I had a fantastic experience working with Lara Christine for my wedding hair and makeup in July 2022 at Dexter’s Inn! She was kind, communicative, easy to work with, and listened t...
o what I wanted. I told her that I wanted natural makeup so that I “looked like myself but fancy” and she did just that. I tweaked a few things from my trial and she listened to exactly what I wanted. She brought a second stylist to help with hair because I had 6 bridesmaids getting their hair done and everyone came out looking gorgeous! We also ended up ahead of schedule and had some time to relax. Would 100% recommend Lara!
Lara was absolutely amazing to work with! From the first email to our hair and makeup trial to the day of the wedding, Lara was extremely professional and organized and made everyt...
hing run smoothly. She and Cheryl took all of the stress out of getting ready and made sure we all looked fabulous. Highly recommend!
Lara and her team did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding. I did a lot of research trying to find a makeup artists who would give me a "natural" makeup look, and a hair artist ...
that could tame my curly hair. Lara was perfect! My fiance loved my look, and said I looked just like myself on the day.
All of the bridesmaids were extremely happy with how their hair and makeup came out, too. Lara and her team were great with both girls who had very specific ideas about what they wanted to look like, and girls who gave them no direction at all. They were able to get through hair and makeup for 6 bridesmaids, the mother of the groom, and myself in 5 hours with no issues.
Finally, Lara was extremely accomodating with my hair and makeup trial. I asked her last minute if she could squeeze me in the day of a wedding I was attending in July, because we were moving out of town and this was the last possible day that I could have the trial. She squeezed me in on her only day off in all of July, and made me look gorgeous for the wedding.
I could go on... but overall I was thoroughly impressed with Lara and her team's professionalism and work product. I would definitely recommend hiring her for your event!
I can't praise Lara and Cheryl enough. I got married this past weekend in NH and Lara and Cheryl did hair and makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids, 2 moms and a flower girl. Everyone...
looked STUNNING. They both listened to each of us as to what we wanted and really put time into each of our looks. I had a trial with Lara beforehand and she worked with me and truly listened to me and my vision for wedding day. Myself and my three bridesmaids have been in numerous weddings and we all said this was the best hair and makeup we've ever had! The makeup isn't cakey or heavy and hair was just beautiful. Lara was very easy to communicate with and they were both so much fun to work with! Highly recommend to any bride!
Lara and her team were great! I had a trial done a few weeks prior to my wedding and Lara did a great job bringing my hair and makeup vision to life. She was also able to give grea...
t suggestions based on my hair and skin type. On the wedding day Lara and her team arrived promptly and were ready to go! Each of my bridesmaids felt comfortable voicing their desired hair and makeup styles and the ladies delivered! I especially loved how natural our hair looked and it didn't look like there was a ton of hair spray caked on to keep it in place. Everyone's hair and makeup came out great and lasted all night long! Would highly recommend using Lara and her team!
Lara is simply the best! I have very fine, thick, straight hair that is tricky to work with and she made it look exactly how I had hoped, and even better than I had imagined. She i...
s also an incredible makeup artist. She matched my skin perfectly! I felt like an absolute princess when she was finished. I am quite a perfectionist, so I can tell you that Lara did a perfect job :) She also has the best vibe in the world - she made me feel so comfortable from the very first email. She is the type of person who immediately makes you feel like you've known each other for years.
Lara did my hair for my wedding in September 2019. She was so great to work with and listened as I described and showed what I liked during the hair trial. She was able to create a...
stunning up-do that went perfectly with my dress and incorporated my veil easily. More importantly, it lasted - all day! Even after hours of dancing, photos, and running around. I've had my hair professionally done a few times in the past and consistently have pain from bobby pins, but Lara was able to keep everything in place with no pain throughout the whole day. It ended up making a big difference for feeling confident and comfortable.
The wedding was early Sunday and I had concerns about being able to get my hair and the hair of my bridesmaids completed in time. Lara enlisted support from a co-stylist Cheryl and they both came on-site at 5am to get all our hair done (early!). Lara helped develop a day-of schedule to make sure we were on time and it relieved a lot of stress from the process.
I would highly recommend Lara for any event hair styling.
Lara was a good listener and made my wedding day hair style vision a reality. She was very helpful at my trial, reminding me to bring my veil and helped me with the wedding day ti...
metable for myself, my bridesmaids and the MOB and MOG. She arrived at the venue with a second, trusted hairstylist, and kept a schedule that worked well with the photographer and make-up artists. I truly appreciated her experience when she advised me get my hair done in the middle of my crew instead of last like other artists I looked at. I loved my hair and it withstood a night of dancing! Thank you, Lara!
Lara is amaaaaaaazing! I could not even believe how perfect my hair and make-up came out! I planned my wedding from out of state and did not do a hair and make-up trial, which was ...
a little bit of a risk. HOWEVER, Lara and her assistant Cheryl did an incredible job. I was going for a vintage, Audrey Hepburn look for my hair and make-up and Lara fulfilled my vision perfectly. She and Cheryl also did an amazing job with my bridesmaids and my mom and mother-in-law! Defintiely a great choice for hair and make-up for your wedding day!
Lara was amazing! She listened to everything I was looking for and more! I had a trial with her first for hair and makeup and both looked beautiful. At the trial we did a half up h...
alf down look which I loved, but on the wedding day I decided to switch my hair to an updo due to the weather and it looked awesome! It rained during photos and my hair and makeup still stayed all night long. She was really accommodating and understanding of what my bridesmaids and I wanted for the day. She and her assistant Cheryl really did make us feel special and beautiful! I would highly recommend her.
Lara Keefe and the two lovely ladies she brought with her (Cheryl and Sarah) were absolutely fantastic! Lara is extremely organized – she emailed me a schedule template ahead of ti...
me so I could structure my wedding day. She was very responsive to any questions I emailed her during my planning process. All three ladies showed up right on time, were super sweet, and extremely talented! My 7 bridesmaids, mother, husband’s mother, and I all got our hair and makeup done and we were right on schedule. Everyone looked gorgeous and all of the ladies had different hair styles. No one had a beauty “meltdown” or needed anything redone - which is a rarity in a larger wedding party! I did a trial with Lara several months prior to my wedding and was so happy with how both my hair and makeup came out that I booked her right away. My hair stayed in place all night (even after hours of dancing!) and my makeup stayed on perfectly. I highly recommend Lara Keefe of Lara Christine Hair & Makeup!
I highly recommend Lara for hair and makeup services for a wedding. I hired her for my 7/8/17 wedding. I felt so beautiful and I was so happy with how my hair and makeup turned out...
. She and her team of 2 came to the Nashua hotel room and did hair and makeup for myself (the bride) and 9 other women (bridal party/mothers/etc). They were extremely efficient (ended ahead of schedule, even!), did touch-ups at the end, and most importantly did an amazing job. My friends and family raved about their services. My bridesmaids, mother, sister, and mother in law all looked gorgeous. I am so happy I chose Lara for my wedding. It didn't hurt that her and her two coworkers (Cheryl and Shari) were very sweet and fun to hang around with in the hotel suite. Everything went so smoothly - which is important on a stressful day like a wedding day!
Also to note: I scheduled a trial with Lara earlier in the year at the salon she works it in Manchester. It was fun and a great way to get to know her and see what look I wanted for the big day.
Lara is an amazing hair and makeup artist. Her and her second stylist did our hair and makeup for both myself, my mother and sister (maid of honor) and my mother in law. Lara made ...
us feel so at ease at the start of the day when my nerves started out high. I'm still in awe of her ability to give me hair and makeup that made me feel so glamorous and the most beautiful I've ever felt without going over the top. It was natural and so perfect. Everyone that Lara and her stylist worked on looked stunning. I am so happy we found Lara Christine and cannot thank her enough for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I would highly recommend Lara for any occasion!
Lara did an incredible job with both hair and makeup. I was nervous to have professional makeup done for my mother and the mother of the groom, as they've had bad experiences in th...
e past, but Lara's work was natural and elegant. She is so flexible and will give you any style you ask for, or if (like me) you're clueless about this stuff, she'll give you some suggestions based on her own great taste. Everyone in my wedding party was thrilled with the results and I can't recommend her enough!
Lara and her fellow hair stylist Cheryl were so wonderful! She is so friendly and upbeat and helped to calm my nerves the day of. Her prices are so reasonable for the work that she...
does. You can tell that she really takes pride in her work and cares about her brides. They did hair for 11 people and two flower girls the day of my wedding and everyone looked stunning! I absolutely loved my hair. For my sister she wove in some real wildflowers and it looked amazing! My bridesmaids said out of all the weddings they’ve been in that they liked their hair the most from Lara and Cheryl. I can’t recommend her enough- she is fabulous and I would definitely work with her in the future!! Thank you Lara for making me feel so beautiful!!
Lara Christine did a beautiful job on hair and makeup for my wedding day. I do not wear much makeup and Lara made me still feel like myself with a natural look but also made me f...
eel beautiful. I have had my hair and makeup done in the past and I felt like i had to touch up after, there was not one thing I wanted to change about the way Lara did my wedding day look. We had a 3:30pm wedding and 7 girls getting hair and/or makeup done, Lara traveled to us at a small fee and brought one stylist to help and everyone looked incredible and we did not have to rush even with so many girls. My hair came out better than the pictures I used as examples. Both my hair and makeup lasted all night without touch ups. Lara uses good quality products. She was also very sweet and friendly and helped calm my wedding morning nerves. I would absolutely recommend Lara as a hair and makeup artist!!
After deciding not to go with my normal hair dresser for wedding hair, I booked Lara. I had already put a deposit on makeup, that's the only reason she didn't do makeup for everyon...
e also. Lara was AMAZING! The bridesmaids looked gorgeous... But my hair... WOW! It was better than my vision, better than even the trial and better than I thought possible. This woman is amazing! Not only did my hair look amazing, it stayed put all night long and looked just as good by the end of the night. You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Lara!!!!
I planned my wedding on a short timeline (4 1/2 months) and found myself looking for a hairstylist & makeup artist only 1 month before the big day. I was so lucky to find Lara! She...
was extremely professional and responsive to all of my emails and questions. The morning of the wedding I received a text message confirming her arrival time and she showed up exactly when expected. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. Highly recommended!
Lara did hair and make-up for me and a few of my bridesmaids. There was a little mix-up about timing so we were running a little late, but other than that the experience was perfec...
t. Everyone looked beautiful, and natural, and exactly how they wanted to look. She was professional and so friendly- she really made me feel comfortable. If you're going to have someone hang out with you all morning on your wedding day you want it to be someone you like, and she's great. She kept me calm even when we were running late. On top of all that, I loved what she did with my hair and make-up. It was pretty expensive, but definitely worth it.
