Booking Rita was 1000% the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding process. While she’s based in Bloomfield, she also works with Monmouth County couples as she lives in ...
Monmouth County. We first heard of Lamar Wedding Center when our friends had used them for their DJ, officiant, and photography services for their wedding. We remembered that the DJ was great, our friends were happy with their officiant, and they loved their pictures. It was such a relief to book about 90% of all our big vendors in one place. The rates for all the services were very affordable and we only had to focus on just paying everything through Rita.
Rita was fantastic and was able to incorporate our wishes of adding cord, veil, and reading our own vows on top of Rita's for the ceremony. We got many compliments from our guests about our ceremony. Even after the wedding, Rita has been great with communication. Highly recommend Rita for not only as an officiant but for all the other services that Lamar Wedding Center offers.
Rita is definitely someone you should discuss your wedding plans with. She is very accommodating. Offers suggestions, very professional and punctual.
Rita and her crew at Lamar were absolutely amazing! They took the time before, during, and after the ceremony to make it a truly magical day. 10000/10 they don’t disappoint
Wonderful! Came here for an officiant. I needed an officiant that spoke both English and Spanish. Roger is who officiated the wedding and it was everything i expected!!

ere getting married in New Jersey (my home state! : ) ). Working with Dana and the entire staff at Lamar made that kind of interstate planning totally stress-free. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and professional, patient and reliable. They know their stuff and they know how to make a couple feel at ease while overseeing details from about 200 miles away! They gave great advice and quickly followed through on every detail. And they did it all with grace and good humor! Beyond the pleasant working relationship with the planners, the photographer they sent us and the florist they recommended were exceptional . Our photos turned out just beautifully and the album he put together was perfect! Plus, it was so very fun to work with the photographer. Our flowers were absolutely lovely, too! The price was extremely competitive and fair; the service was exceptional and we very highly recommend Lamar Wedding Center to any couple planning their big day. Thank you so much!

sense of humor. We worked with her during the planning process and would touch base to review the ceremony details here and there. She went out of her way to get to know us to make our ceremony meaningful and personal. On our wedding day, she was phenomenal! She had our guests laughing with her sense of humor (which broke the ice for us since we read our own vows). We still receive compliments to this day about how great she was! People thought she knew us for years because of how special she made us feel. We also went through Lamar Wedding Center for our Rolls Royce and the transportation services were great. On time, reliable, affordable and safe!

elements that were put into it! Rita was accommodating and incorporated our rosary & coins into the ceremony and even had our 2 daughters/flower girls join us for a special moment during the ceremony! The little video clips our guests have sent me I watch over and over and everytime it takes my breath away! I wish we could have gotten a personal photo with her. No amount of charge or tip could express how much she is worth to us... from our first meeting up until after the ceremony... Rita is just Amazing... Priceless... I am so happy she was the one to perform our ceremony! Thank you for making our wedding experience such a seamless, memorable & awesome one!!!
We just got married and used Rita Lamar. She had everyone laughing and we absolutely loved her. My husband and I will recommend her over and over again... Great Job Lamar!!

top shop with great prices as well that they can customize for you. She will get you connected with a professional Limo Driver, fantastic photographer, florists, dance studio, harp player (yes!) and pretty much anything and everything you need for your perfect day. Our wedding day photos were ready within ten days, exactly as we had expected. I have referred Rita and her team to another couple I know that is getting married next year, and I know they will be in great hands :)
