I am SO happy I stumbled upon the Lanam club as a venue! We were married there a few weeks ago and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Joanna is amazing to work with and all the staff was wonderful and super accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and the building is gorgeous with all the wood work. The tent, where we had dinner, is draped with material and lights, making it something out of a fairytale. The food by Chef Rick was delicious!! All our guests commented on how great the wedding (especially the venue and food).

We got married at the Lanam Club in October 2019 and had a wonderful experience throughout the planning process and the day of. One of the best parts about Lanam is that you are the only event that day and have access to the whole club for the day. They were very flexible about allowing us to bring in whatever decorations we wanted. We got ready in their very cool upstairs space, had our ceremony outside (110 guests), dinner was in the tent, and then reception inside. The food was excellent and many of our guests commented on how unique and beautiful the space was. We worked with Lindsey and Geoff, who were both very attentive, detail-oriented, and helpful. I would highly recommend this beautiful venue.

The Lanam Club is a beautiful old home, with gorgeous wood paneling and embossed ceilings that hardly need to be decorated, and the white wedding tent for larger dinners is very personalizable if you want, but is quite nice without a lot of work too! Of all the reception venues we looked at, they were pricey but I'd say it's worth it. You don't really have to rent much of anything, they do the catering in-house (because they have a restaurant for club members), there is a lovely garden space for an outdoor ceremony...they've really got it all. If old world charm is what you're looking for, give it a try. They even had an onsite coordinator the day of (whom we had been corresponding with all along) that really handled a lot of things, timing the appetizers, dinner, etc. We were really happy!

If we could give more than 5 stars for Flexibility, there would be infinite. My husband and I had our eye on the Lanam Club since before we were engaged. Once engaged, we knew that was our venue. Geoff worked with us every step of the way to help us plan our vision for the day, including set-up, food, coordinating other vendors and much more. He was always very responsive and thorough whenever we had questions. Geoff is also very knowledgeable on which vendors would be the best fit for the venue. He helped us select a DJ who had the dance floor packed all night. Two weeks before our wedding, the gas explosions affected The Lanam Club, causing them to lose the ability to create hot water or cook. Without missing a beat, Geoff and his Team started making every possible modification and accommodation in order to make sure we could still have our wedding. Unless you'd seen the news, you'd never know there was ever an issue. On the day of our wedding, Geoff was calm and collected, helping us maintain our respective states of calm. The entire evening went off without a hitch- everything was well-timed. All of our guests absolutely raved about the food- and that was a 'modified' aspect of our day. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful building, great food and atmosphere, and amazing customer service.

Our wedding was everything we could imagine at the Lanam Club thanks to Geoff and his team. We had 68 guests and had the ceremony on the back patio and the cocktail hour and dinner inside. Geoff worked with our budget for food and drinks and laid out every option with us. Communication was great throughout the planning process and the day of the wedding couldn't have been smoother thanks to their efforts.

The Lanam Club is an absolutely stunning reception venue and was perfect for our wedding of 100+ guests! We received so many compliments for the space and for the food! Geoff and his team were so accommodating. Being that our ceremony was less than a mile away, we used their third floor beforehand and the bridal suite was large and so useful and even photographed well. Best part though was the pool table and lounge for the guys down the hall! Everything went so smoothly that day from cocktail hour to the last dance. The food seemed endless and was so tasty. Thank you so much Geoff!

The Lanam Club was amazing! Geoff and Chef Joe and all the Lanam staff were extremely accommodating and helpful when I was planning my wedding. My husband and I are vegan so we were looking to have an all vegan menu. Chef Joe and Geoff were ready and willing to take on the challenge of figuring out a totally different menu and trying out some new ingredients. They actively worked with us to come up with food ideas that would please even the carnivores and I have to say they delivered. We got SO many compliments on the food and the beauty of the venue! Lanam is truly a local treasure and such a unique and special location for a wedding. Geoff was attentive and always quick to respond to my emails about various questions and brainstorms. The bridal suite is a picturesque location to get ready for your big day. The price was very reasonable and the staff here is very down to earth. I grew up and met my Husband in Andover so it was a huge plus for us to find such a gem in our hometown! 10/10 for Lanam, I would recommend them to anyone.

We loved the Lanam Club! They made all of our planning easy and smooth. The venue was the perfect combination of a beautiful historic home with lovely outdoor space. Geoff and Amanda were accommodating to all of our requests and really made the planning stress free. The food and service were spectacular. The pricing for such a beautiful venue was surprisingly within our budget. The Lanam Club was the perfect space for a wedding that fit the look and feel we were going for-elegant, intimate, romantic, summery and totally 'us.' We highly recommend the Lanam Club.

The best experience! The Lanam Club is the quintessential old New England charm venue. It's exquisite and I am beyond thankful my husband and I hosted our intimate wedding here! Geoff and the staff at Lanam made our day unforgettable with their attention to detail, quality of service and high quality food. If you're looking to host your wedding or any event, I highly recommend the Lanam. The venue and staff can't be matched!

"I found the Lanam club through Wedding Wire and was so surprised by this hidden gem. I live a few towns away from Andover and never knew it existed. My now husband and I went to check out the venue around the holidays and fell in love with the warm and inviting atmosphere. I initially wanted a modern wedding venue but when I walked into the Lanam Club that all changed! There is so much to love about this wedding venue from the ornate woodwork, fireplaces, beautifully draped tent, quaint garden ceremony area and the fact that you have the whole venue to yourself for the entire day Timothy Hart and now Geoff Piva are fabulous event coordinators. The venue is super flexible and accommodating and I never felt like I was waiting around for responses. We got married in October and they easily accommodated my Shipyard request with a caramel brown sugar rim. They happily allowed my 100 candy apples to be sent directly to the venue which took a great burden off waiting around for the shipment. When looking for a wedding venue my main priorities were the food and atmosphere and the Lanam nailed both to a tee! I had so many people compliment the food and h’orderves. We selected the chicken and filet and both were fabulous at the tasting and the night of the wedding. The mini grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup shooters were also a crowd favorite. The service at dinner ran so smoothly and the time in-between meals was spot on! If you are looking for a unique wedding venue that is beautiful, cost effective and flexible I highly recommend The Lanam Club. "

Ever since I was younger I had my heart set on getting married at the Lanam club, I grew up in Andover and used to sing here as a child. We were on a tight budget and I didn't think we could afford it so we checked out many other locations around Andover. However after sitting down and making spreadsheets, the cost of the Lanam club was not that far off of other much less sophisticated venues. It was worth every penny! I cant really describe how perfectly everything went. The gardens provided the perfect romantic atmosphere in which to get married. Tim Hart (the manager) was on top of everything, and there was no request he could not fulfill. He made me feel so relaxed and welcome that I was really able to enjoy the evening. The food was phenomenal! and the service staff were amazing: quick, courteous, and friendly. I very highly recommend the Lanam club to future brides.

Tim and the Lanam staff were more than I could have hoped for in a reception venue. My brother and his wife also had their reception at Lanam, and were also impressed. From the start, Tim was open to all our silly ideas - we even hung some custom artwork on the walls! The Club was the perfect fit for our antique-style wedding - dark wood and fireplaces, and the most beautiful bar. We had access to the venue the entire day, and when we arrived earlier than we had planned, Tim made sure we were comfortable and outfitted with champagne. When we told Tim we were bringing flowers from the ceremony, he promised to fit them in wherever they could. When the dance floor got too warm, Tim turned off the fireplaces. When a guest at the last minute told me she was vegan, Tim promised they would make her a special entree. Dinner was provided for our photographer and DJ, and our guests were allowed to leave their cars overnight. Thank you, Lanam!

We hosted our wedding reception at the Lanam Club. I can't say enough about how great the service was and the food was delicious! Guests commented afterwards about the great food and the wonderful setting. One third of our wedding guests were under the age of 12 and so the outdoor areas and gardens of the club were just perfect. We setup lawn games, and the club was so hospitable even when one child got their beanie baby stuck up in the outdoor ceiling fan. We are forever grateful to the Lanam Club and staff for a wonderful family experience to remember for all time!

We were absolutely thrilled with the job the Lanam Club and Tim, the manager did for our wedding. We highly recommend this unique spot to anyone. The grouds were beautiful, food and service were perfect.

The Lanam Club fulfilled my every wish in a wedding location. We searched all through the North and South Shore to find just the right place that had a romantic charm to it for a smaller (less than 200 people) wedding. The Lanam Club was just that - a mansion that is now a fine dining club, with a victorian garden for the ceremony and a great staff understanding that this is your special day. I didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding because I knew that Ron and his staff had everything under control. The guests not only complimented on the beauty of the location, but also on how smooth the day went. The food is great, which is almost a given considering that the purpose is a fine dining club. The day of the wedding is obviously a stressful day, but they managed to make sure I didn't have to worry about a thing. They even brought appetizers out while we were taking pictures, but since I was in all of the pictures, I wasn't able to eat, so Ron actually brought appetizers and a glass of wine up to the Bridal Suite, so I could rest for a moment and have a bite to eat. Then after dinner, we were too busy talking to our guests to eat, but Allison went out of her way to wrap up our food, as well as an extra steak dinner for us to take with us! So nice to be able to actually enjoy our wedding dinner the next day. Overall, the Lanam Club was able to exceed our expectations. We feel very lucky to have chosen them for our special day.
