I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team than Salon Lalo. From start to finish, they were kind, caring, professional, and just absolutely supremely talented at their craft.
All of my bridesmaids could not stop raving about how Lalo gave us the best wedding party HMU anyone has ever had (and a lot of us have been in a LOT of weddings) and, as the bride, I felt pampered, cared for, and truly special every time I interacted with the Lalo team.
They brought the fantastic vibes to my wedding day, even at 7 am (and they were so prompt and arrived on time!). They made my mom -- who had never gotten professional HMU done before -- feel calm and excited, and most importantly beautiful. Everyone's makeup still looked perfect after hours on the dance floor, which is everything a bride could have asked for!
I don't live in St. Louis, but if I did, I would trust Lalo with my hair every time I needed a haircut. I'm so grateful I made the choice to hire them for my wedding and would absolutely recommend every other STL bride use their services as well.

I also never wear thick layers of make up and wanted a very natural approach and they were also able to create my vision flawlessly. We even added some eyelash clusters and I’ve never felt prettier! efore we were done. My wife had some issues with the eyelash extensions because she's never worn them before. They were making her tear up. Cece made sure we had a solution for the wedding day to prevent that from happening which was greatly appreciated!
On the day of our wedding, Cece & Becca did myself, my wife, our mothers, and 5 Bridesmaids. They were punctual, efficient, and made hours of getting ready so much fun!! One of our mothers isn't the friendliest, and was very picky about her makeup. Becca was SO patient and kind to her, even though she didn't receive the same respect. I was so embarrassed, and apologized profusely, and she completely brushed it off and told us not to worry, that it was our special day and she could handle it.
HIGHLY recommend Cece and Becca for your wedding makeup needs - they are the BEST!

, timing was impeccable and everyone looked beautiful as expected! What made Lalo stand out was the fact that they held my date and allowed me to come in for a trial BEFORE committing + signing contracts. Every other salon I reached out to expected me to commit and pay a deposit without knowing if I liked their service. I have curly hair and was determined to leave it natural, so I was nervous (curly girls get it)! Lindsay did a fantastic job on my hair & Lyssa a fantastic job on my makeup. Just overall 10/10!

fy with a ton of make up on, but the lalo ladies made everyone's makeup look so natural! Everyone picked out their own hairstyles and everyone LOVED them. Also my MIL was beyond picky with hair and makeup. The Ladies were so patient with her and nailed her hair and make up. Also they were just such good vibes to have around on the wedding morning. They were so fun to talk to and we just loved them so much. They also were so quick. We had 12 hair and 13 makeup and we started at like 6:45 and got done by 10:45! Like they are so great. Also I had kinda changed my mind about how I wanted my hair for the wedding, from what we trialed and Chloe was so accommodating. She also KILLED my hair, everyone kept complimenting it. Lyssa also let me change up some colors on my makeup and she just rolled with it, never did i feel like a pain. They just wanted me to feel amazing. I cant say enough amazing things about Lalo,I will recommend to anyone and everyone.

.m. and opened the salon on a Sunday when they are usually closed! They scheduled ample time to make sure there was an opportunity to adjust if an issue came up.
Beyond being incredibly flexible and accommodating, the team did such a fantastic job on our hair and makeup. The team, especially Chloe and Lyssa, spent lots of time listening to requests and would take time as they were styling everyone to make sure the group was happy with the way their hair and makeup was turning out. As the bride, I received many compliments on the Lalo team's work - including a few people asking where we went so they could reach out to the Lalo team for their own wedding! And I loved the team's work so much I made an appointment to have my hair cut there after the wedding.
I highly recommend using the team at Lalo for your hair and makeup needs for your wedding (and beyond!)
