Lakota's Farm Weddings & Events

OMG fantastic. I have attended a wedding as a guest a year ago which was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The venue was beautiful, and the views were just gorgeous. I then saw that they were hosting a Farm to Table Dinner this past Friday, which we attended, and again the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food, service and venue were just fantastic.

We couldn’t be happier that we had our wedding at Lakota’s Farm, and that we had the honor to work with Kimberly. You know how there’s always a horror story of something that goes wrong at a wedding? We don’t have one of those — not a single one. Everything was 100% perfect, in large part due to the amazing team at Lakota’s Farm. Kimberly is one of the sharpest, most on it people I’ve ever met. She’s a spitfire, a firecracker, however you want to call it — bursting with positive energy that’s focused directly on the couple, making sure everything is ironed out and turns out perfectly. She accommodated every request and whim, answered every question, and offered fantastic suggestions and advice when we needed it. She met with us in person prior to the day of multiple times, and even over video chat a few times since we are out of towners. On the day of the Lakota staff helped us every step of the way. Casey, Kelli, and Audra were fantastic, and made me feel like the most special bride there ever was. If there were any hiccups or problems, I didn’t know about them — the staff handled it all. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the beauty of the venue itself. Every guest raved — and for good reason. The location of the gorgeous barns in the rolling hills is awe inspiring. I was lucky enough to steal away for a few minutes to myself to gaze around at the scenery. I couldn’t believe how lucky we were to celebrate our wedding in such a picturesque setting. One of the most special parts of our day was when Kimberly teamed up with Tracey Buyce, her good friend and our photographer, to surprise me and my husband with FIVE(!!!) CORGIS to play with us during our first look photo session. We were so touched by the gesture, since it was our secret dream to have a corgi at the wedding. Beyond all of the execution, which was — dare I repeat myself — PERFECT, we honestly loved getting to know Kimberly as a person. We feel that we have a friend forever in her, and we were so sad to leave her and her beautiful barn after the reception was over. We hope to return to Lakota’s Farm in the future, whether for another event, or just to say hi to Kim and her gorgeous rescue dogs. Kimberly is pure talent. Don’t bother trying to catch up with her, because she’s always going to be seven steps ahead of you. Just sit back, relax, and let her make your wedding day as perfect as she made ours.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Wedding Barn at Lakota's Farm or the owner, Kimberly Finney. My husband and I got married there last month and it was straight out of a fairytale. When we first started looking at venues last year, the beauty of this space took our breath away and even though it was just the second venue we looked at, we booked it on the spot. The farm is stunning and full of gorgeous, picturesque spots. We had our ceremony out in the pasture and reception in the barn itself--which is full of everything you could think of for your wedding. Complete with spacious getting ready rooms for your bridesmaids and a decked out man cave for the groomsmen, an amazing bar and cocktail area, and the most beautiful reception space I have ever seen, this venue is literally perfect. It meant a lot to us to have a venue that felt intimate and our own, and Kimberly and her team do a wonderful job of making your event exactly what you imagined. And I have to mention the absolutely stunning horses! If you are looking for a person who will cater your wedding to your every need at a venue that is full of amazing indoor and outdoor space, look no further than Kimberly and the Wedding Barn at Lakota's Farm!

We could not love and recommend Lakota's Farm more!! My husband and I got married at the Wedding Barn in May this past spring, and it was an absolutely stunning day and experience. First, Kimberly is the absolute BEST. She is filled with so much passion, positivity, and energy for what she does, not to mention incredible expertise and knowledge to help you plan the perfect wedding event for you and your partner! We were planning our wedding from afar, and Kimberly helped us iron out so many details, gave tons of recommendations for vendors, and helped us handle last minute issues with so much ease. I don't know how we could have done it without her! Next, this venue is absolutely stunning, an unbelievable combination of rustic beauty and high end accommodations. The grounds are gorgeous, filled with so many wonderful nooks for guests to visit, take pictures, and plan special events throughout the day. My husband and I grew up with horses, and the authenticity of this barn was what immediately grabbed us. Yet, Kimberly hasn't left one stone unturned and has created a space that provides accommodations that make you feel like you're in an upscale downtown venue, while standing in the beauty of an outdoor farm and gorgeous wooden barn. Our family and friends have been talking about our wedding and how much they loved the barn all summer!! You will not be disappointed if you book your wedding here. Kimberly makes you feel like family from the moment you start working with her, and we are so grateful we could start the next chapter of our lives in this amazing place.

Was lucky enough to be apart of a photoshoot done at Lakota. The scenery is breathtaking, the barn is simply amazing, I was in awe with the salon/bridal part of the barn. Absolutely love Kimberly and her energy, she makes you feel right at home when visiting.
