, the fact that there was NO cross contamination, and thus no allergic reactions, just speaks to their cleanliness and sanitation practices. The chicken and vegetarian meals were a hit, but the steak had mixed reviews.
We went with an outside vendor for DJ/MC and Hair and Makeup, and we ended up doing our own decor items so we didn't need floral. I will say that I kind of regret not going with Hair and Makeup from Lakeside Gardens, but it all worked out in the end.
Everyone was kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, and the venue itself is just stunning! With it's natural beauty, we needed very little in the way of decor, which made it far more cost-effective than other options.

so well manicured which is what sold us. From start to finish the team at Lakeside went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect! They were always immediately responsive, accommodating to all our unique asks, and provided helpful suggestions if we were at a loss when making decisions. The day before, we decided to switch our ceremony to be inside rather than outside due to the historic heatwave and they didn't blink an eye. Everything went so smoothly and Taylor was calm, caring, and couldn't be more perfect in coordinating and managing all the details that made the day truly perfect. So grateful to have found a gorgeous spot with the most professional, hardworking, and spot on staff!

he most easy, dreamy wedding a couple could ask for. From the very beginning planning stages with our organizer, Taylor, to a beautifully executed function, I truly don't know if there's another venue that would have handled our wedding better than Lakeside Gardens.
When our original venue closed down in 2020 due to the pandemic, we kept our contracts with some of our original vendors. The only exception was a florist. We hadn’t secured one yet so we used Lakeside Gardens’ florist and she took my succulent and plum dahlia floral vision and made it all come to life while saving us a ton of money.
On the day of our wedding, Taylor and her crew were adaptable with switching our outdoor ceremony to an all indoor ceremony and reception due to the rain. There was even a power outage when the bridal party arrived and, thanks to a generator, none of our guests had a clue the power was out. The DJ played on, the kitchen still cranked out amazing food and the whole service staff was on point.
We never worried or wanted for anything on our big day. Taylor was right there, the whole evening, with us until the end, keeping things rolling and gently reminding us of our timeline. She seemed to be everywhere, all the time.
Our guests were awestruck at how beautiful the venue was and how on top of everything the staff was throughout the night. I have nothing but the highest recommendations for the venue, Taylor and her staff. If you want a professionally executed, easy wedding that will impress your guests, choose Lakeside Gardens.

Overall, I am really happy that I decided to go with Lakeside Gardens. I did a lot of research on venues that offered outdoor ceremony settings with an indoor reception, and Lakeside was a great price and a great value. Our guests enjoyed the site and the pictures look beautiful.

around 4:15pm causing a power outage for 4hrs! The power outage was not in Lakeside Garden's control but they didn't have a functioning generator as a back up. That meant no AC on a 94 degree day, no lights in the bathrooms or bridal prep rooms, no music, no food, you can imagine my panic! Luckily the power was restored at 8:04pm and we were able to proceed with our night. They were helpful and apologetic but we had to write a letter to request compensation for food quality issues and other inconveniences. Word to the wise, always ask if they have a back up plan for things such as power outages!

The venue comes with a caterer that you have to use, as far as wedding food goes I'd say the food is average, or maybe a tiny bit above average, but I don't think anyone expects wedding food to be five star dining. All the other vendors you can pick.

But it was my husband I had to convince. It just so happened we were to attend a wedding there a couple weeks later. The staff let me choose a date with no money down, (there were only 2 summer Saturdays available) and held it for me until the day of the wedding we were to attend there.
The wedding was beautiful! We placed our deposit down the evening of our friend's wedding.
Since that day, our assigned wedding planner was wonderful!! She always made herself available to answer questions. She was very easy to work with and did everything she could to make our special day be just that, special.
Our ceremony was beautiful, overlooking a gazebo and beautiful lakes. Our reception was a blast, as guests had access to the entire property to enjoy the gardens and lakes beauty. We had an ice cream truck at the wedding, and Lakeside Gardens made it happen just the way I wanted. The food was phenomenal and the guests were still talking about it after the reception. We also set up a photo booth in the reception area, and again, Chris, our wedding director, made it happen just the way we wanted.
