Landmark at the Creek

We wanted a woods wedding and a decent reception site so we picked the best in site: Landmark at the Creek Restaurant. The food is pretty good for a location out there. Cindi, the owner, was very helpful the whole way and was very open to me having "my way" in the items I wanted. She allowed a dj, personal set up and decorations. She allowed us to come in to decorate right at opening, even though our reception was not until 5 hours later. We had a BBQ buffet style dinner that was really tasty. The only complaint was service. We were promised our own waiter...but we did not get one. Our guests were not approached for drink orders; everyone ordered at the bar. Also no one came to clear our plates...my maid of honor did it! How embarrassing after everything else she did! For the area, this location was good. I would recommend it even after the problems we had. It was considerably less than a more upscale place down the road, Kohl's Ranch. For the location and the type of wedding we had, it worked and was good.
