We're so happy we picked Larimar for our wedding venue! From start to finish, we had an all-around great experience. Gabriella was incredible - she helped us through every step of the planning process and went above and beyond to answer all our questions. On the wedding day, she did a phenomenal job coordinating all the details with us, our vendors and kept things running smoothly - my husband and I were able to fully enjoy our wedding day without the stress thanks to her. The food was also excellent - our wedding was a few weeks ago, and guests are still raving about how much food we had and how great it was. The service was also excellent - all of the staff was friendly, efficient and brought the energy... even on the dancefloor! And of course, the venue was gorgeous and was perfect for our guest count and personal tastes. We also loved how Larimar includes so much in their wedding packages; things other venues would have nickel and dimed us for were included in our pricing and/or easily accomodated. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our wedding day was enjoyable, relaxing, and exactly how we had envisoned. We highly recommend Larimar to all couples looking for an incredible venue.

This venue is so beautiful from the inside out, and their staff made our entire day feel seamless. We were blown away by their accommodations on the day of, especially with all the setup and cleanup. The Event Coordinator, Gabriella, especially deserves the biggest thank you. She went above and beyond in every way — organized, calming, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. She handled every detail behind the scenes so smoothly that we were able to fully relax and enjoy the day. Having someone so dependable and caring made such a difference, and I truly cannot recommend her enough to any future brides. So many of our guests told us it was one of the best weddings they've been to.

Based in Bristol, Connecticut, Larimar is an elegant banquet hall available to host wedding ceremonies and receptions. It can also accommodate rehearsal dinners. Recently refurbished, this family-friendly location has beautiful views of the club’s immaculate fairway and surrounding countryside. Large windows allow plenty of natural light to illuminate your celebration before the sun goes down over the golf course.
Facilities and Capacity
Remodeled for the 2020 season, Larimar can host between 50 and 200 guests. A covered outdoor venue is available for ceremonies, where loved ones can enjoy scenic views. Couples can say their vows in the romantic gazebo on the grounds in front of their nearest and dearest. A lush and well-maintained golf course can act as an idyllic photo backdrop. The renovated patio with firepit and wrap around deck with goergeous views are ideal for a laidback cocktail reception where the happy pair can greet their guests as a newly-married couple. Larimar offers a get-ready Bridal Suite for those important final touch-ups before an emotional day. This venue has ample parking and is wheelchair accessible.
Services Offered
Larimar has an award-winning full-service restaurant that can take care of your catering needs. Couples will receive stylish passed hors d’oeuvres, tapas tables and a fantastic duo plate dinner while highly trained staff can keep things running smoothly. Chairs, tables, and a dance floor is supplied by Larimar. Centerpieces are also available for an added touch of elegance. The all-important wedding cake can also be included in catering, giving couples one less feature to organize. Event planners are on hand to support couples in their wedding coordination. All-inclusive packages can help to keep worries to a minimum, while set up and clean up is provided by the venue.

the food all of it was so good and there was such a large variety of appetizers and hors d’oeuvres. Every guest from our wedding raved about the food and how they’ve never been to a wedding with so much food that was so good. I would definitely recommend not just for a wedding but any event. I have nothing negative to say it was a 10/10 experience.

, the tasting event, rehearsal and the day of was SO thorough and well organized. Not a single thing in our eye went wrong and we couldn’t have asked for the most perfect day. The feedback was absolutely stellar from all of our guests— The venue inside and outside (design, style, ease of access, quality of work) was just exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. Now the food, absolutely SPECTACULAR. The guests raved about the amount of food that was served and how delicious everything tasted (along with the awesome cocktails). They are still continuing to tell us how great the food was. We truly can’t say enough positive things about this day and everything leading up to it. I cried tears of happiness with our wedding and how stress-free they helped make it. To all of you at the Larimar, you made our dreams and vision come to life and we are so blessed to have chosen your venue to make our day so special. Thank you!!

with an indoor space in case of rain. Larimar fit all these criteria and the guests and vendors raved about what a nice and cozy venue it was - from the fireplace inside and fire pit outside, to the modern look of the reception room, to the beautiful greens and trees outside.
From the beginning, Andrea and Juan were great to work with. Andrea always made herself available to answer my multitude of questions and was always flexible as we made some last minute changes in the days leading up to the wedding. The food tasting in the spring was amazing (no shortage of food here!) and Andrea led the rehearsal to be sure all guests knew what to do on the day of.
What really stood out to us was how accommodating the staff was on the wedding day. Andrea consistently checked in with me and my soon-to-be-husband to be sure we had everything we needed. They even sent someone to the grocery store to get us deli ham because that is what we requested for lunch! She coordinated with our vendors beforehand to be sure everyone knew what they needed to do and where to go, and overall, the day went very smoothly. Best of all, she let us push the ceremony out 15 minutes to allow the rain to stop because she knew how much we wanted the ceremony to take place outside. I highly recommend Larimar to others looking for a wedding venue!

every small detail was perfect! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and our guests couldn't stop raving about how incredible the food was. We had around 160 guests at our wedding and fit everybody comfortably inside. They also have a gorgeous patio and front lawn/gazebo where the guests enjoyed cocktail hour and our ceremony, and could spend time outside as the night went on. The guys also got to play golf in the morning on the course which was an added bonus.
We highly recommend having your special day at the Larimar!

ocktail hour was amazing, as were the dozens of different pass around appetizers (which our guests could not stop talking about!). The meal itself was also AMAZING and another topic of conversation among our guests. Then, the banquet room was more gorgeous than I ever could have imagined--down to every last detail.
Also, working with Andrea and Tori throughout the process was easy. They were responsive when we had questions, flexible when we made changes or new requests (which happened often throughout the process), and just generally, made it clear that the details we cared about mattered. It was evident that bringing our vision to life (in every way!) was their top priority. If I could do it all over again, I would--and I'd do it again at the Larimar. It was the BEST day--so beautiful in every way and easy for us, as the couple.
We highly recommend this wedding venue for any couple who wants a gorgeous venue, an easy, flexible planning process, and coordinators who genuinely care about making this day everything you could possibly imagine.

ured that our wedding day went off without a hitch. The room looked gorgeous and the food was delicious. We did our ceremony outside and it was set up beautifully. My guests also loved the option of being able to sit outside on the patio/ deck when they needed a break from all the dancing. The bridal suite was also a wonderful little oasis and perfect for getting ready, I highly recommend Larimar!

y accommodating and quick to respond via email or phone calls. When planning, we were given some great advice and they were able to understand what we wanted even when we were being indecisive! We decided to have the cocktail hour outside, so they put up a large tent for us and a huge bar that was open all night so people could mingle outside when they wanted a break from the band. We never would have thought of having the bar outside all night, but it was perfect as there was less congestion inside. We also had food stations during the reception and the dinner was spectacular. Plenty of guests told us it was the best food they'd had at a wedding, both in variety and quality. Thank you to Donna, Juan and Andrea for making it such a wonderful event. Would love to do it all over again!

e had a question or concern it was answered quickly and efficently. We booked the place in March for an October wedding. They already had one booked for the afternoon so we took the morning. (Don't do this if you are not a morning person.) The ceremony was outside (quite chilly) but OK. We were at the Gazebo and there were chairs set up for everyone. Plenty of room for the photographer and others who wanted to take pics or video.
The venue was great with giving us a bridal room with a locker/dressing area for all of us who showed up in street clothes. There was a separate area for the guys so as not to see the bride dressed before the ceremony.
After the ceremony pictures were taken. The bride and groom only were taken to the pond area by golf cart for a few pics and the rest of them were taken either inside on their grounds which are perfect for photos. The cocktail hour was perfect with passed hot treats and then there was a cheese and fruit area.
The lunch buffet we served and the food was the perfect temperature and they didn't run out of anything. We had 3 choices plus salad, vegetable, potato and a roll. And then of course we had cake and ice cream for dessert. You will have to order your cake. The venue and DJ coordinated everything with time for dances. singers, and other things that needed be done like flower toss and garter. The wedding turned out to be perfect for my sister and her now husband. So glad we went with Chippanee. I promise that if you do you won't be sorry.

ding coordinator Donna Michaud is a godsend. Donna was easy to get in touch with and communicated with us throughout the process. Our wedding happened to be on the hottest day of the year this July and we had originally planned for a tent for our guests. We were able to make last minute changes to move everyone inside due to the heat advisory without any trouble. The staff and bartenders are top notch and the food was divine - I’m still getting compliments from our guests about the day. The club was open to members but we felt like we were the only people there. We also had access to a bridal suite which was great for us when we first arrived. The bridal suite gave us a space to decompress a little before our reception formally started. The grounds are spectacular! We were able to get great photos out on the property too. I would recommend Chippanee to anyone looking for an amazing space and reasonable price. Five out of five stars – definitely recommend!

Chippanee has some of the best food around and our guests are still raving about how much they enjoyed the appetizers, meal and venue.
Our photographer was able to capture amazing sunset shots and the landscaping that Chippanee has will surely provide any photographer with amazing backdrops for your pictures.
All of the servers, bartenders and staff at Chippanee were professional, helpful and extremely friendly. We really felt that everyone was working hard to make our wedding day unforgettable for us and our guests.
