About this vendor
L&L Weddings is a videography company based out of East Hartford, CT that documents weddings and other celebrations. Owner Jay Morales is an experienced cinematographer who strives to capture your romantic day with a cinematic and storytelling style. He hopes to deliver a film that will allow you to relive your momentous occasion for years to come.
Jay is a native of Hartford who got started in the videography business in 2013. A former member of the military, he found that being behind a camera helped him transition back to civilian life. He now creates and edits music videos, commercial content, and wedding films for clients throughout Connecticut.
Cinematography packages at L&L Weddings begin with a 30-minute pre-production consultation. During this meeting, Jay will get to know your needs, preferences, and vision for the big day. His services include coverage of the ceremony and reception, one shooter and camera set-up, and a three to five-minute highlight reel. Fully edited wedding films will be delivered digitally or by a USB thumb drive.

We booked L&L Wedding for videography and initially had a great experience. Communication was quick and consistent when we first signed the contract, which we did a year in advance...
to allow ample time for payment.
As our wedding date approached, communication became limited. We often had to reach out ourselves to confirm timelines and ensure everything was on track. We were especially excited about the pre-wedding interview that was discussed, but we did not hear back about it until we personally followed up.
On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. The team arrived on time, was organized, and captured the day well.
However, issues arose afterward. My husband and I did not receive the final product we originally signed up for and had to reference our contract to receive the wedding video we purchased. While Juan apologized, we couldn’t help but feel overlooked, especially as wedding season became busier.
As a goodwill gesture, Juan offered to send us a digital copy of the raw footage after returning from a trip. We agreed and appreciated the offer, but we never received the footage. Our last communication regarding this was in Fall 2025, and follow-up emails went unanswered.
Overall, the experience was okay, but it could have been significantly improved with more consistent and reliable communication.

sionalism, creativity, and dedication to his craft were evident, and it made our entire wedding experience even more special.
On the day of the wedding, Jay and his team seamlessly blended into the background, capturing all the precious moments without being intrusive. He worked seamlessly with our day-of wedding crew and it is evident that Jay has a keen eye for detail, as he captured not only the big moments but also the small, intimate ones that we will cherish forever.
The final video he delivered was nothing short of spectacular. The editing was flawless, and the music selection complemented the visuals perfectly. Jay managed to encapsulate the emotions, the laughter, the tears, and the joy of our day in a way that brought tears to our eyes every time we watched it. He truly has a gift for storytelling through his videography.
In the end, Jay's work exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful to have such a beautiful memento of our special day. If you're looking for a wedding videographer who is not only talented but also a joy to work with, Jay is the one! We can't recommend him highly enough.
