e first violinist played out of tune a majority of the time, there were intonation and rhythm problems throughout, and it sounded like high schoolers who were sight reading music for the first time. I asked non-musicians who attended the wedding their thoughts and they said it was the worst wedding music they'd ever heard. It was hard not to cringe at the music while my loved ones were walking down the aisle. My sister was SO excited to hire this quartet and even paid double for then to travel to her wedding. Disappointed does not even begin to describe how we felt with their playing. I do not recommend unless you want them to ruin your moment on your wedding day.

Our families and friend groups are filled with professional musicians, and instead of hiring one or a few of them, we chose to hire outside of our circle so as not to offend anyone. I wish now we would have offended one or two as opposed to everyone who came to our wedding. There were multiple times where the quartet were so engrossed in their music stands that we could not get their attention to wrap it up. No looking for cues. Our officiant literally had to go and get their attention to stop vamping and play the processional songs for the wedding party! We paid double their fee to travel to our venue, and had we had the ceremony in their normal range, we still would have overpaid. We listened to their samples, watched the youtube videos and we were so excited. Imagine our disappointment when the only nice thing about them was their invitation to leave a negative review. We offered to let them go grab some dinner at our reception since we only booked them for the ceremony (thank heavens), and they courteously declined and hurried packing up to leave, but the moment we mentioned that we had a tip prepared for them, they were very eager and to quote one "we'll gladly stay for that!" Not everyone has their best day every time, however everyone needs to be willing to admit when they have utterly disappointed their clients. This group doesn't appear to have that humility to admit that they aren't perfect. I am ashamed for pushing to hire this group, and I hope my wife one day finds it in her heart to forgive me for their middle-school level performance.

line youll want to rethink your choice. For my wedding i arranged 2 pieces to be played for thr processional. The pieces from their list of repertoire were not played to the level i saw online in videos. As a musician Myself based on what I saw, and their reviews i trusted them with arrangements done by yours truly. I checked in with them about the timining, the playability of the music but it was all told we were golden. I did tell them to play the pieces in their entirety however during the ceremony it was so out of tune, not in time and underrehearsed i told thr officiant to tell them to stop. Because of my directions they didnt, but we wished they had. You see, i come from a family of musicians many of which trained professionally (i actually was in music school at the same time in the same program as the cellist, the only one who seemed to be solid in his preperation) Maybe my family is rude but all i heard about that night and the next day was how underrehearsed and how unprofessional the quartet sounded especially during the parts that mattered the most. When I brought up my dissappointment and the feedback i had, namely "if it couldnt be played well you should have let us know so we could chose better rehearsed music" i got the following response. Bel, I'm sorry you had that reaction. Luckily I was there and it was fine.We did skip the vamp. I'm not sure what you are talking about.There is no such thing as perfect intonation. However we were playing in tune and we payed attention to pacing. We did have time to practice the music you arranged. We liked it. You told us to play to the end of your processional but someone was signaling for us to stop....but we didn't because you had wanted all of it. Feel free to give us a bad review. We need a few to balance out all the great reviews we get. I am sorry that you weren't happy. It was a beautiful wedding and I stick by my assertion that we did fine and were a positive part of you wedding. The travel of 2 hours made us a little tired and possibly not as focused as we would have been but overall I felt good about the entire event. Thanks for noticing that Max was amazing. If you want them to play for you especially something not on your list DO NOT pay them until they give you a rehearsal recording. I was pretty mortified. Also if they admitted that the drive made them tired they shouldnt have accepted the gig or offer a partial redund since they mentioned it could have been a factor, i paid a 600 travel fee! We paid 1200 for their services and we were frankly embarassed. It was our big splurge and we wished we could have put the money towards almost anything else. She invited me to review instead of handling the matter privately so I have. She was prompt in all her responses, but her invitation to review was bold so we took her inviation. RUN!

simple and Debbie was very responsive to questions via email. They had a large list of songs we chose from for free on their website and plenty of examples of them playing weddings we could watch on YouTube. The musicians were on time, played beautifully, and were respectful of our guests. No complaints. One more bonus - they are very affordable considering the quality.

reasonably priced, and the quality of their musicians were fantastic. They arrived on time (actually early) so they could practice with my relative, who had a solo during the wedding service, and they were extremely professional with her. The also provided wonderful pre-service music as the guests arrived, and also were a wonderful addition to the cocktail hour as they played then after the wedding service was over. They were dressed perfectly for the occasion in the formal concert attire and were extremely accommodating throughout. We heard nothing but compliments from our guests who loved to hear the live music. I highly recommend using their services for any upcoming wedding or other event.

If there are songs you'd like them to play but are not listed on their website, you should reach out! We had several requests which ended up being in their backlog. Definitely one of my favorite parts of my wedding. :)

up to the wedding was great and I had no concerns going into the wedding. We chose specific music for the ceremony, the general category of modern music covers for the cocktail hour, and the general category of classical music for dinner. They absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful they were, and they especially loved the modern music covers. If you want something unique, I highly recommend the modern music covers. Multiple guests took videos of the group playing and days after the wedding we are still hearing about how everyone loved this quartet. Everyone thought the quartet was well worth the money and personally I thought they were very affordable for professional musicians. Having Landolfi Quartet was one of my favorite parts of our wedding and I would recommend them without reservations to any future bride.
