About this vendor
At Lakeside Weddings + Events we believe that every occasion should tell a story. We are here to ensure that your wedding is styled uniquely to you so that it tells YOUR story. I've always had a passion for organizing and planning, and love to share those qualities by providing stress-free experiences. Ones where my clients do not have to worry about the preparations and details. I started Lakeside Weddings + Events because at the end of the day I am a hopeless romantic, and I am incredibly fortunate to work with remarkable people while doing what I love to do.

Laurie Asplund, founder, owner & lead planner of Lakeside Wedding & Events, came recommended by a close personal friend and couple. They had worked with Laurie for their special d...
ay and passed along her contact information right as i was beginning the planning process. Her services, support, guidance and execution were just what we needed. We had many moving parts to our wedding (multiple locations, two separate groups to coordinate, additional vendors, indoor and outdoor components, trolleys, cars, boats, etc etc) and she handled each one with ease and confidence. Her attention to detail and efficient way of delegating was not unnoticed. Laurie took the time to meet with us personally prior and really saw and heard our vision. She was communicative, transparent and timely with responses. She was patient with my over abundant amount of questions, changing of my mind decisions and general day of anxieties. It was extremely helpful having someone to bounce ideas, brainstorm and in all honesty, speak candidly with throughout this process. Laurie’s talent, creative mind and overall energy really added to our wedding. I highly recommend Laurie Asplund of Lakeside Weddings & Events.

t the best possible experience, this should be left to professionals. No family, guest, or member of the wedding party should have to work on this special day. I was able to be a guest at my own daughter’s wedding and just enjoy it all. The ceremony was flawless. Timing was perfect and presentation was beautiful. Every detail was so special. Thank you for a job well done and a charming, memorable day, with no stress!
