large filets, other times its fish ‘nuggets’. Sometimes the food is out ‘fast’ but most of the time we sit at the table wondering what’s going on in the kitchen. The burgers are tasty but almost always come out with something on them that we don’t ask for (ie cheese or sauce). Keep ketchup in your condiment carriers. 90% of people ordering burgers and or fries take ketchup, this I know ….. I owned a restaurant. Save your staff the extra time walking back and fourth to the table again, especially when you’re short staffed. It’s unfortunate because there was a point in time that we were so happy that the Lakeside (Knuckles Bar & Grill) was putting out decent, consistent food and service. Yes, the patio and outdoor atmosphere is great. I just don’t know what happened to everything else. I will drive the few extra miles to Hope, ID for a meal from now on. ———- And I’ve never seen it posted or disclosed (it’s usually noted on the menus) that you charge a credit card fee. I’m not arguing that there is a fee, but it must be disclosed to all customers. And your suggested tip should not include this fee either.

to let them know I was not showing up because I was sick with the flu, they said they had to charge me for one nights stay, I said fine I already paid it. No corrections from the person on the phone. Guess what? I was charged an additional nights stay! So the first withdrawal was NOT to pay for my stay? Be careful what you are signing up with this group. When I lived there decades ago it was more of an honest place to stay. Next visit, I will not stay here.

ord exchanged the whole time (at the bar). Finally get the 1 burger and fries i ordered. Go to use ketchup and the bottle about explodes due to the cap barely being on. Notified server and gave them a heads up it was of such important that as I left the unsecured bottle was still sitting on the counter for everybody to use and ruin their food with. Then i cut my burger in half and take a bite just to notice the pink raw center of both patties. I discreetly asked the server if BURGERS are normally served pink in the middle? I know STEAK is. Was told yep it wont make you sick. (didn't realize i was paying $20 at a "RESORT" for my food to not be cooked but wont get me sick). Tried to take another bite but that was pointless the thought of eating raw HAMBURGER is just disgusting and killed my appetite. so I left the uncooked food to the side missing 2 little bites asked for my check and rang out. My dissatisfaction was apparently obvious because I was not offered or asked about a to go for my practically full order. Nor was i offered for it to be cooked all the ways or any compensation for leaving a $20 hamburger sitting on the counter thatbi have make very apparent that i am dissatisfied with before and as im paying for it. Clearly there is a issues. Burger Was not advertised as medium rare un cooked hamburger nor did i make any special request for such. Definitely something that if you're going to cook in a particular style that most places do not then you should advertise that it is not cooked all the ways or you should ask your customer to what degree they want it cooked like the house does(uncooked and middle not reaching safe temp) or well done(fully cooked and brought to proper internal temperature). All in all between the server and the food I'll never be back not even when offered to come here for free food with family and friends like in the past. the whole experience is and was infuriating. I do not know a politer way to point out there is an issue with my burger then asking you quietly about it being pink in the middle and then also following that up not eating it and cashing out immediately. Multiple opportunities for a conversation to be had that could have easily straightened out the issue, avoided this review and gotten you a tip. I can honestly say this is the first time in at least two years if not longer that I've went somewhere and not tipped. Even when having a bad experience I can't recall the last time that I left a $0 tip. like I did in this case and to my surprise have felt no remorse or Shame about it. Only shame that I felt was actually paying for such an excuse of service and horrible food. Better off walking across the street and hitting up the deli at the local store staff will be friendlier food will be better and will be cheaper
