of state, so ease of planning was a major factor in our venue search. Langdon Farms was an incredible choice because they provide so many of the pieces you need for a wedding: catering, bar service, tables, linens, countless napkin color options, and a day-of coordinator. We had one planning call with Avery and handled most of our remaining details via email, which made planning from afar incredibly manageable. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather on our wedding day, which made our ceremony in The Orchard absolutely perfect. The Orchard offers the best of both worlds - you get the beautiful, manicured setting of the golf course while still having a very private and intimate ceremony location. On a clear day, you can even see Mt. Hood in the distance, which made the setting feel even more special. The reception space was equally wonderful. The food was fantastic, and we were impressed by the flexibility of the beverage packages. We loved being able to offer a full open bar during cocktail hour and then transition to hosted beer and wine during the reception, with liquor still available for guests to purchase if desired. It allowed us to create the experience we wanted while staying mindful of our budget. Avery was incredibly helpful as we finalized our floor plan and was always flexible and accommodating when we requested adjustments. Throughout the entire process, she made us feel supported and confident that everything would come together exactly as envisioned. Two pieces of constructive feedback. First, we paid for an additional bartender, but still heard from a few guests that bar lines became a bit long during certain portions of the evening. It wasn't an issue throughout the entire reception, but it's something worth discussing if you expect a larger crowd (160+). Second, we utilized the White House beginning at 9:00 AM for getting ready. The bridal suite setup on the second floor was fantastic, with multiple rooms and bathrooms that provided plenty of space for relaxing, getting ready, and accommodating hair and makeup services. However, the groom's getting-ready space on the main floor was a smaller conference room that felt a bit tight for a group of nine-plus people and became fairly warm throughout the afternoon. Overall, we truly could not have asked for a better venue or experience. Everything came together seamlessly on the wedding day, and we felt supported throughout the entire planning process. We would wholeheartedly recommend Langdon Farms to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding venue!
