Based out of Denver, CO, LAPOMPE is a band that merges rustic gypsy swing with classic blues for live performances at wedding celebrations. This string quartet includes vocals, two guitars, a violin, and an upright bass for a lively musical atmosphere. Whether playing their own original tunes or classic hits, these musicians are ready to entertain you and your wedding guests. The members of LAPOMPE have a shared love of gypsy jazz and each influences the band with their personal musical preferences. This band has performed in headlining spots at Speakeasy Soiree and City Park Jazz as well as festival appearances at Evergreen Jazz and Vail Jazz. With a recurring weekly gig at Denver’s Union Station and performances at numerous private events, these artists offer their experience and skill for your celebration. Whether tasteful ceremony ambience, laid-back cocktail hour sounds, or energetic reception tunes, LAPOMPE offers music for your wedding day. This band brings their own high-quality public address system and wireless microphones and offers assistance with sound and MC duties. Additionally, they can enlist the services of the troupe “Swingin’ Denver” to provide you with swing dance lessons or a full performance.

Hello, I am the band leader, singer, and guitar player for LAPOMPE. With LAPOMPE and a few other bands I performed 225 gigs in 2019 alone. I am passionate about music, but equally passionate about weddings and events. It's a gift and a privilege to perform during the most important day of someone's life. It's incredibly inspiring to perform first dances, and aisle music, and know that we had the opportunity to inspire and create memories.

La Pompe played for my wedding reception at Bigsby Folly Winery in June. They were very communicative and extremely professional. They provided a fresh take on some top hits while sticking to their jazz style music. Alicia was the vocalist for our event and we absolutely loved her! Our guests raved about their performance. 10/10 recommend.

Wow, La Pompe was incredible to work with and an absolute showstopper during our wedding. I can't tell you how many of our guests came up to us during and after the event to say how much they loved the band. I know that at least 5 of them already plan on going to La Pompe's next show in Denver. They were so professional and easy to work with, took care of things like getting set up at the venue so we didn't need to worry about it, were great at reading the room and playing songs to keep everyone dancing, and did an excellent job with any announcements we needed. Best of all, they learned our first dance song and did such a fantastic job on it that we almost just wanted to watch and listen rather than dance! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

LAPOMPE was an amazing band and we are so glad we booked them for our wedding. They played for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All the guests really enjoyed the music and we got multiple comments on how great the band was. David was very responsive and communicative for planning leading up to the wedding. LAPOMPE's music and vibe is truly special and they really made the night special. We highly recommend them if you are looking for a live band!

What an incredibly talented group of musicians! Our top priorities were great music and great food, and LAPOMPE certainly delivered. Everything went smoothly from our first communication to clean up. Lapompe was absolutely amazing! We had our reception in the mountains in Estes Park and Lapompe brought the perfect atmosphere to an already amazing environment. We specifically heard from almost all of our friends and family how much they loved the band. David was a pleasure to communicate with throughout the entire planning process. Finally, his rendition of our first dance song was magical. I will definitely hire them again for my second wedding ;)

Lapompe played at our wedding last October in Evergreen, CO and they absolutely ROCKED it. To start, booking with them was a seamless process. David was very communicative, accommodating, and responded to our questions and requests in a timely matter. Their repertoire was extensive and incredibly diverse! We put in a few special requests and the band went above and beyond to deliver day of. Logistics and day-of set up went off without a hitch and my guests kept raving about how impressed they were with the quality of the music. They are super talented, fun to listen to, and kept up the energy until the very last minute. My husband and I would highly recommend booking them for any future gigs! Our wedding definitely wouldn’t have been the same without them.

My husband and I are from Orlando, FL and have shared many amazing memories in Aspen, so naturally that is where we decided to get married . While I was showing our wedding venue to my soon-to-be brother-in-law, who lives in Denver, he told me us that if we could get LAPOMPE to play, that it would complete our wedding. Not knowing if they did weddings at the time, I decided to reach out to them in hopes that they'd agree to play. Surely enough, all worked out and they played at the wedding. David was great to work with and learned a few of our favorite songs. Besides the songs I requested, I trusted LAPOMPE to played many of the songs in their repertoire based on the vibes throughout the night - and they did just that. I recommend them a hundred times over for anyone who is looking for a truly unique and talented band. They were very professional, punctual, and responsive throughout the planning process. Thank you again LAPOMPE for the great memories!

First - We love gypsy jazz and the original music these guys play. The music really swings and is fun to dance to. I think everyone, no matter their age, enjoyed the music. Second - The guys are easy to work with, fun and accommodating. We highly recommend LaPompe and would consider having them play at other events. LaPompe was playing every Tuesday evening at the train station. The corona virus has probably put an end to that for the time being, but you should check them out if their weekly gig resumes after this is all over.

La Pompe was the perfect music for our rooftop dinner drinks and reception. We wanted music that was fun, lively and jazzy that people could dance to but also hear themselves talk to. It was absolutely perfect and they knocked it out of the park with our special music requests! Couldn’t recommend better music for a wedding! From the first inquiry, David and his team were so professional. Our correspondence was quick and seamless which is a saving grace in planning. With a little extra accommodation they travelled to a remote venue outside Telluride to curate our special day. This also went off without a hitch. The acoustic music for our ceremony outside was incredible. I felt like I was in a dream walking down the aisle to “La Vie En Rose” and I know the guests were blown away as well by their sound. We hired them for an acoustic happy hour which I understand was magnificent (we were taking pictures). In addition, the reception music was so fun and energetic yet timeless and classy. It was the perfect vibe for the old saloon where the reception was held, and for our taste. David was so kind to accommodate our special dance music and played a beautiful rendition of the song requested. I was sad for the music to end of course! All in all, really talented, gracious, kind, and professional musicians. I would 100% recommend booking with them.

These guys sounded fantastic! They have a really classy, gypsy-jazz sound. Raw, yet polished. And they looked the part, too. Can do pure instrumentals and sing great, as well. Our guests gave us great feedback saying that they loved them playing for our cocktail hour and during dinner at our outdoor wedding in at a small farm in Longmont. They were super professional to deal with prior to the booking. Check them out on Spotify and Youtube, I bet you'll dig them.

LaPompe was fantastic! They played at our ceremony and our cocktail hour and it was so beautiful thanks to them. They play a variety of music, but we personally love their originals. They are so good that when my mother in law first heard them, she cried. She never cries! LaPompe was a worthwhile investment for our special day. They played beautifully and were very professional. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to play beautiful music for their special day!
