She asked questions that I would have never even thought to ask but really helped make us feel more prepared for the day of. From the get go she seemed to just get what we wanted the wedding to be and really helped to iron out the day of schedule to make sure the wedding ran smoothly. They were in contact with all of our other vendors prior to the day of and even showed up to the rehearsal to ensure everyone knew where to be. But where they truly shine is on the wedding day! I honestly couldn't even tell you one thing that went wrong or sideways that day because Melissa and Lorrie just handled it. Every time I needed to find one of them they just magically appeared-and they were everywhere, all day! Everything was set up and ran perfectly and was exactly how I pictured it. I have no idea how they do what they do but they are true experts and so friendly, calm, cool and collected-they amaze me! I cannot recommend them enough-we got to enjoy every moment of the wedding and know it was in large part thanks to them.

erent state than we planned to get married (with my husband living in a third state). I was hesitant to spend money on a wedding planner. But I thought I would at least talk with some to see what I thought anyway. Enter two wonderful women: Lorrie and Melissa. They were immediately kind, warm, welcoming, and obviously organized and knew what they were doing. They were interested in me and my husband, what we wanted, how we wanted it, and how they could help us get those things! When they told me their ultimate goal for a wedding is that the couple wouldn't know if something went wrong until AFTER the wedding, I was sold! Throughout the 15-month engagement, we met several times when we would visit Kentucky and Melissa made time for phone calls often to stay in touch and updated. Each time, Melissa would have a list of things we needed to follow-up on, things we needed to start thinking about, and some longer-term items to just "be aware of." This helped us immensely. She worked with us on a budget, never suggesting we spend more! She was able to provide suggested vendors, but never once pushed us to hire anyone specifically. The honesty and openness we received was such a sigh of relief for us because we feared that from other wedding planners with whom we met. There were MANY things that I would not have ever thought about (or would have considered after it was too late). She attended vendor meetings with us (or for us when we couldn't make it). She made a detailed schedule of the wedding weekend that had five-minute increments at some points (incredible to my Type A personality, but not scary to others because you know Lorrie and Melissa have it covered for you!). She did all the things we weren't looking forward to for our wedding planning so we could focus on the fun stuff. She answered the hundreds of questions I had throughout the planning. She was available at all hours by text, phone, and email! It was phenomenal! Finally, the wedding weekend arrived. And, just when I thought they couldn't get any better, Lorrie and Melissa helped us through the rehearsal step-by-step, stepping in when there were questions, discrepancies, or issues. The next morning (wedding day), Lorrie and Melissa were at the venue decorating, arranging, double-checking things, and setting up for our fabulous day! Melissa came to see us while we were getting ready to check in on me and how I was doing. She is the sweetest! Our wedding went off without a hitch (that I noticed). Lorrie and Melissa handled EVERYTHING. These women are sincerely true experts in their fields. They are wonderful at their job, but they are also seriously wonderful people. We feel so fortunate to have met Lorrie and Melissa and to have been able to work with them and get to know them as people. Working with Lorrie and Melissa was THE best decision we made in the wedding planning process! Meet with them and see for yourself! If nothing else, you will meet two of the sweetest ladies in Kentucky!

a priority. I had no idea what all went into planning a wedding but was confident that I was organized enough to do part of the work. I selected the partial planning package. They still attended any meetings or calls that I wanted them to, helped pick vendors, helped clarify proposals and even gave honest advice when asked. Lorrie handled an issue 3 days before my wedding when something I had ordered for the wedding was not what I asked for. She immediately took the stress off of my plate. They both helped calm my nerves the day of and were a great support for our wedding party and families. I can't say enough good things about them. They are now part of my family and I consider them friends.

ated an extremely detailed timeline for the day and provided it to all my vendors. During our consultations she had really great ideas about how to set up the venue and make everything flow smoothly. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her! On the day of, Melissa and Lorrie set up the venue SO beautifully I couldn't even believe it! I had vastly over-ordered my flowers, so they got really creative and made arrangements for the ceremony aisle and arbor. It looked FANTASTIC! When my guests started arriving an HOUR ahead of schedule, I started freaking out a little, but Melissa came up with a plan on the fly for my groom and I to take a few more first look pictures together while everyone went into the venue so they wouldn't see me before the ceremony. I felt so confident and carefree knowing Melissa and Lorrie were there for me and I can't thank them enough. They worked tirelessly the whole day to make sure everything went smoothly. By the end of the night all the cleanup was done and I was able to ride off into the sunset with my husband without a care in the world. Melissa and Lorrie are total superheroes. Hire them immediately!

They were always very responsive to my questions, and requests for every "in the weeds" detail I had. As the day got closer, they seamlessly became more involved, taking over the reigns when I was loosing steam. :) Assisting me with final venue and vendor meetings, finalizing the timeline, and managing last minute changes and requests from family members (which in and of itself deserves a medal!). On the day of I honestly could not have done it without them, they were so on top of it. I am not one who likes to give up my control of and in situations, but I knew I could fully trust Melissa and Lorrie to execute and handle every little detail and task that goes into pulling off this type of monumental and special event. I only wish someone would have grabbed my bouquet at the end of the night, haha! But in all seriousness, I enjoyed and appreciated their enthusiasm; they really made me feel like our wedding was top priority, and not just another one on their calendar. edding, knowing that planning a wedding in Kentucky from where I live in California would be nearly impossible. I'm SO happy I did. These ladies have hustled on my behalf from day one, and when some major hiccups occurred in the planning process, not only were they on top of communicating with me about them, they always had a suggested plan of action and clear guidance for what to do next. Their suggestions and recommendations were always in line with the overall vision we had discussed, and when I didn't like something or made a choice that differed from their recommendation, they pivoted flawlessly and without judgment. Month-of and day-of, I didn't worry about timing or logistics or details. Lorrie and Mel handled EVERYTHING for me, including planning contingencies as rain threatened the forecast and guest lists fluctuated. Our wedding went off beautifully, and it had everything to do with these two ladies busting their tails. Truly - I didn't do a thing on my wedding day. They did it all, and we've had so many friends and family in attendance tell us what a great wedding it was. The service they provide is incredible and they are a joy to work with, coordinating all of our vendors behind the scenes seamlessly, keeping track of the wedding party and keeping them in line, and letting us know where *we* needed to be at every step of the way during the wedding. You MUST hire them if you are in Kentucky!!

ut I also knew that if we didn’t put someone else in charge the day of the event then it would be me worrying about all the little event details. Lorrie and Melissa say they want you to feel like a guest at your own wedding, and that’s exactly how it was for us. Since our arrangement was for day-of coordination, we met with Melissa a few weeks before the big day to go over every tiny detail of the plan and hand off all the contracts. Melissa took care of almost all our vendor correspondence from that point forward. She came to our rehearsal and, together with our officiant, walked through everything to be sure everyone knew the plan. While our contract was for day-of coordination, Melissa and Lorrie also helped us out with some advice that we needed throughout the whole year of planning. They had vendor recommendations for us (including our DJ, who we also loved) and answered our questions about the marriage license process, etc. We had a Jewish wedding, so there were a lot of customs that varied from most other weddings, but Melissa and Lorrie dived right in and had no trouble following our and our rabbi’s instructions. And everything went perfectly!
