Even as a type A, hyper-organized bride her experience, understanding of the wedding industry and ability to make sure everything went seamless the day of the wedding were invaluable. She went above and beyond to make our planning process easier - from putting finishing touches on our decor to returning our rentals. Plus, she made the entire experience more fun and was a joy to work with!

Truly not enough good things to say about the Laki team, especially Taylor. Taylor was responsive, kind, fun to be around, and always had a suggestion on how to make our day go smoothly. Leading up to the wedding day, Taylor had absolutely everything organized and professionally done. The week of our wedding was just about mindless because we had full faith that she had everything under control. Our wedding day was so stress-free and easy because of them. Our entire bridal party commented on how hard they were working the whole day, but at the same time, they were constantly present and excited for us. I would recommend this team to everyone.

I wish I could give 100 stars!! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with this amazing company. They made the planning process and our day absolutely beyond our wildest dreams. Jaclyn was our main planner and she is so creative, talented, caring, kind, just an all around amazing person. Taylor, Lara, everyone we came in contact from their team is top notch. We also used Laki for floral. Lara creates the most beautiful floral designs and went the extra mile to ensure it was exactly what we were hoping for.

Taylor, Lara, and the Laki team are a dream to work with. I feel like they could read my mind because I barely had to interact with them at and everything still turned out exactly how I wanted it to. Unrelated pro tip: let your wife do all of the wedding planning. In all seriousness I would not hesitate to trust them with your special day. They are professional, responsive, and very kind and patient. I became very worried when I saw Taylor wearing an OSU hat (typically that is indicative of a lower than average IQ)... but she is a winner, unlike their football team and every other OSU alum I have ever interacted with. I like Taylor almost as much as I hate OSU. Go Blue.

Highly recommend!!! We had Taylor doing the planning and floral services and it was absolutely amazing. She brought our vision to life, I adored the florals Taylor made for us, and she made the whole process of planning the wedding so much easier. On the wedding day Taylor made sure everything ran smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything. It was the best!!

We couldn't recommend Laki Events enough for wedding planning services. Evin and team made the entire process so easy and their communication was excellent. They truly made us feel special and their ability to tailor our wedding to our desires was so impressive. They are experts in what they do and even when the planning was finished they carried through that expertise and professionalism to our wedding day, which was flawless and stress free. Laki Events ROCKED IT! They put together a perfect wedding for 250 plus guests in our backyard. They allowed me as the bride to not have to worry at ALL! They were amazing to work with.

Laki Events was extremely easy to work with for our Scottsdale, AZ wedding in March 2023. We LOVED working with Jackie; the team has multiple planners and we were lucky to be paired with Jackie. We got the partial planning package but the team went above and beyond with communication, suggestions, planning advice, and questions we had not even thought about. We also had floral from Laki and it was SO helpful to have everything under one roof. They even offered to store our items prior to the day and helped make sure our day-of went of without a single hitch.

After getting engaged and deciding to have a destination wedding in Phoenix, we started researching vendors and realized how overwhelming planning a wedding is, on top of living a thousand miles away from your destination. I started looking into wedding planners and came across laki events and design. I cannot say enough great things about this company. Jacklyn was my contact and made everything so easy on us. She was very responsive to all our questions and never went a day without answering even our most trivial questions. Once we booked our vendors, we gave her the information and she handled absolutely everything from there. She set up our timeline from start to finish of the day. She and her team made my wedding day so enjoyable and took on all responsibilities of communicating with vendors, setting EVERYTHING up, and taking everything down and placing it in our room at the end of the night. I didn’t have a single worry the day of the wedding.

After getting engaged, I knew that I wanted a day of coordinator. I met with several vendors and was about to move forward with one until I realized that I hadn't met with Laki yet. I made one more appointment and met with Evin. From our first zoom, I knew immediately that Evin was someone I wanted to work with on our wedding. We had a pretty quick engagement (August to February), but Evin was absolutely incredible to work with. Even though we only chose the 90 day package, she made herself available to answer any questions that I had throughout the whole planning process and even came to a tasting that was not part of the agreed upon services. Evin anticipated our needs and provided ideas and suggestions of things that we hadn't even thought of. I always looked forward to my calls with Evin because she was a true partner in the planning process and made it fun & stress free. Later on the planning process, Taylor was brought in as well and I can't thank both of them enough for all of the hard work & organization that they provided to make our wedding completely stress free. When hiring a planner, my goal was that in doing so, my husband and our families and bridal party would truly be able to enjoy the day. Evin & Taylor accomplished that ten fold. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes that a planner is in charge of and they made it seem truly effortless. If you're on the fence about hiring a planner, or considering Laki, I cannot recommend them enough!

Laki Events + Design did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding! We worked with Evin, but the whole team was incredible. Evin made sure to get a real understanding of us as a couple and what exactly we were looking for in our wedding. We felt like it was so easy to work with her - she knew exactly what we were hoping for, exactly what we were envisioning. It can be difficult to fully explain your vision for such an important day, but Evin was able to interpret the emotion, vibe, and energy that we wanted and make excellent suggestions for us. Her advice was always something like: "Here's what I think you're looking for, and this is how I think we can accomplish it." For example, we were unsure of whether we should do a sweetheart table or sit with our whole wedding party for the reception. Evin, taking into consideration the size of the event, the level of formality we desired, and the layout of the venue, advised us that a sweetheart table would be the better option for us, so that we could better interact with all our guests, and provide a better level of visual symmetry in the space. This turned out to be a great call - having our sweetheart table in the center of the space created a great flow throughout the evening, as our guests could come up to us and we could easily make our rounds. This is just one example of MANY. Evin was also able to refer us to other vendors that were a great fit for us based on our personalities and values! Furthermore, Evin was there to support us emotionally as well. We found out very late in the planning that my father-in-law would not be able to come due to serious health concerns, which was of course devastating to us. Evin heard us, empathized with our pain, and was able to guide us back to a place of excitement and joy, reminding us of our strengths as a couple and refocusing us on the true purpose of our wedding. I don't know if this is just part of the job for a wedding planner, and quite frankly, I don't care - I am just extremely grateful that we had Evin in our corner, and I could not imagine doing this with anyone else. In the months after our wedding, all we've been able to talk about was how perfect the day was, how much fun we had, and how it was exactly what we'd hoped and prayed for. Evin was an integral part of what made our wedding so incredible. Lest I forget, we also used Laki Events for our florals. Once again, we were blown away by their intuitiveness and ability to translate our vague ideas and emotions into a physical reality. They were able to capture the formal, sublime winter aesthetic perfectly, with deep greens, brilliant whites and soft blushes to create an austere, pristine environment inside the banquet hall. It was exactly what we had envisioned, and we couldn't have been happier. Quite simply, we were exuberant. Evin, and everyone at Laki Events + Design, will always hold a special place in our hearts and we are so grateful to them. You will not be disappointed!!

Truly the best team I could have asked for! I threw a wedding in my backyard this past November. I started out only wanting the 90 day planner but I upgraded to the partial planner and it was so worth it! Evin was so on top of it and answered all my questions and guided me through the whole process. She had a vendor for everything! She was so wonderful the day of my whole family and my new husband fell in love with her. I also booked my florals with Laki Events. They were really able to help me stretch my budget and bring my vision to life! Everyone was so impressed. I will think about those flowers forever. My bouquet and my bridesmaids were so stunning and it exactly what I was looking for. Let it be noted that my new husband helped write this review because he was so thankful to the Laki Team! I recommend Laki to all my newly engaged friends!

I'm so incredibly grateful that I decided to hire Laki for month-of services for our wedding in Sedona. It was worth every cent. After a whole year of planning on my own, I was so stressed and wasn't sure whether I wanted to give up control. But when I offloaded the work to Evin, I felt like a boulder was lifted. Evin immediately took the reins and made sure the month-of process was seamless and worry-free. Not only did she bring her wedding knowledge and experience, she was also easy to talk to, flexible, and accommodating. She's also very detailed and reliable - one example of this is I didn't even notice I ordered the wrong chairs for the ceremony, but she corrected this right away. Even the smallest mishaps (that are bound to happen in any large event!), like the shuttle missing a stop or my veil falling off pre-ceremony, Evin was so on top of it that I felt completely at ease knowing she was there. Finally, I really appreciate their eye for design. I had a backyard wedding, and to save on costs, I had real flowers, fake flowers, garlands, and a bunch of randomly sized candles. Both Evin and Gabi decorated the whole event. It was so beautiful - it really blew my expectations out of the water. I got so many compliments from the guests. I highly recommend hiring Laki and would do it again if I could.

Working with Laki was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made, hands down. Lara and her team exceeded all expectations. Our wedding was outdoors and we wanted a wildflower theme. My husband's tie was a floral print and Lara used the pattern to design the color scheme as well as the florals. Everything from the flower crowns for the flower girls to the boutonnieres and of course, my bouquet and the arbor were simply perfect. We wanted the florals to shine and shine they did. We worked with Lara & Evin, and from the start they not only made us feel like family, but were extremely helpful in asking all of the right questions to help pull the ideas out from our heads and get them on paper. Throughout the entire time we worked with Laki, they were extremely responsive, knowledgeable (both about rentals as well as other various wedding related situations & best practices) and actionable. The moment we needed a new quote, or something adjustment, they'd reach out to the vendor asap to coordinate. They brought our vision to life, and were so loving throughout the entire process. The day of our ceremony, they handed EVERYTHING. We didn't even have to think! They were on it, and it allowed us to just enjoy the day. We hired Laki Events and Design for our destination wedding (we live in Chicago but our wedding was in Scottsdale, Arizona) and they were FABULOUS! We interviewed quite a few of potential wedding planners before we came across Laki and it was clear from our very first Zoom call with Lara that they were best possible option. Lara and Brooke were an absolute pleasure to work with every step of the way - they are professional, detail oriented and creative - everything you could want in an event planner. They thought of absolutely everything, they solved problems before they happened and anticipated my every need as the bride. On top of everything else Brook and Lara are two of the kindest, most genuine women - they are so sweet and so fun to be around! Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and so much of that was thanks to Lara and Brooke. If you are a bride-to-be planning a wedding (or any event, for that matter) you MUST call Laki Events and Design - they are simply the BEST.

We are a couple from MN that wanted to have our wedding in beautiful AZ. We originally did not think we needed any wedding planner, however our venue required it. We are SO GLAD we ended up having LAKI Events as our planners. From the first stages of planning to the day of Evin and Lara were instrumental in making it a smooth and amazing day. They created a perfect and smooth day where we did not have to worry about anything other than smiling for the photos! We are incredibly grateful for all of their assistance and the work they did behind the scenes to allow us to spend more time with our loved ones during the day. I wish there were 11 stars as a rating because that's what I would give!!! PURE PERFECTION!!! I am a destination bride from the east coast, and I actually found Laki Events from visiting my venue the day that they were setting up another wedding (in April 2021). I got to see them bring my venue to life and it honestly had me SOLD right away - on both the venue and using Laki!!! I met Brooke, the team lead for that wedding, and I told her I was only in town for a few days, and asked if she had time to have a meeting with me. She was kind enough to fit me into her busy schedule, and made me feel SO CALM and mellow about the entire planning process. I knew I wanted to go with Laki right away, and had a meeting set up with Lara, the owner, via Zoom. Lara was WONDERFUL!!! She was so easy to work with over the phone and Zoom - which is extremely important for a destination bride because it’s already so difficult being far away. I decided to plan my wedding in October of 2021, so we already were on a time crunch. Lara gave me such great recommendations. She even went to see samples for me, and face-timed me so we could pick things out together (such as linens and the kind of flatware/dishes I wanted). Another positive is that Lara has a second part of the business and also does the floral, so I she was able to bring my full vision to life on both ends of the spectrum! Lara helped me book vendors, rentals, and bring everything in. She also assigned Brooke to my wedding as the Team Lead since I loved her so much! When I saw the venue on my big day, I was just blown away with how everything came to life! Exactly what I envisioned. The details were just unbelievable, and the flowers were amazing. Lara, Brooke, Gina, and team - thank you SO MUCH for my absolutely PERFECT day!!! I truly could not have pulled this off without you amazing ladies!!! Everyone at home on the east coast is still talking about the wedding to this day - so you know it was an overall hit! Thank you again Laki!!!! <3

I actually don't even know where to start...the entire Lake team helped us create and execute the wedding of our dreams! To be honest, we were a little hesitant to hire a planner at first (bc we wanted to stay within our budget!), but we are SO happy we did. Our lead planner Brooke was an actual angel — she went above and beyond to make sure our day was beyond perfect. From the moment we met Brooke, we both felt heard. She totally understood our vision and was ready to take on the task. She is SO detail oriented, organized and supportive. Brooke even went as far as to offer pick up various rentals for us from various places and checked in multiple times just to see how we were feeling and ask if there was ANYTHING we needed. If you're planning a wedding, you know there are so many details that go into the day/the timeline/etc. Brooke and the Laki team HANDLED it. The day was perfection and we owe SO much to the entire Laki team. Brooke was an incredible advocate for us and we are so appreciative. I cannot recommend Laki (and our gal Brooke N.!) more!

I cannot recommend hiring Lara and her team more... if I could give more than 5 stars I would and I am not exaggerating at all. Going into wedding planning, 2 of my goals (beyond get married and have a good dance party) were: have an organized / well flowing wedding and actually be able to enjoy myself with my guests instead of being stressed. Lara and her team were able to help accomplish both. Lara helped us initially with the flow, layout, timeline, and space flips. This was at a venue where we had to bring everything in so her expertise was amazing to ensure it was set up properly. She also was a wonderful sounding board throughout the process and provided amazing vendor contacts! Brooke was assigned to help month of and let me tell you... she was a god send. She swooped in and took over all the critical details (like vendor arrival times, etc) that you just do not want to worry about the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was so competent and always available for any little question / request / re-assurance. To me, this was invaluable because leading up to the wedding I was able to be excited, happy, and creating memories vs. worried and stressed. I really cannot thank her enough for that. Additionally, we did the decor elements ourselves (DIY flowers/vases/etc.) and then passed over to Lara / Brooke to set up - they set up everything better than our imagination!! Last, I will close with the organization. The team did a fabulous job with the timeline and flow both during and leading up to the event. The timeline was down to the minute which I appreciate. There also were multiple flips and difficulties with the venue that we needed to work through and the executed flawlessly. We had more than one guest comment on the organization of the planning team, a few even said it was the most organized wedding they have ever seen! In closing, I would recommend the Laki team to absolutely anyone hands out! They really are amazing and I could not have done it without them.

Lara and her team executed a flawless magical wedding. The venue was a private residence with many restrictions . All of her suggestions relating to flow and timeline were spot on. Her suggested vendors were professional friendly and stellar. The lighting created such a magical space,the linens added a touch of elegance and romance, the food fantastic. Flipping the space for multiple use was seamless. The wait staff were so professional . Many people said it was the best wedding they had been to as far as beauty , ceremony, food, dancing,bar. It was everything my daughter and fiancé wanted for their perfect day, an intimate beautiful wedding and a rocking party. Thank you , we would never have been able to pull this off with out you!

We hired Laki Events + Design for both our 30-day + day-of coordination in addition to our forals and decor for our April 2021 wedding in Scottsdale. Lara and team were recommended to us by our venue, and she did not disappoint! I wasn't the girl who knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding day, but I knew I wanted a clean and classic look. Lara helped bring this vision to life and because of her, the day went flawlessly. It was extremely advantageous to have our coordinator also handle florals and decor - the "one stop shop" was instrumental in making this a very easy process. I feel so lucky to have found Lara. She has a calming demeanor that radiates throughout the entire wedding process. and I would highly recommend to any family or friends. There was an unfortunate and unforeseen last minute change to our wedding that occurred 4 days prior to walking down the aisle. Our outdoor wedding had to move inside for dancing, something that would normally be just fine, but in the midst of a pandemic, we were hoping for a 100% outdoor event. Upon receiving the news that we had to move inside, Lara and her team seamlessly handled the situation both with my husband and I and the resort. By no means was this an easy task, especially with hours to go until our wedding. I know Lara worked extra hours that week to ensure things worked out and that my husband and I were happy. She transformed a space that 1 week before we hadn't even talked about nor planned for. Lara made some calls and ultimately, made things happen. By the end of our wedding, we were more than happy. We are so grateful to have Lara help us through the last minute changes and make our wedding come to life. Our weekend was everything we wanted and none of that would have been possible without the amazing team at Laki Events + Design. If you're looking for a team that knows what they are doing, a team that is adaptable and able to make things work no matter what, and extremely friendly - I highly recommend hiring them!

I do not even know how to begin this review. I don’t usually write reviews but honestly if one team deserves the best review and a huge thank you, it’s Laki. I worked closely with Lara and Jamie and they were better than I cold have ever dreamed of. They started out as wedding planners but ended as family. I truly could not have done it without them! Lara and her team made sure every single detail of my wedding was perfect. I currently live in Chicago and our wedding was in Arizona. Throw COVID in that picture and wedding planning turned out to be a little more stressful than I imagined it being. But with multiple zoom planning meetings, and Lara’s always calm presence, my wedding turned out better than I could have ever imagined! Her organization is impeccable- truly I have never seen anything like it. Not only did she plan my wedding, organize all the vendors, make sure every single detail big or small was perfect.. oh and helped me pull off a last minute venue and date change (like literally a month and a half before the wedding).. BUT SHE DID MY FLORALS TOO!! And let me tell you they were so beautiful. I don’t know how she does it but I do know she is a super human. All I can talk about is how amazing Laki is. If you are looking for a wedding planner, I am telling you to look no further. Lara and her team were absolutely amazing!! I can honestly say my day was just perfect because of them. Deciding to hire a planner and specifically picking Lara was the best decision I could have made. The entire day and days leading up to the wedding felt so easy and simple. Lara thought of everything - so many details that never crossed my mind that played key roles in ensuring a flawless day from the perfect ceremony to the best reception. Everyone kept telling me how oddly relaxed I was. Other people were stressing and anxious while I sat around and just soaked it all in. The venue set up, flowers and centerpieces were absolutely perfect! Lara did my flowers as well and she nailed my vision 100%. I could not have asked for anything different. My parents were especially impressed with their attention to detail and work ethic. I’ve never seen my mother so pleasantly surprised and relaxed. She actually enjoyed the day rather than running around feeling the need to do everything. I would definitely recommend Lara for your next event. Lara and Laki Events + Design team achieved absolute PERFECTION for our December wedding! From meeting Lara in our initial meeting, I knew I could count on her and her team. She spent the time learning what I pictured and after explaining my color scheme, she named off at least a dozen different blush and nude colored roses I had not heard of that we could use! She is very attentive, has an eye for creativity and detail, and creates a detailed proposal - making it easy to both picture design, and see the budget breakdown. We were in love with our floral design and the execution. We got compliments on their work day and night. My bridal bouquet was dreamy and all of the ceremony vessel arrangements were strikingly gorgeous! Seriously, Laki Events + Design made our dreams come true and we could not be more thankful. I cannot wait to get professional pictures and post them to social media to brag about how amazing they are! I highly recommend booking this amazing team. Lara and her team are absolutely incredible. They made our day so special and we can’t recommend Laki Events + Design enough! We used Lara for florals, design and also day of planning. Lara is so sweet and knowledgeable in her craft. From the start, communication was quick and organized. Lara took all of my ideas and completely brought them to life. The final product was magical! Our friends and family are still raving about our table setting. She has contacts with local companies to streamline rentals from other vendors, which was super helpful. The day of planning took so much stress off our shoulders, we didn’t have to worry about a thing! She jumped right in to help with a last minute veil issue and tackled a seating chart change (literally as we were about to walk down the aisle) in such a calm, composed manner. Highly recommend Lara and her team for all your wedding needs!

We interviewed three wedding planners, Lara was the only one that met us over Zoom and took the time to answer all of our questions. From the start Lara met with us several times over Zoom and met us for our venue walk through. 12 days before the wedding our venue cancelled! Lara was there to help find a new venue and make sure everything was covered. The day of the wedding everything went perfectly. Lara and Jamie seamlessly took care of everything! We had talked with Lara and shared pictures of how we wanted our reception to look. When we walked in Lara and Jamie had hit a grand slam!!! Everything was perfect! Lara is able to provide rental item from her inventory and her ability to provide all the floral arrangements made Lara a standout! All the arrangements and bridal party flowers were perfect!! At the reception Lara made sure everything was taken care of! We had a drink as soon as we sat down and at the end of the night she took care of making sure all of our pictures and other items were returned to our room!! We had a perfect wedding and a large part of that was Laki Events & Design!! Thank you so much Lara and Jamie!!!!

I hired Lara to be my month of coordinator and I don't think my wedding would've been as beautiful and stress-free as it was without her and her team! The day couldn't have been more perfect. She made sure everything I wanted was executed. She took so much off my plate and was very easy to communicate with!!

Lara is the best! We booked her/Laki for the month of planning and I know this was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. I was so stressed out coming into the month before the wedding but when we met for our 30 day meeting and went over everything this is when the pieces all started to fall into place and I could start to relax again. I know that I could not have had the same amazing wedding day if I didn't have Lara there and her assistant Jamie. Day of, I didn't have to worry about a thing. They were so on top of everything and made this such a smooth day for us. I highly highly recommend Lara and her team.

Lara was our day of plus some wedding coordinator and florist/designer for our wedding this past September in Scottsdale, AZ. We were planning from out of town with a 6 month timeframe. Lara was amazing from beginning to end. From our initial call, she was organized and thorough regarding understanding our vision for the day and in gathering the practical details. We were only able to visit the venue once before the wedding and she met us there and spent what seemed like the whole day with us ironing out the details. She sent us timelines, ideas, recommendations and a vision board so we could have an image of what our ideas might look like, but the end product was even more beautiful. She was always prompt in returning emails and phone calls regarding questions, etc. and was just such a wonderful person to work with. She made our day seamless and perfect and I cannot say enough good things about her! Thank you Lara!

Lara and her sweet assistant are seriously the most amazing team period. If I could give them more stars I def. would ! Lara is absolutely out of this world. She’s so organized, so prompt, and has such great ideas for just about everything ! She absolutely blew me out of the water. From our awesome phone calls - to her being so patient with a crazy bride - to meeting her in person and her just being so beautiful in and out- to her thoughtfulness with the whole process of crazy wedding stuff! Lara & Ken were a dream to work with! From the first conversation I had with Lara- I was so excited to have them as part of our wedding day. Lara had great ideas for our vision, responded timely, and they met us for hours long meetings around our schedule as we planned for our Scottsdale, AZ from Minnesota. Lara also let us send most of the things we needed to her so we didn’t have to check them in our luggage (even my fiancé asked to have a shirt & pair of shoes there and she let him, ha!) Ken executed our day perfectly and you can tell he has passion for making your wedding exactly how you visioned! Seeing the timeline that was made by Lara - it’s crazy how much behind the scenes there is for a wedding, but coordination.was.perfect. By the end, I wish they could have just been guests at our wedding, celebrating with us. I can’t thank Lara & Ken enough.

There isn't enough that can be said about how wonderful Lara and crew is! When I started my wedding planning process, I thought I could handle it all. Boy was I wrong. I reached out to Lara and instantly felt comfortable. She helped me reign in my family, who had more ideas than I could handle, and help my vision come to life. As an added bonus she a magician with flowers. She ended up doing my flowers for both my ceremony and reception venue. They were beyond perfect. The weekend of my wedding she had everything planned out. She coordinated my venders, help set up the church, make sure everyone was on time, so I could focus on my big day. Making the investment in her was the best decision I made for my wedding and my sanity. I was beyond grateful for everything she had done!

We used Laki for my sisters wedding and were totally blown away! Lara did a phenomenal job on the florals. People are still talking about them! She is super professional and one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Hands down the best experience we could have hoped for.

Lara and Ken are amazing! We planned our Scottsdale wedding from Seattle and because of Laki it was easy, fun, and we had our dream wedding. Lara is one of the most organized people I have ever met. She was always one step ahead of us and added so many great pieces to our day that we would have never thought of. Ken and Brooke ran our day of and everything went off perfectly. If you are getting married in Arizona use Laki. I would give them way more than 5 stars if I could!

Honestly, if I could give Lara and Ken more stars, I absolutely would. Lara was so attentive and made myself and my husband feel really special during the wedding planning process. She was always there for tips and suggestions when we needed it too. When it got to our special day, I didn't worry about a thing. I knew our wedding would be beautiful and impeccably coordinated. Ken and Lara even saved us from the world's worst DJ, but that's another story. Seriously, Laki will be the best wedding decision you'll make.

OMG. I don’t even know where to start. Lara was simply amazing! She is SO SO organized, which was so important to me being an out of state bride. Everything from our initial consultation to the end of our wedding night went perfectly. Lara is very responsive, professional and most importantly so very kind! Our wedding day was crazy but I couldn’t even tell that it was because of how good she is at her job! We had a bunch of wedding day decor (from California) and had brought it over during our final venue walk through and she was so sweet to take it all for us and brought it on the wedding day. That had saved us so much time and stress of worrying about how to bring everything with us on the plane the week of our wedding. This was hands down the best thing we had purchased for our wedding! Lara took out ALL of the wedding day stress for us. I especially love how detailed the timelines were! There was a time for everything and it was amazing because it kept everyone and everything on schedule. Lara and I worked on our timelines the month of our wedding and she made it so incredibly easy for us. We really cannot thank you enough Lara! We love you!! Brides: if you are like me, who love to plan your own wedding from start to finish but just need someone to make sure your day runs smoothly, Lara is the one for you!

Do yourself a favor and book Laki! My fiance, Nick, and I are still in complete awe at our entire wedding - all thanks to Lara and her team. She handles the entire wedding planning process calmly, professional and with enthusiasm and passion the entire way through. Making the choice to have Lara and her team at Laki Events a part of our wedding was the BEST choice we could have ever made! Lara is so sweet and easy to work with and she really made sure we had the wedding of our dreams. She was very professional throughout the whole process and such a huge help. If I ever had any questions or changes, she always got back to me in a timely manner and was very responsiveness to everything I needed. The day of our wedding, she made sure all vendors showed up on time and everything was set up ready to go. The whole day ran smoothly and she always made sure to check in and see how everything was going. Even after the wedding, both my husband and parents said Lara was amazing! Lara, Rachel, and the rest of the Laki Events team were AMAZING to work with. They thought of every detail to make our day so special and magical! Lara was very responsive, timely, and so easy to work with. Laki Events helped with planning, created custom signs, helped run the rehearsal, and set up day-of details. I was lucky enough to meet Lara and Ken through mutual friends. I could not be happier that they were brought into my life when I was needing some guidance the most with our wedding planning. Lara had recommendations for everything from DJs, florists, cakes, and so much more! She's got lists of vendors but she doesn't overwhelm you with too many choices. I was having an especially hard time finding a florist that I really connected with, and Lara took the time out of her day to not only set up a meeting with an AMAZING florist in downtown Phoenix but she also came with me to meet the florist in person and go over exactly what I wanted. During our meeting, I could tell that she's worked with the florist before too, and the florist loves working with her, which goes to show she's got some serious connections in the wedding industry. She even put together a concept board with photos and Pinterest pins I had shown her so that we had a whole cohesive visual to show vendors what I was envisioning for our special day. And if that wasn't enough....Lara and Ken even create their own unique pieces of furniture and decor that you can rent on your wedding day! I really can't recommend Laki Events & Design enough. I just have this total peace of mind knowing that they will be there with us on our wedding day, taking care of things for me and my fiance, and just allowing us to enjoy our day together!

We never knew how stressful planning and executing a wedding could be, let alone finding someone to help us plan it. After endless amounts of time spent searching for the perfect team we found one in Laki Events and Design (team consisting of Lara and Ken), and we are so thankful that we did as they alleviated so much of the pressure and stress of planning our dream wedding.
