Laki Events + Design

ly us. We’ve received countless compliments from guests about how authentic and meaningful it felt. Our day truly would not have been the same without Jaclyn’s guidance, insane talent, organization, and constant support. The week of our wedding, the stormy forecast had us spiraling—and Jaclyn was the calm we needed. She immediately hopped on the phone, walked us through every scenario, and reassured us without ever overpromising. With clear plans A, B, and C, she made us feel completely at ease knowing everything was handled, rain or shine (thankfully, shine!). Jaclyn is exactly who you want behind you on the biggest day of your life. She’s incredibly kind but also refreshingly honest when needed—something that’s rare and SO appreciated in a wedding planner. Because of her, everything flowed seamlessly and we were able to truly be present and enjoy every moment of our wedding weekend. If you’re reading Laki’s 5-star reviews and wondering if they’re really that good—yes, they are. That’s it. Their reputation in the industry is pristine, and Jaclyn and the entire team exceeded every expectation we had, and then some. We are beyond grateful to have worked with Jaclyn, Jordan, and Laki Events!

edding and Jaclyn and the team made sure nothing was missed. They are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all things wedding. Rentals, flowers, photographers, etc. They truly listened to us and delivered the wedding of my daughter’s dream! I was so relaxed the day of the wedding, knowing that everything was taken care of. I cannot recommend this company enough.  Our wedding was in December 2025.

o know me and my now husband to ensure that the day was exactly what we envisioned. They listened to everything we wanted, and then made suggestions that elevated our day beyond expectations. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, we had absolutely no idea - Taylor and Kass never let us stress and we had the entire day to just enjoy. 10000/10 recommend using Laki for your wedding - they are worth their weight in gold. without a doubt the absolute best investment made throughout the entire process.

specific, cross-cultural two-day wedding. We’d met with several wedding planners, who, while we liked their style or experience, Lara, along with Kassidy, were the first to bring both to the table. As two creatives, my wife and I brought larger-than-life ideas to the planning stage, and Lara and Kassidy never outright said “no, that’s impossible,” but rather found ways to help us realistically make our dreams come true. The entire team at Laki Events was also crucial on the day of our wedding. Of course Lara and Kassidy held our hands, kept us on schedule, and never panicked - so we never felt like we had to - but there were also several names and faces that we didn’t recognize from the planning stage, that on the day of, truly made it all come together, like Taylor, who several times throughout the day went above and beyond. Our family and friends were blown away by the decor, planning, and execution of every detail, which were carried out to perfection. We couldn’t recommend the team at Laki Events any higher than we do. They’re the best around, and if you’re considering them, just sign the paperwork already and make it happen. You won’t regret it.

out. their desire to bring your vision to life is a gift and we cant thank them enough! would hire again!

f every detail. Planning a semi-traditional Indian/Hindu wedding comes with a lot of moving parts and many opinions, and she handled everything with calm confidence, grace, and respect. What stood out most was Lara and Kassidy’s understanding of Indian culture and traditions, along with their openness and willingness to learn more where needed. They were thoughtful, considerate, and incredibly kind throughout the entire process – to us and to our families. They helped navigate differing perspectives seamlessly, always making sure everyone felt heard while keeping the vision intact. On the wedding weekend itself, everything ran beautifully and effortlessly. We were able to truly enjoy the celebration knowing we were in such capable hands. Our parents are still talking about how beautiful and well-executed the event was, which says everything. Our wedding went perfectly, and that is entirely thanks to Lara, Kassidy, and the Laki team. coordination, and setup and takedown. Taylor, our lead planner, was so responsive, helpful, and detail-oriented in the months leading up to the big day; we felt completely in good hands as she took care of every little detail and answered our many, many questions. She and Kassidy and Caitlin were the dream team on the day of. We had a Polaroid guest book, and as my parents and I were waiting at the end of the processional to walk down the aisle, Kassidy took a photo of us - moments like that really show their care for their couples! We are so thankful for Laki and would highly recommend their services!

ility to make sure everything went seamless the day of the wedding were invaluable. She went above and beyond to make our planning process easier - from putting finishing touches on our decor to returning our rentals. Plus, she made the entire experience more fun and was a joy to work with!

othly. Leading up to the wedding day, Taylor had absolutely everything organized and professionally done. The week of our wedding was just about mindless because we had full faith that she had everything under control. Our wedding day was so stress-free and easy because of them. Our entire bridal party commented on how hard they were working the whole day, but at the same time, they were constantly present and excited for us. I would recommend this team to everyone.

hat I didn’t even know I had! This day was a dream come true and I couldn’t be more thankful for the Laki team.

ul, however this team made it so easy on our end! Evin was our planner and she was incredible from the start - she understood what our vision was and made it come to life. She was always so responsive when we had any questions and always had great recommendations, really made us feel comfortable from the very start. We also used Laki Floral for our day and Lara made our floral dreams come true! Everything was so beautiful and the flowers and design she created was a vision. We were in awe of seeing it all come to life. BEST team!!

wildest dreams. Jaclyn was our main planner and she is so creative, talented, caring, kind, just an all around amazing person. Taylor, Lara, everyone we came in contact from their team is top notch. We also used Laki for floral. Lara creates the most beautiful floral designs and went the extra mile to ensure it was exactly what we were hoping for.

how I wanted it to. Unrelated pro tip: let your wife do all of the wedding planning. In all seriousness I would not hesitate to trust them with your special day. They are professional, responsive, and very kind and patient. I became very worried when I saw Taylor wearing an OSU hat (typically that is indicative of a lower than average IQ)... but she is a winner, unlike their football team and every other OSU alum I have ever interacted with. I like Taylor almost as much as I hate OSU. Go Blue.

(our Venue) and we quickly realized that their organization, candor, and attention to detail was unmatchable. Taylor provided a clear timeline, set of expectations, and vision for our big day. She was able to provide recommendations and suggestions that helped form the overall design and execution of our wedding. From our first call, all the way through to the day of the wedding, she and Lara made this is stress-free and seamless experience. Wedding planning doesn't need to be stressful, and everyone needs a Taylor/Lara. If you are looking for a team that knows ALL things weddings ranging from small to large, Laki is your dream team. Thank you Laki for making our day special and beautiful!

she made the whole process of planning the wedding so much easier. On the wedding day Taylor made sure everything ran smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything. It was the best!!

our day unforgettable. Taylor and Evin were our lead planners and they helped us stay on track and took care of every little detail. When it came to the big day they made sure everything went smoothly despite rain and pivoted to make it magical. Lara and the floral team put together the most beautiful designs that were breathtaking. There’s no better wedding team out there.

special and their ability to tailor our wedding to our desires was so impressive. They are experts in what they do and even when the planning was finished they carried through that expertise and professionalism to our wedding day, which was flawless and stress free. We always felt taken care of and knew we were in such great hands. Their site and vendor relationships run very deep, which was so helpful as we were having an out of state wedding. The floral service with Lara was seamless and she was able to fulfill our design while also keeping within our budget. We couldn't imagine working with anyone else for our wedding and we will forever be thankful for Laki!

figure out how to make our wedding day exactly what we wanted! I would also recommend their floral services, we were able to get gorgeous florals within our budget.

feel so special!

day of craziness. Hand up, I was one of the (dumb) grooms who thought we could plan and execute our own wedding and was so, so happy to have had her help. Do yourself a favor, hire Laki! Our wedding turned out better than we could have imagined and it would not have been possible without the Laki team. Jaclyn made the whole wedding planning experience a joy, from her attention to detail to making sure it all ran smoothly. The best choice we made was hiring Laki as our planner!

with.

worked with our budget to use wedding party bouquets for head table decor, rented stunning vases, and decorated a dessert cart. Our guests continue to comment on the attention to detail and beautiful floral arrangements. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the wedding planner's services and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. mention the arrangements were beautiful! She not only nailed my vision, she far exceeded it. I cannot thank her and her team enough for everything!

s, and I can see why - she's absolutely fantastic. Evin and the Laki team helped us every step of the way, from planning to designing to day-of execution. Evin was always there to keep us on track and relieve our stress. We felt confident in her ability to execute our vision and make our day perfect - and she did just that. We had so many guests tell us it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to, and we know that couldn't have happened without Evin and the Laki team. In addition to planning, we also used Laki for our floral decorations and it was amazing. Lara's attention to detail and ability to create beautiful arrangements is truly impressive. She took our vision and turned it into something beyond our expectations. Overall, we're thrilled with the experience we had with Evin, Lara, and the Laki team. They're true professionals and we couldn't have asked for a better team to help us create our dream wedding. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch wedding planner and design team. Thank you!

d with Jackie. We got the partial planning package but the team went above and beyond with communication, suggestions, planning advice, and questions we had not even thought about. We also had floral from Laki and it was SO helpful to have everything under one roof. They even offered to store our items prior to the day and helped make sure our day-of went of without a single hitch.

thousand miles away from your destination. I started looking into wedding planners and came across laki events and design. I cannot say enough great things about this company. Jacklyn was my contact and made everything so easy on us. She was very responsive to all our questions and never went a day without answering even our most trivial questions. Once we booked our vendors, we gave her the information and she handled absolutely everything from there. She set up our timeline from start to finish of the day. She and her team made my wedding day so enjoyable and took on all responsibilities of communicating with vendors, setting EVERYTHING up, and taking everything down and placing it in our room at the end of the night. I didn’t have a single worry the day of the wedding.

. I made one more appointment and met with Evin. From our first zoom, I knew immediately that Evin was someone I wanted to work with on our wedding. We had a pretty quick engagement (August to February), but Evin was absolutely incredible to work with. Even though we only chose the 90 day package, she made herself available to answer any questions that I had throughout the whole planning process and even came to a tasting that was not part of the agreed upon services. Evin anticipated our needs and provided ideas and suggestions of things that we hadn't even thought of. I always looked forward to my calls with Evin because she was a true partner in the planning process and made it fun & stress free. Later on the planning process, Taylor was brought in as well and I can't thank both of them enough for all of the hard work & organization that they provided to make our wedding completely stress free. When hiring a planner, my goal was that in doing so, my husband and our families and bridal party would truly be able to enjoy the day. Evin & Taylor accomplished that ten fold. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes that a planner is in charge of and they made it seem truly effortless. If you're on the fence about hiring a planner, or considering Laki, I cannot recommend them enough!

ouple and what exactly we were looking for in our wedding. We felt like it was so easy to work with her - she knew exactly what we were hoping for, exactly what we were envisioning. It can be difficult to fully explain your vision for such an important day, but Evin was able to interpret the emotion, vibe, and energy that we wanted and make excellent suggestions for us. Her advice was always something like: "Here's what I think you're looking for, and this is how I think we can accomplish it." For example, we were unsure of whether we should do a sweetheart table or sit with our whole wedding party for the reception. Evin, taking into consideration the size of the event, the level of formality we desired, and the layout of the venue, advised us that a sweetheart table would be the better option for us, so that we could better interact with all our guests, and provide a better level of visual symmetry in the space. This turned out to be a great call - having our sweetheart table in the center of the space created a great flow throughout the evening, as our guests could come up to us and we could easily make our rounds. This is just one example of MANY. Evin was also able to refer us to other vendors that were a great fit for us based on our personalities and values! Furthermore, Evin was there to support us emotionally as well. We found out very late in the planning that my father-in-law would not be able to come due to serious health concerns, which was of course devastating to us. Evin heard us, empathized with our pain, and was able to guide us back to a place of excitement and joy, reminding us of our strengths as a couple and refocusing us on the true purpose of our wedding. I don't know if this is just part of the job for a wedding planner, and quite frankly, I don't care - I am just extremely grateful that we had Evin in our corner, and I could not imagine doing this with anyone else. In the months after our wedding, all we've been able to talk about was how perfect the day was, how much fun we had, and how it was exactly what we'd hoped and prayed for. Evin was an integral part of what made our wedding so incredible. Lest I forget, we also used Laki Events for our florals. Once again, we were blown away by their intuitiveness and ability to translate our vague ideas and emotions into a physical reality. They were able to capture the formal, sublime winter aesthetic perfectly, with deep greens, brilliant whites and soft blushes to create an austere, pristine environment inside the banquet hall. It was exactly what we had envisioned, and we couldn't have been happier. Quite simply, we were exuberant. Evin, and everyone at Laki Events + Design, will always hold a special place in our hearts and we are so grateful to them. You will not be disappointed!!

r and it was so worth it! Evin was so on top of it and answered all my questions and guided me through the whole process. She had a vendor for everything! She was so wonderful the day of my whole family and my new husband fell in love with her. I also booked my florals with Laki Events. They were really able to help me stretch my budget and bring my vision to life! Everyone was so impressed. I will think about those flowers forever. My bouquet and my bridesmaids were so stunning and it exactly what I was looking for. Let it be noted that my new husband helped write this review because he was so thankful to the Laki Team! I recommend Laki to all my newly engaged friends!

stressed and wasn't sure whether I wanted to give up control. But when I offloaded the work to Evin, I felt like a boulder was lifted. Evin immediately took the reins and made sure the month-of process was seamless and worry-free. Not only did she bring her wedding knowledge and experience, she was also easy to talk to, flexible, and accommodating. She's also very detailed and reliable - one example of this is I didn't even notice I ordered the wrong chairs for the ceremony, but she corrected this right away. Even the smallest mishaps (that are bound to happen in any large event!), like the shuttle missing a stop or my veil falling off pre-ceremony, Evin was so on top of it that I felt completely at ease knowing she was there. Finally, I really appreciate their eye for design. I had a backyard wedding, and to save on costs, I had real flowers, fake flowers, garlands, and a bunch of randomly sized candles. Both Evin and Gabi decorated the whole event. It was so beautiful - it really blew my expectations out of the water. I got so many compliments from the guests. I highly recommend hiring Laki and would do it again if I could.

go above and beyond for you to make your wedding day perfect! We worked with Laki for both planning and florals and their work is unparalleled. Every detail was executed flawlessly and the day-of coordination could not have gone smoother. I had no stress on my wedding day because I knew the Laki team had it all covered - and they absolutely did! If you are considering hiring Laki Events, do yourself a big favor and book them! You will be so happy you did.

color scheme as well as the florals. Everything from the flower crowns for the flower girls to the boutonnieres and of course, my bouquet and the arbor were simply perfect. We wanted the florals to shine and shine they did. Thank you, Lara!

a & Evin, and from the start they not only made us feel like family, but were extremely helpful in asking all of the right questions to help pull the ideas out from our heads and get them on paper. Throughout the entire time we worked with Laki, they were extremely responsive, knowledgeable (both about rentals as well as other various wedding related situations & best practices) and actionable. The moment we needed a new quote, or something adjustment, they'd reach out to the vendor asap to coordinate. They brought our vision to life, and were so loving throughout the entire process. The day of our ceremony, they handed EVERYTHING. We didn't even have to think! They were on it, and it allowed us to just enjoy the day. Again, we cannot say enough great things about Laki, but know that by working with them, you'll truly have the best day of your life!

potential wedding planners before we came across Laki and it was clear from our very first Zoom call with Lara that they were best possible option. Lara and Brooke were an absolute pleasure to work with every step of the way - they are professional, detail oriented and creative - everything you could want in an event planner. They thought of absolutely everything, they solved problems before they happened and anticipated my every need as the bride. On top of everything else Brook and Lara are two of the kindest, most genuine women - they are so sweet and so fun to be around! Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and so much of that was thanks to Lara and Brooke. If you are a bride-to-be planning a wedding (or any event, for that matter) you MUST call Laki Events and Design - they are simply the BEST.

we ended up having LAKI Events as our planners. From the first stages of planning to the day of Evin and Lara were instrumental in making it a smooth and amazing day. They created a perfect and smooth day where we did not have to worry about anything other than smiling for the photos! We are incredibly grateful for all of their assistance and the work they did behind the scenes to allow us to spend more time with our loved ones during the day. Their ability to accommodate our special requests/needs due to this being a wedding planned from a significant distance was truly impressive. Always appreciate their prompt and professional responses to any inquiry we had.
